Move over Aubrey Plaza, because Emily Dinsmore is back this week as we revisit Smallville Season 3 Episode 21: FORSAKEN!

Michael talks about the emotion of the final basketball scene between Clark and Pete, while Tom speculates on the departure and what Sam’s future on the show could have been.

FORSAKEN (S3E21) Saying Goodbye to Sam, Stealing Hearts & Betraying Your Father #smallville #talkville #season3 - Zábava
Lana leaving because she doesn't know Clark's secret, but Pete leaving because he knows Clark's secret. So sad😢
You really felt the emotion from Sam not wanting to leave the show. He was such a pivotal part of the series and Clark's early development into a hero.
SO MUCH MORE they could have done w Sam! such a shame, they under utilized him from the beginning smh
I agree with Tom, promoting Chloe from non love interest to sidekick is a better fit, and there just wasn't enough to do with Sam.
i hope we get jensen and erica to guest star next season and get jon schnider more often since he only has 2 seasons left
but he (John) guest starred in a lot of other seasons
They never gave Pete anything to do. He clearly put real effort into his acting. It’s a shame they couldn’t find more interesting stuff for his character to do so they just wrote him off.
his scenes were always top notch
Tom said Clark can't walk through walks unlike Emily. Clark can walk through walls but unlike when Emily does it, the walls just won't be there anymore. 😂
😂😂😂
The Emily growing thing was a foreshadowing of the Lex clone later in the series as a clone grows much faster; that's what I think lol
Yep
interesting. need to remember that then
@@TalkVillePodcast Tell Michael I am a fan of HIS acting in everything he is in and that he is my hero in so far as his advice saved my life :)
I like him, great guy, from Ireland :)
Awesome stuff. One more S3 episode to go.... but who else is super excited for S4???? the gang and I here are pumped!!! LETS GOOO!!!!
omg I CAN'T WAIT til we get to Lois! and I really really really hope they bring Erica Durance for the 1st podcast of S4 🤗🤗🤗
can't wait. one more episode. a big one
Yeah, gosh we need Lois!! ❤
I loved hearing that insight from Tom about the loft scene with Clarke and Lana. I thought it was so beautifully acted by both Kristin and Tom. Kristin's reaction in that moment was so perfect and you truly felt the emotion. The relationship between Clarke and Lana (even with their will they won't they arc) gave so much heart to the show.
The director side of Tom really came out strong today! Love it!
😜😜😜
I thought his thinking was a bit rigid on the scare scene to be honest though haha. Yes, low angle shots and slow zooms are classic scary camera moves - or they can also be played out if you ALWAYS do it that way. The scene was shot fine, the main problem is this was a dumb storyline and the scene was dragged out (possibly also the director's fault but not a camera problem).
I always imagined that Clark would super speed to Wichita on the weekends to see his friend.
Me too.
That's actually awesome haha. Now Iim just laughing at the idea of the show writing it in but still not actually filming it so it's just constant minor mentions of Wichita in the Kent house.
The scene with Lex saving Pete from FBI Agent Loder was a great scene. Loved how Lex told Pete that he was a good friend. Especially for Clark. I always got the sense in that moment how much Lex cared for Pete as well as Clark. Honestly makes it sadder when Lex turns later in the series.
omg yes! lol last night when I was watching it to prep for the podcast I wanted to like make a meme or something for Michael cuz he says in literally every convention and interview how it's Clark's fault Lex turns evil cuz it drove him crazy not knowing the truth! lol wanna be like SEE even Lex knew Clark shouldn't tell him 😂😂😂
and also so so heartbreaking cuz I think in retrospect S3 is the end for Lex, by S4 he's sealed his fate to be evil (even though we still have hope for him in S5) so seeing how he really was genuinely trying to be a good friend and an honest person just makes his later choices to embrace being the villain much more tragic.
Which makes it weird in season 7 when Pete still hates Lex
@@asyouwish3636 Absolutely, I always held out hope for Lex to still be good even up through season 5.
@@ninjanibba4259 Yes, it does. You'd think Pete would have had a little respect for Lex after moments like this.
I am just buzzing with excitement, because it's one more episode and then we'll finally get to LOIS, THE QUEEN! I've been waiting for this for 3 seasons lol, I *need* the podcast to reach the 4th season 😂
I’m desperately hoping that Erica will hop on here for some episodes. She was just beyond special as Lois Lane, no-one comes close.
