We explore journalistic integrity this week as Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum revisit Smallville Season 3 Episode 18: TRUTH!
After reflecting on times in their career when journalists were trying to get close for a story, the guys reflect on all the truth bombs dropped across Smallville in this episode.
Michael talks about the pros and cons of a relationship with a journalist and remembers bringing real life situations with his father into his scenes with Lionel.
Tom pokes at yet another scene where Clark deals with syringes and shares a crazy memory from Season 1.

TRUTH (S3E18) Crooked Journalists On Set, Dropping Truth Bombs & John Glover Intimidation #smallville #talkville #season3 - Zábava
Clark's capacity to forgive is stronger than Batman's force of willpower.
That moment when Pete admitted to liking Chloe was such a surreal and shocking moment. But if you look back on the prior episodes, you can see hints of it.
That was my reaction back then . Was looking forward to seeing where it would go but alas.
When he noticed she had allat...😂
@@yahmicah4294😂😂😂🤦🏾♂️
I don't think it was supposed to be a secret.
Yet, in the comics, Pete ended up with Lana. 😂
New quote for the Merch... "Just listen for one god damn second" 😂 love when Ryan voices his opinion!
OMG YES. I need it on a t-shirt
I loved that
Ryan is getting more involved. We need more of his opinions since he’s never watched it until now.
right! lol like isn't the whole point of him sitting in on the podcast (cuz he's never seen the show and wasn't involved in making it) is to get his objective fresh opinion lol poor thing...plus he's so mild-mannered, he needs to be a little more assertive if he wants to get a word in 😂
@@asyouwish3636 I think it’s really admirable of him to agree to watch an entire series especially if you know nothing about the origin story.
I remember explaining to my ex wife in a certain comic series, Lex and Clark were once friends. So to have an outsiders’ take on the series is interesting. Tom and Michael barely remember any of it. Ryan does need to speak up more and I’m glad in this episode he did.
@@CCStormTheAftermath RIGHT lol especially when it's 10 seasons! that's a big commitment nowadays 😂
sidenote: the show is SO worth it!
well considering the fact that none of them have actually watched the show - mostly just the being involved in making it is their add on to the table
Tom's comedic chops were really on display here. His reactions whenever Martha or Pete told Chloe the truth cracked me up!
omg his facial expressions were PRICELESS 😂
@@asyouwish3636 Especially when he says "Mom!" with the grocery bags in his hands, LMAO.
@@Costas22 😂😂😂🤗🤗🤗
yeah reactions were great this episode
"Chloe goes throughout the halls getting different Canadians to admit embarrassing truths" is the funniest line from the plot summary portion of this podcast we've ever had 😂
I always appreciated the football guy (who I think managed not to sound Canadian) being so casual about his crush on Fitz. The whole joke is a little gay panic-y, but the awkward looks are all kind of low key and funny.
“That would be Fitz.”
*cuts to Fitz’s surprised reaction*
The non-verbals in this episode are just golden! And that one makes me laugh every time! So damn funny.
a heater?? nooo, a sweet rose at least! truth bombs coming out , I loved the Lionel line "He'll be lucky if he can get a job as a dishwasher!" then smirks, then realizes what he said. Gold!
One of the best things about Chloe is how much her character transforms over the course of the series. She becomes so incredible, and one of my favorites. I think she is one of the most realistic of the cast in high school in her behaviors that may seem unlikeable. Love to hear your thoughts especially since it’s your first time doing a full watch through ❤️
great point. cool to see the different across the seasons
She really does transform into Clark's biggest protector. In this episode she is dangerous. It is a great arc
I want to know you guys ever think about doing one more season? I think it be a hit all over again
I can't believe people like Chloe haha. It's weird to me.
