Thanks Doug! Looking forward to seeing you too! I plan on doing another shoutout video myself for all the channels I try to watch regularly, asking for suggestions for channels to subscribe!
Hey Rick, nice pick-ups. I'm not crazy about the 1962 set, but I am starting to like more and more individual cards from it. That's a cool menko card. Maybe we could make copies of it and get it to some of today's major leaguers, lol. Nice picking up the style of the logo on the caps. I'm almost wondering if Topps may have perhaps painted on the logos or even in some cases, air-brushed the hats on the player's heads. Or could they have borrowed some Seals caps for the photos? I noticed that Ray Monzant's cap has the S being higher than the F. Check out Bob Speake's hat. That really looks like somebody had a hard time painting it on, lol. One thing I did check out after watching your video was I found a picture of Bill Rigney with Walter Alston on opening day, 1958. Rigney's cap has the classic SF logo with the S higher than the F.
Gave a video like. Love the’62 Topps. Neat to hear about the Seals hat. Thanks for sharing, Rick