I need it to reach 5 and 6, especially how they rank things in the podcast and the shows trajectory changes after 4, it won’t be so easy to find Ryan’s favorite scene when a bunch of scenes are part of the larger stories
Same here, and I can’t believe it is about to happen! We need Lois!!
Michael, the closing of the eyes after Lionel is taken away. Just brilliant acting. Reflected Lex's relief after a battle he thought he wouldn't win.
Damn, I can’t believe I didn’t know about Talkville. I binged watched every Talkville episode for a week and a half straight and I’m finally caught up!! I’m so pumped to have Smallville back in my life! #alwaysholdontosmallville #handblast!
This episode had a lot of good things. Was great to see Emily Dinsmore again as an older girl. Really enjoyed seeing Pete and Clark shooting hoops, hadn't seen that in some time. The scene of Emily going through the wall of water during the confrontation with Clark was well done and still holds up. Jonathan's heart to heart regarding Lana was another great father/son moment between them. Pete's farewell to Clark was so heartfelt. Really felt for both Clark and Pete. How hard it was for both to say goodbye and how much they didn't want to. The loft scene with Clark and Lana was a very sweet, tender moment as well. Happy Wednesday guys!!😀🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
yeah alot of great points in this ep.
I think I originally had given up hope for Clark and Lana by the middle of S3 after the horse trampling and the up and down w Adam etc but after re-watch I get it. plus after all the introspection from the podcast, it still stings but I'm alot more forgiving of the back and forth now. it is what it is lol plus... it drove for the Clark/Lois love story to be the best of superman and one of the best of all TV couples
@@asyouwish3636 Yeah, I always continued to have hope for Clark/Lana. Really wanted Lana to have remained a part of Clark's life even up to season 9/10. He definitely could have used her support in those seasons.
@nickhydier1201 yup! they could have had them be a great couple in HS, and S4-5 could have seen them navigate the aftermath of breaking up and becoming friends. could have make for natural conflict instead of the forced drama we got in S6 and the dumpster fire of S7. but it is what it is... still a great show despite the few frustrations here and there
I was hoping to see Sam on as a special guest. Each character in Smallville had a special place in Clark developing into Superman. I understand why this decision had to be made but it was always nice for Clark to have a friend who KNEW his secret and he could talk to about things that he couldn't do with others.
I think Rosey has a point, Clark definitely whispered something to Lana I think it was… “Damn, who’s that?”
hahah if only
"I'm sorry Clark..."
How Sam delivered that line was sad and hilarious at the same time for me. But no more "Damn, who's that"... the end of an era
Ryan, it's not the last basketball scene with Pete! In season 7 hero, they play basketball
It's the last for Ryan who hasn't seen that and of Pete being on kind of regularly. 😅
Well, see ya Pete. It's a real shame actor didn't join podcast even though guys tried reaching him few times
Maybe they can convince him to come in for the episode he guest starred in Season 7.
@@spencergsmith heh, we will find out in 2-3 years since now :D. I will definetly write a comment then :D.
They are being nice on air but for years he was notoriously a piece of shit and burnt tons of bridges. So im not shocked he didnt join the podcast
Didn't the actor get into some legal trouble and I seem to remember reading something about him making an adult movie with a girlfriend or something? Lol
@@MKF30
Yes
This episode was bittersweet, especially with this being Pete's last episode. When I first saw it I actually thought Clark would tell Lana, but to protect her he didn't. I always loved Pete on the show and I thought he was a great addition. Thanks again guys ❤️
Pete deserved better.
"Pete's last episode."
(Yoda voice) No. There is another.
Watching Pete leave was just as heartbreaking to watch today, as it was back in the day 😢
YESSS 💔 and he really crushed his last scene! 👏
18:40 Ryan's reaction to Rosey's dad joke 😂
I didn't catch it because I was howling with laughter 😁
Tom should have had a chance to guess Ryan's favorite scene after he disclosed the three options. What a good sport.
Chef’s kiss for the summary writing and Rosey’s read of, “Lionel exposes the bald rat’s wire”
Keeping a secret like Clark’s would be a heavy burden. I am glad that Pete admitted that. I am glad that he didn’t tell Lana as well.
