    Please feel free to leave any questions you have here and I’ll get through them as soon as I can, thank you so much for watching for 15 years it is truly appreciated :-)

    Reading comments that this was previously paid material. This is the best quality pentatonic lesson that is freely available on youtube as of it's upload. I wish I had this when I first started learning them but still learned a thing or two from this video. Excellent work can't wait to see more.

    I've played for quite a while, and i don't think i've actually learned anything new for a few years now. I think i'll do a deep-dive with this series and pick up some more skills. See if i can invoke the same practice-discipline as i could when i was a teenager!

    Buying this course was one of the best things I did. I know some who bought it might be frustrated that its now available free on here, but I'm glad it gets to reach a wider audience. I urge everyone to follow this series because its great. Share the knowledge and share the love guys✌🤘

      Hi Lewis, I really appreciate this - yes I released this about a year ago as a paid course, as you know it also came with other parts like backing tracks et cetera. I decided it was time to give it away for free since it had run its course, but also as a thank you to the many people who have supported me over the past 15 years. Thanks for your support, I really appreciate you being here :-)

    Your 4 2-note "chord" progression:
    The second one is major (contains C#)
    That's Major scale.
    But you're teaching pentatonic minor 1st position scale...no C#.
    Right?

    • @RobChappers
      @RobChappers  Před 3 lety +1

      Blues is all about the ambiguity between major and minor, you’ll find routinely blues or even rock musicians will take a minor third and nudge it towards a major third. It’s more than just a passing note it is a stylistic quotation that is integral to blues rock. Hope that helped :-)
