  • Zenyatta was an exceptional racehorse. She raced a total of 20 times between 2007 and 2010, winning 19 consecutive races, a world record at the time, before losing by the smallest of margins in her attempts to land a second Breeders' Cup Classic in her final start.
There is unlikely to ever be another American filly who will capture the heart of a nation quite like Zenyatta did.
    Major wins:
    El Encino Stakes (2008)
    Apple Blossom Handicap (2008, 2010)
    Milady Handicap (2008, 2009)
    Vanity Handicap (2008, 2009, 2010)
    Clement Hirsch Handicap (2008, 2009, 2010)
    Lady's Secret Stakes (2008, 2009, 2010)
    Santa Margarita Handicap (2010)
    Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (2008)
    Breeders' Cup Classic (2009)

Unless you were part of her connections throughout her racing career or are an employee at Lane's End Farm, then you don't know the horse at all. 🤣🙄🤦🏻‍♀️
She has countless fans, almost all of which have followed her since the very beginning, so... You aren't special. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤭

She is undoubtedly one of the greatest female thoroughbred racehorses the U.S. has ever seen. The days following Queen Z's career on the track were exhilarating to say the least... To watch her strut her way to the gates, break slow and linger far back for the majority of the race, lengthen her strides as Smith shook the reins at her to go when they entered the final stretch, and then charge like a train, surging past her competition just in time to reach the wire first and to hear the roar of the crowd.. You would think that it would eventually get old and less exciting after 19 times in a row but it never did and that gut wrenching feeling of disbelief and heartbreak when she didn't make it to the wire in time for her very last race is unforgettable. This horse is truly something special and she touched so many people. Her disappointing broodmare career has taken nothing from her greatness either. Most champions are never strong producers and can't possibly live up to the unrealistic expectations that are thrown on them by the industry, Secretariat being an excellent example of that. Zen has been no exception, unfortunately. Nevertheless, she's a living legend and her name will never be forgotten. If the sport survives, they will be talking about her hundreds of years from now. ❤

Z hasn’t been a disappointment in her broodmare career, she’s had beautiful babies and she’s a wonderful mom, how can you ask for more than that

@@sheilamacpherson4948 Zenyatta has the same gene. Descendants of Princequillo all had a tendency of large hearts and extreme stamina. Seattle Slew, Sham, American Pharaoh, Cigar, John Henry, AP Indy, Justify, Makybe Diva, Rags to Riches, Curlin and California Chrome are all descendants of Princequillo and almost all are also desecendants of Nearco and Native Dancer. Those three lines are the most dominant male descendant lines throughout the world today and when combined produced the greatest champions.

oh and you were alive to watch these races to make such a statement??? comparing horse racing from austria/hunagry in the 1800's shows you are the biggest idiot on here who doesn't even know what you are writing. What was Kimscen fastest 1.5 miles? and I am sure you are an expert off Austrian/hungarian and European racing?