Great scene, perfect portrayal of saying goodbye to a friend. Its not clarks fault, its just pete couldn't handle the enormity of the secret. Pete was a great friend. Great acting Sam
😂 Tom with The Indiana Jones reference killed me haha, I love how the hint at Cloning that Lex will pick up from he's Father down the road, The slow motion of Emily Getting taken care of with Water in that Fight with Clark was awesome!, Gowd That ending scene with Lionel Luthor and That Cold line talks about Judas to Lex! John Glover Brilliant!👏 and yup Sam's Final episode for this onion ninjas Amazing moment with Clark and Pete hugging Sam Jones Proformace and Tom Welling killed it!😢 In Honor of Pete "Damn Who's That?!" Thanks Guy's ❤️💙 Rose in a half for Me 🌹🤘
I like how Tom was like "I said my favorite scene, thats that" 🤣. It was a strong one for sure.
The final scene of Forsaken, the scene in which Clark is forsaken by Pete his best friend, his brother, is so beautiful, sad, deep and strongly emotional and you can see it clearly in Clark's dazed, frozen and hurt look (Tom's sad, empty eyes staring into the distance are priceless) and in Pete's intense and pained look. I always watch this scene with great emotion as I feel the same feeling of abandonment in Clark and the same conflicted pain in Pete. Hats off to Tom and Sam for their superb performance and for conveying so much emotion not only with words but especially with their eyes. With Pete's exit, another chapter of Clark's adolescence ends, opening up more and more to the difficult and painful path that Clark is facing step by step to become the greatest Superhero of all time.
And furthermore, due to what happened to Pete, Clark is forced once again to give up on opening up to Lana.
Thank you so much guys for another great episode of Talk Ville. I love you.❤❤❤
Love this podcast and y’all. It was so sad that this was Pete’s last episode. Sam did such a great job in this role. I definitely agree with Tom about Chole being more confident. One of my favorite lines was when Pete referred to Lex as Uncle Fester. A great Adams Family reference. The line were Jonathan says that he trusts Clark’s judgement but not his own was powerful. When Chole reveals to Lex that she has the voice mail I thought that was a great scene. One thing I noticed when Emily kills her dad you see the blood, but the other guy no blood. I like how they explained the walking through walls thing. When realize that Lionel was using Lex as a pawn this whole time that was powerful. When Lex saved Pete that was a great scene. When Lex brought his father down you could definitely see the pain on his face. So many powerful performances. Best podcast ever!!
love Sam. damn whos that

Australians go up at the end of their sentences (inflection) and it really cheeses me off. Infuriatingly, a lot of Americans and British have adopted that style of speaking. Gr! It’s so annoying. My accent is South African and the pace of my speech has adapted to fit in but the pitch and diction have remained unchanged which is why I stick out like a sore thumb.

What doesn’t make sense to me is how the water tower actually fell fast enough to affect Emily. She’s running at the speed of light, and the tower just fell at normal speed.
Not the speed of light or she'd time travel, even Flash or Impulse as its called on this, would not reach light speed until later. Clark runs at the speed of sound, Emily a bit less. Clark hit the tower ages before she reached it.
Sam leaving for Jensen just proves they would never stop the love triangles
U agree with Tom on how frustrating it is that Emily kinda just knows all the powers she has and how to use them at instant. That carries through a whole series, like whenever someone takes Clarks powers they just know everything and how to use it and how to control it, but we had like the whole episode build ups on how Clark managed to get control and to learn how to use every power he has. It lacks consistency really. All in all 1.5 roses for this one
Sigh, I hoped you guys would have Sam Jones as a guest for this one! Pete had a very emotional send off (kudos to both Sam and Tom for the acting!) and he won't be back for 3.5 years.
At least call him up when TalkVille reached Hero in 2025, lol.
I know they have been trying.. I believe Sam is shooting something right now .
8:40 Tom must be Harrison ford fan with the object reference treasure replica that Indy managed to get for at museum until Beloq got surrounded and forced too surrender it after danger to another by armed group with bow and arrows😂
This was a great episode. I really felt that Pete was collateral damage. It felt like it was a Pete episode as well. Pete was collateral damage from his parents, Lionel's battle to figure out what is going on with Clark, and Pete not wanting to accidentally betray Clark. Sam's acting was on full display in this episode. Annette and John's acting was on point as usual and Allison's acting was great as well. I liked the special effects with the water against Emily. I had tears in my eyes when Pete said he couldn't forgive himself if he betrayed Clark's secret and how hard it was keeping that secret. Sam's goodbye scene was my favorite scene. This is a strong 1 1/2 roses episode. (I think Emily died because she "disappeared" according to Lionel.)
I’m stoked for Season 4 next year.