@MomoSimone22 she’s my favorite character on the show. Yes she made mistakes in earlier seasons but as seasons progress she becomes a close confidant to Clark and he later on always went to her for advice. I like Lana in some ways but she’s certainly no saint. Chloe is one of the people who is “all in.” She poured her feelings out to Clark knowing she would get hurt. That took guts IMO. Lana never did that. Not really. Lana takes off to Paris (because of Clark) then comes back. Lana doesn’t know what the hell she wants. She’s up, down, sideways, etc. Chloe and Lex are driven people who know what they want and go for it. That’s just how I’ve always seen them.
The “Clana,” fan base was so strong that people would have been upset if Clark did start dating Chloe. Chloe loved him the most and went thru hell with him in later seasons. Chloe was willing to go the distance with Clark that Lana and even Lois wouldn’t do. That’s just my opinion. Again I don’t dislike Lois or Lana because they have many endearing moments but Chloe sticks out for me. I don’t always condone her actions but she will admit to them. Lana has made her fair share of mistakes but she at times acts like she’s little Miss Angel 😇 which she is not. And let’s not forget who was snooping on Chloe’s computer looking at photos of her and Clark at the Spring formal. Lana did that and yet no one seems to address that?
I love the show and I love love Tom’s portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman but when it comes to Chloe I’m very defensive of her character because I really relate to her. I can have a big mouth sometimes and wish I hadn’t opened it like Chloe but like her I will admit to screwing up.
For me, me the most powerful line is after Lionel tells his truth, he tells Chloe she should not have asked him that. John Glover's tone and delivery came across as very dangerous, peaking curiosity of what the consequences of her knowing that information could be. It seemed each secret she unfolded became more important building up to that unsettling moment.
Yes! It was a great buildup of how much trouble she'd both reveal and get into with her newfound power. The scene with Lionel was really the climax of the episode even more than the bridge.
Also love your use of "peaking" after Lionel calls Chloe "a bit peaked" in that scene haha.
Man, the horrible delivery the mothers son gave while trying to kill Chloe on the bridge, "MY MOTHER DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE IN JAIL!!!" lol that line gets me everytime!😂😂😂
Damn. Who's that?
LMFAOOAOA right
This is a fun episode of smallville, showing the real feelings of many characters. Allison’s performance in this is excellent and entertaining. We definitely have Chloe getting a little antagonistic during her power trip. She’s not really showing any regard for anyone, wearing her reporter hat a little to tight. When Clark says she would betray a friend for a story, I think he is right. And she gets upset when Lana says she couldn’t trust her? But luckily Chloe gets development and will soon become Clark’s most trusted ally.
Need to edit this in: Rosenbaum no need to downplay the conversation between the girls! I think it’s an important one because it’s honestly one of the few conversations that Lana and Chloe gets in the show that only focused on their friendship and development, and not a guy.
It's so interesting rewatching the early seasons and seeing how different Chloe was. When I think about the show overall I really like her character. She's a great friend and ally for Clark and the other heroes and becomes such a great character that it always shocks me how less likable she was in the early seasons
@@Vixin24At the time they were still developing her character. So they could have taken her many different ways, especially since she’s not a chaacter from the comics. They coukd have done anything with developing her character. I’d say Chloe was one of the things that helped make the show feel fresh, interesting and unique, especially towards the Superman mythos. It’s a nice added layer of depth to an already vast universe.
@Vixin24 yeah they had to do something w her. she was so unlikable in the beginning, I kinda get what they were going for just don't think it was executed the way they wanted which is why she was kinda hated in the first few seasons. def was less hard on her in my re-watch cuz I was able to process her pathology more
loved the Lionel storyline in the background
🌹🌹Tom's facial expressions during pretty much every interaction is priceless! his performance was perfect range of human emotions...shocked that Pete and Martha overshare, panicked over the threat of Chloe's death, when Pete kisses Chloe!😂...sarcasm w Lex...when he taps in to his infinite capacity for forgiveness and chooses to believe Chloe "wasn't herself"..his interaction at the end w Lana 💔
the kiss shocked us. love
When you said human emotions right there. I recall, over time, Tom became good at acting like an alien having a human experience for the first time. (I noticed this when Chloe starts dating Jimmy Olson and he is genuinely happy for her, even though Clark was finally thinking about dating Chloe in the episodes just before it.)
