Also it is way more fleshed out. You don't have an abusive "monster", but neither a poor innocent damsel. All charaters actually have depth, both protagonists have their issues and only together and with the help from those around them do they manage to overcome them bit by bit. This is my most beloved anime of all time, truely something for the heart. It catches you right away and takes you on to a rollercoaster of emotions. I don't know how often I sat in my chair, forgot the time and asked myself "wait, that was already a 24 minute episode?" when the ed started. The manga is even better 😍 (I read it since the first volume)

@@azeyma7829Season 2 has a different setting and some new characters added to the roster, which does make it feel different, but it still has the same emotional exploration and depth and twists of the first season and it's a really good watch, i'd definitely recommend checking it out. Chise and Elias develop so much in this season too and I loved seeing all the new magic and getting to see more of the alchemists world, as that was something mostly unexplored in the first season.
I love his kindness and his protective way, but what surprises me the most is that he really loves, it seems silly but truly loving and being kind has become a quality that only a few people have nowadays.

IMO Its the classic beauty and the beast trope. He's powerful, has status, has money (bro spent 5mil on the girl) and is open about his failure in understanding emotions. Elias is a W character in his own right, but with traits like these i see why the ladies like him.
I realy simp for "teacher" from the manga series "The Girle From the Other Side" (I dont recommend the anime if you haven't read the manga, otherwise it will not make sense, and even then it was a disappointment, the art was amazing though) for alot of the same reasons that make Elias attractive. They are both kind, wear sexy clothing, nice voices (english dub), and both have skull heads 😊
