In this stellar episode with former R&AW Chief Vikram Sood, he talks about the evolution of RAW from the intelligence bureau, the gathering of information on adversaries, the 1962 Chinese invasion, and the 1965 Pakistani invasion. It was a true pleasure to host him on AJIO Presents The Ranveer Show.
We also discuss the formation of RAW, its success in the 1971 war with Pakistan over Bangladesh, and its intelligence operations in Bangladesh.
The conversation also touches on the misconception of RAW by the public, and how RAW only deals with external threats. Hope you enjoy this one.

intriguing! which college?
I have not seen any other media person having a conversation with so many intellectual people across...hats off...to Ranveer ❤❤❤
Haan even I like his video, but bhai overreact bahot krta h, sometimes I feel In place of ranveer there was someone else, but ab woh uska show he toh woh hi rahega..
The sound he makes while speaking English is so irritating, look at how guest speaks
.
I know it takes alot of efforts to make such podcast, i appreciate ranveer, but they get speak it irritating
You heard of Joe Rogan? Maybe in India, sure, but in the world, this kid has no influence and he seems very slow due to his indoctrination with propaganda he is being fed. I guess no one noticed when he said "we will talk about whatever that be shared on INDIAN internet" so definitely the internet is sensored in India. Only shows that they can't or never will really have the whole truth. Nothing is inspiring about talking about stuff leaked on Wiki leaks years ago. India is just getting this news? Basically india will never know about their political issues if censored till maybe 50 years from now? Just like this guy came to "expose" the secrets that was stories of 40 years ago.
when he said "we will get our own" that's called SWAG and an mindblowing inside information.. Jai Hind sir
This is like a ASMR podcast. You can tell this man is trained in making people feel that a lot of information is being given to them while not actually giving anything at all. The pace at which he talks isn't too slow, but is slow enough to make us feel that this is a proper length podcast while if you take a wordcount of how many words were spoken by him, it would be a lot less than the other guest that come and speak for the same amount of time. Also the ability to force a tangent in a conversation in a direction he wants it to move while not even intending to do so is epic.
Nice analysis
Consider his age. Old is Gold
Rightly analysed. I too sensed he isn’t giving anything. Maybe, Ranveer could not probe him enough.
@@bucksman I think not giving much info and concealed talking is part of his personality now. What do you expect from R&AW chief ?
Exactly... That's how they were trained....

I noticed that too.. Show that even though he's such a big man.. Still he cares abt the common man 👍
Jai hind sir ..we as a soldier standing on zero line protecting our mother land are the most effected people by the intelligence we get from gathered by people like you ... We are literally blind with you guys ... We must appreciate people like you ...
first youtubers, then polymaths, then monks, then army generals, then foreign diplomats and with a flavor of actors and actresses and historians and therapists and lawyers, to now bringing in international diplomats, people working in PMO's office and now former R&AW chiefs, BeerBiceps has come a long way from being a simp podcaster to a professional
Yeah but Ranveer really needs to grow his skillset as a host at the same pace as the growing maturity of his guests.
Now a days it's not in sync and he acts like an immature teenager infront of them.

Lol why so serious

Sood's point about narratives is totally on point.