Yes Clark was having those feelings for her but then Jimmy shows up. I’m like great perfect timing lol 😂
this is one of my fave episodes of season 3. no matter how complicated the friendship between Clark and Chloe is. its not something they want to give up on.
woah! a fave? so many other great ones though
@@TalkVillePodcast I will admit I am huge fan of the Chloe and Clark friendship (when it’s not sandwiched in a Lana triangle) so when they get to show how much they care about each other I smile,
I never understood why Clark didn’t get sick every time Chloe talked to him since her breath was made of kryptonite .
I just came up w my own theory about that lol when Lex was experimenting on it, the chem composition changed to something like the rainbow K we see in S9 Persuasion. Clark inhales that without it hurting him AND no one affected loses their memory!
same
I love how Tom refers to his character as 'Clark' instead of 'I could have done xyz', meanwhile Michael when speaking to Tom about Clark is like 'You could have done xyyz' lol.
Rosenbaum's impression of Chloe dating in highschool and spilling all the intimate details had me laughing so hard. Did not see that coming
hahah glad you dig it
Lex has always been the best part of smallville cause his character is fighting against who's his father wants him to be versus who he wants to be. It's all because he wants his dad's love
It's always funny when Michael guesses Ryan's favorite scene, but today...that was hilarious 😂
nailed it
This must have been one of the the first episodes that truly showcased Chloe and Allison's acting. She does a very good job here to keep Chloe likeable in a situation where she really wasn't.
And of course John Glover once again steals the show with his marvellous acting, especially when he tells Chloe the truth in the hospital. His chemistry with Allison was always brilliant.
All in all a solid episode that lays the groundwork for Lionel's unravelling in the coming weeks. Can't wait for the Memoria Talkville!
Facts dope episode
Tom is amazing as Clark. He plays Clark like an alien pretending to be human. Never feels like a human on screen and that really makes him stand out from the other characters. Also Clark being so nervous that they will find out hes an alien is hilarious 😆 "hes kidding" "mom!" Very comedic and fun episode. Really cool scenes like Lionel/Chloe, Lex/Chloe, Martha/Chloe and Pete/Chloe/Clark. And i really like what Allison Mack did with Chloe, she really developed that character that doesnt exist in the Superman universe as far as i know. Another thing i like about Chloe is that shes pretty much the only character that always has a new look and hair style as the seasons go on
Fun episode! Sad you all didn’t give this one a better rating. But agree with your favorite scene! Lionel’s reaction was priceless.
Clark is immune to Chloe’s truth power because 2nd hand exposure doesn’t affect him, only direct exposure to the kryptonite element. 😊
He's also not human, and it's possible that the way it forces people to tell the truth doesn't work on Clark because his body works differently
@@SebasTian58323 That's my thinking. It's the same as Mrs. Luthor's power not affecting Clark in "Heat."
I don't think that explains it. They showed that Chloe emitted particles of kryptonite when the power was used - that's why it looked like a Listerine commercial - so Clark should have been exposed. Also, I'm sure we've seen meteor mutants affect Clark before, like those guys who tossed him into the furnace. The writers had no rules.
The truth finally comes out when Pete Ross says he has real feelings for Chloe Sullivan. I remember the scene especially when Clark enters a lab the door opens automatically in that scene but behind the scenes commentary Tom says it had to be opened manually by two people.
Not to mention a deleted scene from the pilot where, as they’re going into the gymnasium, Pete’s hand slides down to Chloe’s butt.
Chloe: “Pete!”
Pete: “It’s a friend-friend thing!”
Poor Pete can’t catch a break!
