Nice Mantle cards & story of Lockman. Dave Sisler father was none other than HOF George Sisler. I was with my parent s at Old Timers Day 8/11/1973 when Mickey Mantle hit his last homer off of Whitey Ford. I remember it being a hot humid day & we sat on the 3rd base side. We sat just below the mezzanine level & someone spilled beer on my mothers back!! The memories. Take care.

Wow!!! Looks like you had an excellent National. Those are 3 awesome pitchers that you picked up. Beautiful cards of 3 of the best ever. Very nice Ruth card too. I like that card because it connects boxing & baseball. I also like the 1951 Topps blueback set pickup. I am also slowly working on that set. I have about a dozen bluebacks. Like you, I also already completed the redback set. Thanks for the fun video Rick.

1952 Topps goodness. 😮. I had a tough time locating a 1933 Goudey green & ‘34-35 Diamond Stars Mel Ott. Did find two nice low to mid-grade examples but the dealer didn’t wanna negotiate.
