      Go see the dr for what? A nice expensive bill? They tell you; you need X-rays, then MRI after they suggest cortisone injections and physical therapy! You go to P.T (also extremely expensive!) and they literally give you stretches and exercises that can all be found on CZcams for free!!
      Healthcare in America is absolutely ridiculous!

    Hello, I been having this pain for awhile and all these stretches I would do when the pain came in, never really did anything just relived it a bit, and man I think it was causing testicle aches in the same leg.. few days ago it was driving me crazy and my friend had a massage gun, instant relief!!!! I haven't felt so much relief it was an amazing massage. this pain had been there months. Instant relief after massage gun and so much relief!

      That’s crazy you brought up the testicular aches cause I thought I was the only one 😂😭, it feels tight like even if some veins are tangled up in there, but I’ve gone to the doctors and they’re no help. They say they don’t see anything but I don’t know why I would lie about popping in my hips, sciatic pain, literally clicking or popping on my right lower hip side. Glad you found relief man cause I’ve tried the massage gun, little balls to sit on, stretches, strengthening workouts and nothing seems to help. Feels like I’m sitting on a golf ball on my right buttock :/

    Hello, thank you very much for this explanation and video. When I do the exercises you mentioned the pain goes away and it feels good, but the pain or discomfort comes back within 30 or hour sometimes 2 hrs. Will these be positive? Thanks :)

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  Před rokem +1

      Hello, @joseandrade8142! Thank you for watching the video and sharing your experience. It's great to hear that the exercises provided relief and made you feel better initially. However, if the pain or discomfort returns within 30 minutes to a couple of hours after doing the exercises, it is possible that you may still have some underlying issues related to piriformis syndrome.
      While temporary relief is a positive sign, it is important to note that self-testing and exercises at home can only provide preliminary information. If you are experiencing persistent pain or discomfort, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional such as a physical therapist or a doctor for a proper diagnosis and guidance on the best course of treatment.

    Hello can you please tell me if when we do these tests are we supposed to get relief from the pain ?or if we feel pain then we have piriformis im a little confused lol i was doing side leg lifts and now when i stand from sitting especially when driving i get a pain in my buttocks down to the back thigh and sometimes across the pelvis is this piriformis ? Thank you so much

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  Před 9 měsíci +2

      Hello, @ciaociaociao502. I get it, these tests might seem confusing, let me clarify this:
      1. When you're doing these tests for Piriformis Syndrome, the idea isn't to make the pain go away. Instead, they're meant to make the pain you're already feeling worse or the same. If the pain you feel during the tests matches what you feel in your daily life, that could be a sign of Piriformis Syndrome.
      2. If you're getting pain in your butt, back thigh, and pelvis, especially when you stand up from sitting or while driving, it might be related to Piriformis Syndrome. This pain often happens because the piriformis muscle messes with your sciatic nerve, causing pain shooting down your leg.
      It's a good idea to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. They can run tests, check your history, maybe even do some scans to figure out if it's Piriformis Syndrome.

In a nutshell, if you're doing a self-test for Piriformis Syndrome and you feel sharp pain, numbness, tingling, or radiating pain down your leg during or after certain moves, that could indicate a positive result.