Chloe was really on the hunt this episode. She got into things and places she shouldn’t have been able and gets away. She pops up right where and when they fear her most. Really interesting how her interactions with the Luthors went down. Then seeing how Lionel did a complete 180 and turned her power to his favor... That’s some Big bossin’.
the hunt indeed
This episode was something that gets better as it goes on... It's definitely a solid episode... This episode also shows Chloe's character development as she realizes that her curiosity can get so intense that it causes people (even her friends) to distance themselves from her, while ruining some people's lives (a la, the teacher and her son)... Despite all the chaos that Chloe has caused, Clark still has her back even when she's throwing shots at him... That hug 🫂 between Clark and Chloe at the end cements that their friendship is ironclad and that nothing will be able to come between them ever again (for now, at least)... We talk about Tom's chemistry with Kristin, however, Tom also had chemistry with Allison (and not even gonna perp, I wish that Clark and Chloe could've had a romantic relationship maybe for half of a season at least because there was always something there... Clark was in love with Lana, however, he had feelings for Chloe even tho he may have denied it lol)... Pete was great in this episode as I could definitely relate to him when it came to the girl he had feelings for was into his best friend so when Pete tells Clark "even before I knew you had powers, you cast a big shadow" as I could relate to that also... The scene when Chloe gets Lionel Luthor to confess to killing his parents was 😳🤯... Lex continuing to be that big brother to Clark will never get old 😎... All in all, I give this episode 🌹1/2 (1.5 roses)... #LoveThePodcastFellas #TalkvilleWednesdays
I think Ryan’s favorite scene is the fan favorite part for a lot of us!
Yess! Love this episode, one of my favorites. I saw the episode on DVD with commentary and I remember Allison Mack referring to herself as a wet dog in the opening scene 😂. The banter she had with John Glover on that commentary was so cute. Love the podcast. Keep up the great work 👍
Yes 😅
LOVE SMALLVILLE & TALK VILLE! "You know that's the truth, right?!?!"
Like how many times "Truth" is said in this episode of the podcast!
Please get James Marshall as a guest!
And, how can we get the video of the Ad for PrizePicks?
I thought the plot of this episode was pretty cool, but we also saw how curious Chloe is. Especially when she asks Clark to tell her his secret. I also found it pretty funny when Pete kissed Chloe and interesting how the truth thing didn't affect Clark.
I really miss Smallville.😢
The way he ripped out that seat belt was super cool
Funny to see your reactions when Clark puts the needle in her chest. It always cracked me up this scene and was wondering why Clark was so violent 😂
Rewatching smallville since i was.young, and with the first timer wife. Weridly enough just finished this epsiode and found the podcast! Good stuff.
This episode reminded me so much of the season 6 episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Once More, with Feeling". The musical episode where everyone was forced to tell the truth against their will through song, but at the end of it everyone remembered the truths they said and had to just deal with the consequences of it. Loved that episode and this reminded me a lot of it
And the one where Buffy could hear people's thoughts except Angel's
I gotta say for a darker season, Truth had some great lighter, memorable moments. Pete kissing Chloe, Chloe's having fun with her new-found ability and asking different things to a few students, the over-the-top Pulp Fiction needle moment. I also love this episode has commentary with it which is fun to listen to, especially since John Glover was part of it. Personally one of my favorite lighter episodes.
I do also remember from listening to the commentary, James Marshall said they actually shot the scene with Chloe and Clark at the end in two different ways. One where Clark forgives her, and one where he doesn't. It makes me wonder how different the episode would feel if Clark didn't forgive Chloe for chasing after the truth.
WOW yeah that would have been very interesting! I watched the series twice now, never really feels like she earns any of the times Clark forgives her. and I often wonder how it would have played for Chloe to lean into that dark side of her, almost becoming a villain, and see how that redemption arc would have played out. but ultimately, Clark's compassion is nearly bottomless so I think the infinite forgiveness more about his character than hers
@@asyouwish3636 She keeps his secret in Exile, she keeps his Big Secret as soon as she finds out, and Lionel complains her report on Clark tells him nothing whatsoever. Clark forgives her because he believes she would never truly betray him, and he's proven right. (Plus she helps him investigate all kinds of stuff.)