It’s got some crazy good stuff in it along with just 🦇 💩 insane stuff as well!
cant wait
18:47 Ryan 😂😂
Both becoming nerds better late then never guys ❤ that scene between Pete and Clark at the end so good he deserved so much more he will come back in a later season episode at least that water tower scene was so good for the time🌹
The emotions Pete showed with Clark at the end made me cry 🥺😢 that was hard to see on both ends, Pete knowing he had to leave and Clark feeling the loss because of his secret. Definitely see why he changed his mind with Lana.
I love how Michael just has NO CLUE what's happening on the show 😂😂
He always mentions/assumes things that don't happen hahahaah
Even if it was just to explain away the new actress, Emily suddenly aging to an adult works well with the later plotlines involving cloning. We see early on that they can clone people and age the clones all the way to adulthood in a matter of months, so when it happens later, it makes sense.
Forsaken is one of those episodes that could be easily forgettable if it wasn't for those pivotal scenes with Pete leaving and Lex having Lionel arrested, which is why it's a good penultimate episode and not a sub-par one. Pete's last scene with Clark was so sad, you could tell it was hard for him but if he stayed he was terrified of accidentally slipping up. And the way he got beaten for knowing Clark's secret told him how dangerous it was. It also told Clark how dangerous it was for anyone to keep his secret, which is why he decided to not tell Lana after all. He didn't want Lana to have that burden and definitely didn't want to put her in that same kind of danger. He also took Lex's advice and decides to let her go to Paris. It was sad for Clark having two people he cares about leaving him. I get why Tom had issues with Emily Dinsmore's powers of going through walls, but I'm with Micheal, I think sometimes you gotta continue with suspension of disbelief. Especially with shows like Smallville. Not everything is going to make sense. I did like Tom's problem with the directing, as much as he respected Terrance O'Hara, it shows his knowledge of directing and how good of a director he is. I look forward to when we get to the episodes of which Tom directed.
It is based on a comic book, it is not supposed to make any sense, just fun fantasy stuff.
@@joankeys1087 Yes, but some sense of realism needs to be translated into turning a comic book into a live action TV show or movie.
@@joankeys1087 Fantasy with no logic at all is just random crap happening. Gotta have some consistency. Honestly they can make up any powers they want since a conceit of the show is people get powers, it was just weird they made up even more random powers for a preexisting character that nobody was that attached to in the first place.
It was sad to see Pete leave. But his exit was powerful. Tom did an outstanding job, as always. The acting of Michael and both John's was outstanding, as well. I love the show and the podcast. Keep it up. Love you guys.
“It is what it is, folks. It’s Smallville!” - Michael Rosenbaum 🤣🤣💯👍🏼

Thank you Tom for the 'lighting gem' regarding Lex by the water.

Clark: *whispers to Lana*
"Lex Luthor is circumcised... don't ask how I know that."
Damn 2.5 rose swing from Rosey! Didn’t think that’d be possible!
The water tower would have to superspeed down to hit her as they were superspeeding. ;)

In the Superman comics, Pete is Clark's "Chloe" (Chloe doesn't exist in the original comics). Pete learns Clark's identity in high school and helps him, secretly, through and after finishing school. He even helps create the Justice League, eventually. I would have loved to see Pete do that on the show - help Clark make saves, etc. As much as I loved Chloe, her character was basically a mashup of comic book Pete (sidekick) and comic book Lana (high school reporter who suspects Clark is super powered). I felt sad when Sam Jones left, knowing he never got to play the sidekick role to its fullest.
RIGHT! we got an underutilized Pete, and WAY TOO MUCH Chloe. like in later seasons, there's a few random eps where her screen time is more than Clark's! 🤯 plus nearly all of her character development is a plot point for Clark or byproduct of another character's growth...sigh. . .they needed to dial her down and pass it towards Pete. or at least found a balance. idk 🤷♀️
THIS. I get shouted down so often when I put forward this angle, but the inclusion of Chloe permanently altered Pete, Lana, and Jimmy going forward. Parts of each of them was borrowed to make up Chloe.
@Melissa.Garrett wow you're right! and it was totally not worth it cuz she was horrible for majority of the series. nothing personal against the actress but if Erica had played her she DEF could have turned into Lois or even would have made sense as a side kick. but Chloe was just redundant most of the time. smh
As much I liked Allison as Chloe before (which never exist in comics) but with the news of her arrest feels altered when watching her character and facial express just odd and only what bothers me of Chloe’s later on after knowing the truth and finally supports on Clark’s side but yet with having too keep things from him of lack of principles that never had showed before and also with gaslights unfairing who can be annoying at times from in episodes
I didn't mean to make it sound like I wanted Chloe off the show. I liked her character, and as a writer, I get why they created her. A smart, spunky, cute female character is more versatile. She can be used (as she was) as the third point in a love triangle, as a damsel in distress, as a woman scorned, a woman struggling with being in the perpetual friend zone, etc, etc. I'm not begrudging them Chloe. I only meant to point out that her presence took depth away from both Pete and Lana, and it felt like Sam Jones got the raw end of that deal. There was a lot of potential for him as a character that he didn't get to play.
