One of the biggest advantages of a vapor blasting system is the ability to mix abrasives for a particular application. With certain ratios of abrasives the vapor blasting process can be tailored to any application. With this segment we mix aluminum oxide and glass beads for vintage motorcycle restoration purposes. This particular mixture gives a quicker clean while still retaining that as new look that only vapor blasting can achieve. The glass beads provide the OEM finishes while the aluminum oxide allows for a quicker clean/ cut of contaminates on the substrate. Any level of finishing and cleaning can be achieved with vapor blasting and this is specific to each individual customer. Click the link above to contact us today and learn more about how this revolutionary process can help your hobby or business immediately.

Being that the combinations appear to be endless. A shop have to consider finishes it will produce, thus meaning different mixtures.
So if that were the cases, time management would mean having multiple machines with different mixtures OR draining one machine of the current mixture, cleaning the machine and then installing another mixture, not very time effective is it.
    Great vids.

Can you do half with the glass bead only and the other half with glass bead and aluminum oxide? To see the visual difference.

To cut down on the contaminatiion of the grit - it would make sense to get the part as clean as possible prior to processing in the cabinet.

I use wet blasting and there's no way I'd go back to dry blasting. There's no dust to impede my view. Water slurry carries energy much further down into deep recesses, doesn't pack in blind holes, carries away grime instead of smearing it, and is really fast at stripping parts.

Would Glass Bead #13 work good for a aluminum frame on a dirtbike and other parts?

Absolutely, but if you need to remove paint first you will need something more aggressive like garnet or aluminum oxide.

When adding Glass Bead (4 parts) and Aluminum Oxide (1part), this will help speed up the cleaning process.

Hi do you need to degrease/clean in parts washer before blasting ?, thanks #SAVEOURCHILDREN #wwg1wga 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

If you Degrease/Clean prior to blasting it will keep your system cleaner longer. But not a Requirement.