@@jerodast except all of those are self-motivated examples, not part of character development...
-She keeps his secret in Exile cuz it makes her feel needed. she knows something Lana doesn't. she can pretend he is trusting her over anyone else AND she uses the excuse Clark threatened to truly disappear. when in reality she could have told the Kents and they wouldn't have disclosed how they found him. that secret keeping was about Chloe, not Clark.
-she DOES give Lionel everything she has, BUT she doesn't actually have anything. so she can use the excuse that she's protecting him, but really she didn't know anything. so she's not protecting Clark. Clark protected himself by not being honest w her. I don't believe she would have disclosed his Kryptonian heritage if she knew, but had Clark just been a meteor infected she would have absolutely told Lionel. and she would have justified it cuz she had already helped solve crimes involving meteor infected, and she can't get over that Clark won't share that w her if that's his secret.
-and she keeps the Big Secret because it makes her feel important. she finally can feel useful to Clark. even the way she discovers it: is about Alicia. from a writing perspective, Chloe's classic abandonment issues drive her. her incessant need to know the truth, her constant insertion into situations that have nothing to do w her, eventually she'll try to control the situation always w the excuse of protecting Clark. THAT'S character development. all those counter points are really manifestations of how she's coping w the trauma she developed by being left by her mother.
I mean don't get me wrong, the result is that Clark ends up w a useful sidekick/helper. but the point is that her growth almost always is either plot-driven or someone else's character motivated (usually Clark) ie: she's forgiven but did no action to earn it. Clark forgives her because that's in his character. Actually, almost all of S8 is an example, but that's a whole other conversation! lol
now. . we do see some actual character growth sprinkled in the series, and you see it mostly in S10...ie: in S9 various eps she's low key discouraging both Clark and Lois from sharing the truth w each other but then in S10 she encourages Lois to go thru w the wedding
the take away is, Chloe does change but usually as a reflection of Clark, to push his character development and not her own
Interesting things of note: 29:12 - Spaceballs anyone? I guess someone likes Mel Brooks.
It was nice to see Allison involved in something outside of the love triangle. Would have been curious to see what Chloe's truths would have been if she was also impacted by the gas that way.
Chloe does tell her truths during the show.
Love of Clark and hoping
Fear she may end up like her mother, mentally ill
My week is incomplete till i see Michael and Tom shitting on the episode 😂😂😂
A fun episode that I think was trying to experiment early on with Chloe gaining kryptonite abilities. A neat concept, that resulted in some humorous reveals: such as Pete telling Chloe about Clark's powers, as he put it: Clark going "Super Sonic" to get hotdogs fron Metropolis stadium. Or another is Martha letting slip about Jor-El to Chloe. Sighting him as the reason Clark ran off to Metropolis that past summer. Just little moments that make this one a treat. TGIW!😀❤❤
Surprisingly Ryan's favourite scene is one of my favourite parts of this podcast too
Hot take maybe, but this episode is incredible. The acting and character confessions was just amazing.
This is easily one of those episodes I could rewatch over and over 2 rows for me
Yeah I love this one. It is so much more interesting than some of that crap from season 1 the guys would give 1-2 roses haha.
guys i grew up on this show
just wanted to say thanks for keeping me company while reminiscing of better times
13:49 Great point, Michael! You are a journalist now, and you're always so respectful to your guests and their stories.
Keep up the good work Talkville. 🌹
Always!
Chloe has always been the one obsessed by Clark and his secret…. From the start, betrayed him, Just by selfishness and her own ego and played the victim …..Strangely, many conveniently forget this 🙄
It's almost like Chloe and Lex had a Clark obsession competition.
