TERRɅ INITIɅTIVE | Officialization of the Framework Agreement

At a 2-day summit held in the ancestral capital of Nabusimake, Greenwood Energy [“GWE”] and the Arhuaco People made the TERRɅ INITIɅTIVE Framework Agreement official, accompanied by more than 200 community members and nearly 50 guests from different organizations and geographies. Through multilateral presentations, traditional ceremonies, public assemblies, guided tours, and cultural exchange meetings, the summit promoted various spaces for connection between guests and the community, where TERRɅ's strategic allies could learn more about indigenous culture and its structural role in the development of the joint project.
Under the sacred tree of 'Bichun', on the eastern flank of Nabusimake, participants from Mexico, China, UK, Cuba, Colombia, USA, Panama, Argentina, and Spain, joined GWE and the Arhuaco People in the closing General Assembly of the indigenous officialization process of TERRɅ INITIɅTIVE. The event, led by the Mamus of the Main Kankurwas of Seykumuke and Numa'ka, counted with the participation of Directors of Libra Group, Huawei, LONGi, Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional, Bancolombia, Proparco, OTACC, ImpactA, Corpocesar, ERCO, and the Mayor's Office of El Copey, among other strategic allies, and leaders of various indigenous organizations, such as Ni'kuma, the Cabildo Arhuaco Magdalena-Guajira, and the Arhuaco Indigenous Reservation of Businchama.
