I like this woman, she is speaking for herself and not letting the reporter put the words she wants to hear in her mouth.
Reporter, echoing the standard psychological dogma: "Do you think at some level you just shut down, almost as if it was happening to another person?" Hostage, with a bit of an impatient look: "No. It was happening to me." She recognized what the reporter was doing and just set the record straight.

Also this statement that the reporter wanted to put in her mouth, that the hostages were drugged to make them look happy and smiling when they were handed over. They want to show a very specific image. The fact that children in Gaza miss their mothers because they sit in Israeli prisons for a long time, often without charge, is also very tragic and sad. All people want is to live in peace! 😢 I hope 'all' hostages will be free soon and healthy!

I was listening to one of the Palestinian women taken captive by israeli soldier where they tortured her, she had a breast feeding 9 month old kid, they neither let her or her husband go, continuously questioning her about hamas, to which she said I don't know but they said you're a liar, they used to hit her, many days held her arms tied to her back and hit her in this condition, took her hijab off, psychology torture her by shooting in the air and telling her that they killed her husband, and then ask about hamas, for the first days she was the only women in all the men, then she was taken to a room where there were other women the youngest being 15 years old, they (women there) told her that here they were sexually assaulted and raped, and after 54 days of continuous torture she was released, now that was the interview of Palestinian woman and this of an israeli held captive by hamas. The difference in treatment is loud and clear. It doesn't take much of a brain to figure out what propaganda media is trying to do and what the reality is.

Soldiers are frightened also. Casualties from friendly fire are not unusual in a hot firefight in active combat. Getting back to friendly lines during active combat is a difficult thing to do under such circumstances. Recently, a 4 year old little girl was sent out into open by Hamas fighters during the morning to see if the IDF in front of them were awake. She was almost shot because the IDF soldiers heard rustling after being ambushed the day before. It’s what war is like, especially against an enemy like Hamas who use asymmetrical warfare tactics and view civilians as protection.

@@SaxonsGlory In Hebrew we would say: Ata ma habets et emet. And applying that phrase I will explain each point. On October 7, you saw images of Hamas entering Ofakim, Sderot, Kfar Aza, Zikim, Re'im and Nahal Oz, with weapons, but maybe you and all the people in the West don't know that all the Jewish settlers who are in the settlements and kibbutzim are armed people.
It's not like your neighborhood in your city, where you see neighbors in a neighborhood and you assume they are unarmed civilians, no, not at all, the Jews who are going to settle in the occupied Palestinian land have good guns, and assault rifles. THEY ARE NOT UNARMED PEOPLE.
On Israeli news on babies slaughtered? Firstly, you have to be very naïve to believe such a thing, secondly the whole region is full of cameras and drones flying and recording..
Possibly you don't know that at the northern entrance of Gaza there is an Israeli military checkpoint called Erez where there are many cameras and drones……. Also to the northwest in front of Gaza there is an Israeli military barracks that is also a military training center called Zikim, where there are cameras and drones as well……….. . Also to the east of Gaza, in Nahak Oz, there is a LARGE UNIT of Israeli Artillery that is FULL of cameras and drones……
In addition to that, in the settlements, houses and kibbutz there are ALSO cameras and drones..
In other words, if what the Israeli government says had been true, surely the whole world would already be flooded with videos of Hamas militants killing babies, children and unarmed women. There's none of that.
The Supernova Sokkol festival full of naive Jews supporting the ocuppation? FYI, there was a fight there. There was crossfire between the Israeli army and Hamas. How many people killed at the festival were killed by Hamas and how many people killed at the festival were killed by the Israeli army?
About the defenseless people who were in the path of Hamas from October 7 until the next day, for moral reasons I cannot refer to that without first referring to the tens of thousands of Palestinian children, women, elderly that the Zionist power has murdered since 1930... For the Zionist State of Israel to be founded, thousands of Palestinians had to die during the bombings carried out by the Jewish terrorist groups Haganah, Lehi and Irgun in the 1930s and 1940s, and during the great Palestinian revolt, and during the massacres committed in 1947 and 1948, more than 300 massacres of Palestinian villages have been documented. committed by Zionist irregular militias to force Palestinians to flee Palestine, and to be able to found the State of Israel.
And since 1948, more than 100,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli IDF in bombings, in military raids, and so on. Doesn't that matter? But if the Palestinians react and defend themselves, they are condemned?. Do you expect the Palestinians to allow themselves to be killed in silence, without reacting?
First, then, let's talk about the atrocities committed against the Palestinian population over decades. Otherwise, we fall into immoral discrimination. The facts and numbers are clear.
On innocent Jewish deaths on October 7 should also be taken into account the Israeli tanks that have fired on Jewish houses in some settlements where Hamas militants were hiding.... . Not only can you see the testimonies of neighbors on Hebrew websites, but also the Israeli police themselves have released videos taken from their helicopters where Israeli tanks shoot on houses killing Jewish families.
There are also independent meida that have investigated the truth of October 7, neutral media that say the truth and not the victimist propaganda of the Israeli government. You can even search on the internet.
About the former hostages, surely you don't know but since the first elderly woman was released and shook hands with a member of Hamas, the Netanyahu government issued a resolution where the hostages are forbidden to make statements, so it is understandable that very few say that they had good treatment and medicines, and most only speak to say "bad things". that is, to maintain the propaganda of the Israeli government.
Mu suggestion: Don't believe the propaganda of Israel's government, because since 1905 the propaganda strategy of the Zionists (I repeat Zionists, not Jews, to be a Jew is not to be a Zionist) is one of their greatest resources to distort the truth and hide their crimes.
After this long explanation I don't have any more time, but I will tell you that I am always surprised to find people in the West who are neither Jewish nor Israeli who make a fierce defense of the crimes committed by Israel.
That is understandable inside Israel, because all Jews there are socialized and educated from birth to assume that Palestinians are inferior and savage beings who are worthless. And the Zionist project needs to keep that racism and discrimination alive in order to sustain itself. I know Israel and Palestine well, so I know what I'm talking about. But why some people in the Western can be so blind and support the massacre of tens of thousands of Palestinians?
I think it's because of a lack of information, because the Zionist propaganda that is spread by the mainstream media is the only thing that reaches most people.
Anyway, I believe that Zionism must be confronted, Zionism is only destroying the humanist legacy that always existed in Jewish culture, Zionism is even going to destroy the memory of the Holocaust because the world no longer believes the justification of the Holocaust as a Zionist excuse to justify any killing of Palestinians.
And assuming you don't know that for decades the military has killed tens of thousands of Palestinian women, men, children, babies, YOU DO KNOW what's going on now. In just three months, Israeli bombs have killed more than 10,000 Palestinian children and babies. But you don't ask about that atrocity.
FYI Hamas is the Palestinian resistance, Hamas is defending its land and its people.
In case you didnt know it, until the nineteenth century, a majority Arabic population of local origins and a smaller Jewish population, also native to the area, lived peacefully in the region of Palestine. And the two populations would have continued to coexist peacefully, finding their way after colonialism, if the Zionists had not appeared with their violent political project, using economic power, political power and massacres to expel the Palestinians Arabs from that land.
The Palestinian Arabs were natives of that land, so they had a natural right to it, because their parents and their parents' parents and their fathers' parents were born there.
      Letroot, shalom.