This episode is a pivotal one and important with the departure of Pete and Sam from Smallville !❤❤ the return of Emily and overall the arrestation of Lionel !😑❤❤ Great and hilarious TalkVille, thank you so much Michael, Tom and Ryan !! 💙❤💖
19:48 “it couldn’t have been easy to light yahyou.” I was cracking up for some reason 😂
TGI Wednesday! Can’t belive we are almost in season finale and that we are saying goodbye to our friend Pete Ross. Love you guys thank you for another amazing episode
yeah buddy!
Ryan deserves a spot on the Logo :)!
Tom says Clark can’t pass through wall but he actually can…on an episode of Lois and Clark season 3 episode 6 Clark vibrates his molecules fast enough to phase through a glass cage similar to the one used in this episode…
Remember kids, superpowers are anything you want them to be!
She was able to phase thru water, but she was only able to hold it together for a few feet before being knocked out by the exertion.
I've got some help for Ryan. Lana's parents weren't divorced, they were killed in the pilot. Of course if Mr. Lang had found out that Lana was not his daughter who knows? As far as Clark and Pete always playing basketball, Kansas is one of those states like Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina where basketball is fully ingrained in the kids growing up. In all these states you'll find fierce loyalty to both men's and women's college basketball teams as well as hoops in rural, suburban, and urban neighborhoods. Michael should be aware of this having grown up in Indiana and having gone to Western Kentucky University.
A good episode, changing up the relationship dynamics among all the characters. Sad goodbye to Sam Jones as Pete, who always brought heart into all the weird.
I felt bad for Sam throughout Smallville. Considering that Whitney looked like comic book Pete (and even had a relationship with Lana) you would think the creators would have combined Pete and Whitney. Of course, Sam got more seasons but without much to do. Sam himself has stories for sure. Get it?
They should have just follow the comics.
I wish Sam would have stayed.Petes departure was a real shock
lmao!
Clark whispers to lana
'I just super farted"
It's tough losing Sam . But, it opens up room for Erica's Lois Lane to be Clark's friend for the next few seasons before transitioning into a couple. Erica injects some much needed humor into the show and creates a fun dynamic even if the writing in season 4 isn't as strong as season 3.
going to miss him for sure
Loder was not a detective! He was an FBI agent! Damn, who's that!😂
That's a detective
For a rich guy it's weird how Lionel does everything by himself. needs to talk to Chloe? he's like "I won't call, I won't send someone else to talk with her, no no... I will go to the school myself!" and he does it so many times
He can’t trust anybody else with the not-so-legal stuff.
I think he likes to get personally involved with things and people he finds interesting (or important/dangerous to himself). He and Chloe have quite a history now. I think he must admire her resourcefulness, willingness to defy him, and occasional ruthlessness a bit, in a condescending sort of "you are somewhat more than a minor nuisance to me" way.
Loved Clark blasting down the water tower, thought it was a creative effect. But when you stop to think about it, if two people are moving at hundreds, if not thousands of miles an hour - how did the tower fall fast enough to get Emily? Gravity was working at super speed too apparently...
I think Pete had to go (unfortunately for Sam and the fans!) but Clark losing his buddy sets up the isolation and loneliness that Clark feels in future episodes. The Clark/Lex dynamic wouldn’t be as effective in showing the loss of friendship if Clark had his buddy Pete to soften the blow.
That’s an interesting point, I hadn’t thought of it in those terms before. While I’m sure there were probably practical/monetary reasons for them writing Pete out as well, it certainly did add to the idea of Clark’s isolation and his fear of everyone eventually leaving him. Very well spotted!
🌹🌹nice podcast today! loving all of Tom's interjections lol ❤️ the basketball-blocking, his notes about building suspension... and of course the Lionel/Lex scene was so great, really strong performances.