Thanks for being you and for all you do. TGFTVW ❤🙏
TGFTVW ❤
Will you guys ever be able to interview Sam or Allison? Also love to see Tom’s reactions when he loses ‘Ryan’s Favorite Scene’ points to Rosey 🤣
Michael's commercial voice is on point
Fun fact: this episode aired on my 10th birthday 😁. I like this one quite a bit. It was interesting to show what a reporter like Chloe would do if they had the ability to get the truth out of people. We got some nice truth reveal scenes from Lana, Pete, Lionel and Lex. My biggest complaint in this one is the big needle to the heart. That never made any sense to me. But overall, I’m giving this episode a solid 🌹. The next episode is one of Smallville’s greatest. Can’t wait!

Love how competitive Rosie gets 😂
Did a rewatch of Truth this morning to refresh my memory. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this episode!!! Thank you for blessing us with this amazing podcast week after week ❤ Happy Talk Ville Wednesday ❤☄️🌽
lol I was doing a re-watch for the podcast episode by episode, but once I got caught up to the podcast a couple weeks ago I couldn't stop and ended up finishing the entire series! 😂
so now, I'm watching these new ep again in the morning to be fresh for the new podcasts 🤣 smh lol 😂 it's a good thing this show is so much fun to watch lolol

46:16 "If I can get the truth to people, I'd interview my mom and dad..." Look at Ryan's face hahaha
Thanks so much for answering my question! LOVED the fancy eye contact, it worked so well. Truth was a fun episode, awesome podcast, thank you again!!
I love this episode. it has a lot of funny moments with Clark’s reaction of people telling some of his secrets
Great episode! Chloe’s entrance at the beginning of the episode was incredible. I felt like her character has changed a lot at this point; she’s much more assertive now! Also has she ever made a trip to Smallville medical that didn’t result in her running into a Luthor? Maybe just invest in a jacket with a hidden mic from now on 😂
TGI Wednesday!!!!! Thank you for another good episode!!! This is a good one but the next one will be so great!! Can’t wait!!! Love you guys!!!
I love Chloe and her character development through the series ❤
Chloe was my favorite female character from the start.
🌹🌹Great episode, it was good for Chloe to understand that the truth could be painful and how not everything was her business.
So fascinating to see these characters just matter-of-factly share the truth.
Rosie just got back from the gym, his arms are pumped :D
We're so close to Season 4!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!!!
This was Drew Z Greenberg's 3rd episode. He wrote Slumber and co-wrote Hereafter. He worked with Steven DeKnight on Buffy. He was on one season between Firefly and The OC.
I guess the idea was that the kryptonite is what made it not work on Clark.
DAMN RYAN hahaha that was nice, really love when he enters the conversation and that sarcastic comment was gold haha, love how their personal dynamics are evolving and theyre getting more comfortable with each other ❤❤
Am I the only one who thinks Michael looks incredible for his age?
I need his skin routine and diet to start ASAP
He is a smoker, maybe genetics?
"My mother doesn't deserve to be in Jail!" 😁 I say this quote every now and then randomly hahaha
So talking about Lex. Michael, your Lex is my favorite. I have been watching Superman and Lois, and I still like yours better. Suttle is scarier than brute force.
I don’t mean to rag on the actor, but the kid running Chloe off the road… I laughed OUT LOUD when he yelled: “My mom doesn’t deserve to be in jail!”😆
1) All hail The Algorithm for this recommendation!
2) Tom and Michael's portrayals of the characters were amazing! I was on the outer edge of the target audience at the time (30ish) and the writing on WB shows was.... not written for someone like me, I suspect. But I watched the show because Lex and Clark actually seemed like peoople I would want to spend time with. They really stood out amongst the rest of the cast to me.
It was around this episode that my life had some major changes and TV was not a part of that path. I actually found myself wondering how these two guys were doing; almost like moving away from friends.
I really appreciate the time and effort you guys put in to breathing life into those characters so well that I actually cared what happened to them!