Anyone else notice how she was not allowed to talk about the fact that she was fed, or about the fake drugs accusations? It definitely was a traumatic experience, but everything that she said was rather the trauma from her expectations, she was expecting to be raped, but instead was given clothes to be covered, she was expecting to be held in a terror tunnel, but instead was kept in an apartment, she was expecting to be killed but returned home. I mean the horror of her kidnapping experience is mostly from fear and not actual experiences. And I wouldn’t be surprised if her sister was killed by the Israeli bombs, that seemed to be the most terrifying part.

Smiling and handshakes was an image of the release that Israel felt hurt its position. Kids were coming out of Israeli detainment with broken arms. Simple. Very simple.
It's not a thousands of years matter.
Zionism is danger and should not be adopted by a state.

The Jews are the indigenous people of Israel. The bible, history, and archeological evidence proves it. However, Many Palestinians actually came from neighbouring countries. They should go back to them. Even more than that, millions of Jews were displaced from other countries both in Europe and the middle eastern Muslim countries. They were forcibly expelled with no compensation for the property and homes and businesses they were forced to leave behind. No one gave anything back to them. So your suggestion is very 1 sided@@youssefdirani

@@user-fr3md1dh4m population density of people living there was probably higher than that in Syria. Population count in the 1922 census was around 750,000 and area is 25,483 square kilometers, which means a population density is about 29 individuals per square kilometer. May you explain why is this few ? Even in 1922, after that many Zionists actually came to Palestine, when jews were 11% of the population (again my problem is Zionists, not jews), things could have worked out if the right to self determination was considered. Regardless, it's not relevant whether they were few or not. Indigenous, of all religions, own the land !
No one is saying there weren't jews there ! So of course those indigenous jews are Palestinians and have the right in the referendum as much as any other native whatever religion they belonged to.
I think there are some nuances behind "forcibly expelled". PJCA was the Palestinian section of ICA or JCA (Jewish Colonisation Association) led by Baron Maurice de Hirsch. The aim of ICA was to support Jewish emigration from Europe and Asia to other parts of the world; to create agricultural settlements in North and South America; and to obtain authorization and autonomy for these settlements.
I wonder how, assuming antisemitism is true, the Zionists preferred the fight with Palestinian natives over living in Argentina, US, or Canada ?
Wasn't it clear from the beginning they're making a mistake. I imagine the immigrants not really knowing what is awaiting them.
Besides any refugee should come in peace and be polite, but here's what happened :
I quote from Ahad Ha’am one of the foremost pre-state Zionist thinkers who died in 1927 (that is during early British mandate):

As you heard in the video, getting kidnapped is terrible but it doesn't look like she was tortured or worse. In contrast, look up the story of the 13 year old Layan as an example. Horrific I can't type it even but she needs constructive surgery if you understand what that means.
I can't believe they were risking the hostages' lives with the bombing - and they've killed some (besides the ones they shot). The hostages' families are right to lose their mind on the israeli gov.

A Kibbutz resident who had been away from his home - whose partner was killed in the melee - reveals stunning new details:
“His voice trembles when his partner, who was besieged in her home shelter at the time, comes to mind. According to him, only on Monday night (9 October) and only after the commanders in the field made difficult decisions - including shelling houses with all their occupants inside in order to eliminate the terrorists along with the hostages - did the IDF complete the takeover of the kibbutz. The price was terrible: at least 112 Be’eri people were killed. Others were kidnapped. Yesterday, 11 days after the massacre, the bodies of a mother and her son were discovered in one of the destroyed houses. It is believed that more bodies are still lying in the rubble.”

Like when Andrew Tate was arrested for up to 6 months before charges needed to be filed - but that *didn't* mean that he didn't face a judge within 24h, had no legal representation, couldn't appeal, or wasn't informed on the accusations.