Tom's directing notes are always great and you can see it in the eps that he directs, they are really strong and jam packed w events and info and action(LOVE S7 Apocalypse among others). . . he's right that it could have been portrayed better about Emily's new phasing power - like was it new? there needed to be just a little more exposition or like Tom says just a diff/tighter way of shooting it.
sidenote: awesome throwback reference to Blame it on Rio! 😃 such an 80s flick 🤣
Loved watching tom welling on screen. I can just watch him talking for hours. 😊
Whenever a character gets kidnapped and stuck in a room, like Lana in this episode, I always think, where do they poop?
Chloes new confidence is preparing her for s4 when she learns clarks secret and becomes the best sidekick ever!! She knows for awhile before clark tells her ans helps him whej he gets amnesia to not reveal his secret shes just the best!
Goodbye Sam Jones III 😞 I like this one. Emily is creepy, but in an entertaining way. Some great stuff with Lex and his dad. Lionel’s finally being brought to justice. I really felt for Pete man. He definitely had to carry a big burden keeping Clark’s secret. And it ultimately lead to him leaving and Clark wanting to hold back from telling Lana his secret. It’s definitely not easy being Clark and knowing his secret. I’m giving this one a rose 🌹. The season 3 finale is one of the best finale’s of the series IMO, can’t wait for next week!

They explain later in season 4 during Alicia's return that they kept her from using her teleportation powers to escape belle reeve by giving her a specially designed bracelet that releases trace amounts of lead into her blood stream. Assuming that emily shares the same weakness phasing through lead, I would imagine they would have implemented similar technology for her
They also mention Emily was heavily sedated. They seem to have missed the point it wasn't actually Emily who escaped, it was Lionel destroying evidence of crazy mad scientist crap he funds.
We almost there!! Season 4 first introduction for Lois lane let’s go!! Erica durance guest star !!
You guys are the best, thank you for doing this!!
😂🤣😂😂as a fan of pun jokes, testing the waters had me lmao
Also 1st episode in season 4 Tom and Micheal are both so muscular! WOW! Just saying
Great season and always love the Wednesday morning streams!
Thanks for the joy you bring and all you do. Feel better soon Tom❤. TGFTVW 🙏.
You guys are awesome, looking forward to next week's episode! :)
Watching this while doing cardio. Multitasking Lol 😅
Clark can walk through walls, just in a different way.
Clark whispers: "I'm so sorry."
My favorite part of this episode was the ending scene where Lionel is arrested. Very intense scene between Lex and Lionel.
Also, farewell Pete.
I don’t think I became fond of his character until this podcast.
So, thanks Talkville!
Another great podcast- good episode with great performances 🌹🌹
Great week with some insightful and interesting discussions this was a very entertaining episode. Thanks for all that you do🤩
How does no one talk about how Pete was suppose to be married to Lana Lang in the comics? Surely there would of been a lot of material there to atleast bring him back for building that storyline…wonder why the writers didn’t think this would be interesting. I hoped that when they brought Pete back in season 7 that they atleast might hint at something between him and Lana..
Awesone video ! Love you guys from Brazil !!!❤❤
This pod calms me I love it
Another fantastic episode, you guys are amazing and I love re-watching Smallville and seeing your takes on everything.
Great episode. I always enjoy the analysis on the episode. The best thing about Wednesdays. ❤
17:02 LOLOL!! I just imagined Clark doing that in Looney Tunes fashion, just busting through and leaving a perfectly Clark-shaped hole, complete with cartoon sound effects.
One of my favorite parts was Clark vs Emily at the end where they are using super Speed. I thought it was clever for Clark to use heat vision (while they were both in “Clark time”) to shoot past her to hit the water towers. This allowed water to hit Emily who doenst have super durability like Clark does.! Nice way to use other established powers!
It's generally really cool, but Emily should be long gone by the time the water tower even hits the ground considering its regular movement. It would've been better if Clark jumped to the water tower to pull it down from the front, while shooting heat vision as he jumped.
@@tornadochaser2457 like that also has a problem of Clark having his running speed to actually pass Emily to do this. (which based on the frames was shown he was pretty much the same speed as Emily). either way these are just nitpicks on a relatively cool ending.
@@redlox2 Clark didn't run passed Emily. I also consider my comment a legitimate flaw, not a nitpick.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on season 4 episode 5, 6 and 7. Run, Transference and Jinx. There is an amazing Father, Son moment between Clark and Jonathan in Jinx.
loved this season and can't wait for season 4!! ❤
Thanks for S03E21! 🥂🥂🍻🍻
Love the show. Keep it going dudes.
Bring Sam please!!!
