I've played for quite a while, and i don't think i've actually learned anything new for a few years now. I think i'll do a deep-dive with this series and pick up some more skills. See if i can invoke the same practice-discipline as i could when i was a teenager!

There's already a book called The Guitar Grimoire. I don't know if you'd get into copyright/trademark troubles, or whether guitar->guitarist is far enough removed.

Similar, no I wrote this about 12 years ago, don’t really listen to much deep purple and there is one big difference - their riff is much better than mine LOL! :-)
Your 4 2-note "chord" progression:
The second one is major (contains C#)
That's Major scale.
But you're teaching pentatonic minor 1st position scale...no C#.
Right?
Blues is all about the ambiguity between major and minor, you’ll find routinely blues or even rock musicians will take a minor third and nudge it towards a major third. It’s more than just a passing note it is a stylistic quotation that is integral to blues rock. Hope that helped :-)