Thanks for S03E18! 🥂🥂🍻🍻
Perfect timing, I just poured my coffee ☕ Can't wait to watch!!!
Another one of my favorites. Love the Podcast and love you guys ❤❤❤
This was a great character driven episode. It deserves at least a rose, guys. *Waggin my finger*
The guy screaming “my mom doesn’t deserve to go to jail” while trying to kill Chloe makes me laugh every time😂😂
Excited for season 4 commentary. Always liked that season.
Interesting episode with many “truths”being revealed which added a different dimension to the storyline. Loved the chat between you three especially the complete euphoria from Michael when he won Ryan’s favourite scene🤩
truth telling dynamic was refreshing
Truth reveals us lots of things about the characters with masterful scenes !! 💖💖👍 Awesome TalkVille !!💛💛💛
Thank you, gentlemen, for your cooperation. It was cool.
Best regards, from Kaliningrad.
Lots of fun on this one; the guys never disappoint
"Security at LuthorCorp is non-existent." Tom's sipping the Truth Tea 🫖 and spilled some 🤭
This was always one of my favorite episodes!
Love the show as much as I loved the series. ❤
Always enjoyable ! That’s the truth!
i love this episode. one of the coolest and most dangerous powers to have, this.
I would buy a "hopped up on the K" shirt 😆
I actually got to prep for this Episode yesterday.
Excellent work
Awesome podcast again guys !!Definitely loved the look on Tom's face when truths we're revealed I gave this episode 1 🌹
The show is really good at displaying how Lex ultimately considers himself the good guy, who is willing to do what others won't for the greater good, and how that is the classic "the road to hell was paved with good intentions".
Michael really had me cracking this episode. “He has a small weiner. I’m a journalist” 😂Love this podcast. Fingers crossed for Season 4
Oh yeah that time again bring it on, love you guys you rock as always, how can we not dig you. proud to be patron, so hope get to meet you. feel for Clark everyone wants to know where he comes from, with it being green truth stuff like kryptonite was wonder why didn't affect Clark? found Lionel ruthless in this, feel for Pete when he says how he feels bout Chloe, had tears in my eyes when truth comes out all poor lex wants is for his dad to love him just wanted to hug him. yeah definitely good job, I felt for Chloe in a way as she feels hurt Clark is keeping stuff from her and when Lana told Chloe she didn't trust her.
There are so many good moments in this episode and the look on Clark's face when he witnesses the revelation of Pete's love for Chloe and the kiss, is precious😄❤️. It always hits me and makes me smile every time🙂. Thank you so much guys Tom, Michael, Ryan and all the guys behind the scenes for another great episode of Talk Ville. Love you.❤️❤️❤️
Best podcast, ever! :)
Clark hitting Chloe with the injection into her heart was so PULP FICTION, which I loved the Easter egg nods to going film tv tropes used but not too obvious or egregiously in this show
Bwaaahhh😝🤪SPIT TAKe almost inhaled some juice when Ryan said "Yeah is there fruit sitting and John goes to grab it"🤣
Chole new limited power I love how because him being a Kryptonian has no effect on him👍 And oh man John Glover snaps into Dark Lionel Luthor was Powerful! And that look he gave Chole oh boy, And The Lex Luthor truth all he wants is hes Father's love heart breaking 😢 Because you know where it's going later, Loved seeing the Bridge from the Pilot again and Clark just throwing that Truck awesome! Not a bad episode and As always Thanks guy's as always ❤️💙🤘🌹
Love these
"Just listen, for one goddamn second" - Ryan to Michael who was about to interrupt him like always.
THANK YOU RYAN
I've been waiting for "Memoria" since y'all started this podcast. Cannot WAIT.
Shoutout to Erin for calling that out so true!!!
ive been binging smallville now on season 4 and the amount of effort that went into this show episode to episode was more than you see in big movies nowadays its kind of wild.
The bit where Michael did an impression of Chloe in high school was hilarious
