That was a great review, dude. Covered all the bases like a champ. As soon as you were about to spray the second shot on your hand at the beginning of the video, suddenly I had Dave Chappelle's voice in my head screaming "DON'T DO IT!!!" as if you could hear me! lol
I love Red Tobacco so much because of how it smells but also the potency. If I'm gonna be outdoors, holy fuck....I'm covered eaaasssyyy. If I'm indoors, this is one of very...very few fragrances where if someone said "spray this 1-2 times max"...I'd actually agree. This bottle will last long after I'm in the dirt! lol

Red Tobacco by Mancera = MASTERPIECE
I own the original batch of 2017, so I can’t speak for recent batches, considering few talks of alleged reformulations. As far as I’m concerned, it’s 10/10 in all aspects.

Initially, I hated themedicinal opening. Now I really enjoy it so much, it's so addicting! By the way mine is coming with magnetic cap & new atomizer. Easy 12/10 for me.
Great review if you have an older bottle, anyone else had a new reformulated batch ? I've got a September 2022 bottle. It's Shadow of its former self, very weak.
I keep hearing that. Smh. I think somehow I have the older batch I guess from 2021. Though I thought it was reformulated in 2020 from what I remember reading. How much weaker is it?
Great Review. Have to be honest here. I have had Red Tobacco for a while but I had to finally get the courage to ware it last year. After having for a few months I wore it and the response I got was all positive. I got three complements on this at a new years party which was the first time I wore. Again, great review.
It does seem like it would be a polarizing scent for some people due to the opening but the dry down is so amazing! The compliments you received, possibly in a crowded venue, is all I need to know that it can be a crowdpleaser as well. Thanks for watching!
I like getting from Aura too but when they are out of stock, I pay $5-$10 more from Jomashop. Since you like tobacco, you should sample Montale's Tobacco Oud. It's like the big brother to Red Tobacco.
Yup Jomashop is one of my other trusted sellers. They've been known to have issues with shipping but I haven't had any. I did hear that Tobacco Oud is Montales version of Red Tobacco. The red container is pretty dope as well.
I love me some Mancera Red Tobacco. Total beast mode fragrance at a reasonable price from discounters. I have like twelve bottles from them with a Roses Chocolate one on the way which will probably be my valentine day scent. 😃
Roses chocolate sounds interesting though I haven't found a fragrance with chocolate that I've really enjoyed yet.
@@scentvibes yeah I've yet to even smell a chocolate fragrance as far as I know but I know I love rose so it may be one of those colognes that's sprayed only a couple times per year because of the chocolate. We'll see .😃

Right now my top 3 are intense cedrat boise, Aoud Blue Notes, and Red Tobacco.

I was quite disappointed with the opening but after the drydown man... feels like tobacco vanilla heaven. I was wearing two other fragrances and couldnt even feel them compared to what Red tobacco vanilla smoke was projecting.
I never tried a tobacco fragrance and I like the presentation of the bottle because it literally looks like a bottle of wine. So I'm gonna have to pick up a sample before gettin the big one 🔥
Ah, man, it's my favorite note, but like i said in my review, it's more than a tobacco scent to me. You definitely should get a sample. If and when you decide about getting a full presentation, you may want to go for the smaller size , the 60ml. This fragrance will last well past my lifetime, lol.

I heard somewhere that 60 ml is more resistant than 120 ml. Allegedly, a more diluted version of perfume is poured into a larger volume. Well, 120 ml can't cost only $25 more. Is it true, who knows??
That's possibly true and as a collector, I don't need 120ml of this stuff. It's going to last me forever. I wish I knew how it performed vs my 120. I still think it performs very well.

I never got my hands on the older one. This is a recent batch, and I have absolutely no issues with it. Its definitely not weak. If it performed anymore, I'd be annoyed. It may not perform the same, but I'm ok with that.
@@scentvibes ok. I blindly yolo-ordered it from notino minutes ago. How long does it stay on your skin/clothes compared to what ppl say about the older batches (14-24hr)?
@@kosskash on skin close to 12 hrs then it's a very close skin scent. However, it still goes strong until the next day. In other words, the notes don't soften up. Taking a shower is the only way to remove the scent or wt least break the notes down. It lasts days on clothing, so be careful you're not spraying an item that can only be dry cleaned.

@@andrellsingleton1874 normally yeah, but if there's a great deal on something that has notes I normally would agree with I'll blind buy it. I blind bought aoud blue notes, sicily, aoud vanille, and black gold. The only one I regretted was aoud vanille but I'm waiting for it to get cooler to see how I like it.
@@scentvibes I have cedrat boise,black gold,instant crush,sicily,and red tobacco. I've sampled vetiver sensuel,black vanilla, aoud lemon mint,aoud blue notes,soleil d'italie and crazy for oud.

I’ve just bought this. I was expecting a beast mode. I get a lively scent but no projection. Unless my nose is blind to it.
Possibly but you most likely got one of the newer batches that have sadly been reformulated. See if you can ask friends around you if they can smell you though because maybe you did go noseblind.
why im the only one here felt that its not that strong, i got authentic 100%, it starts like insane red bomb, after one hour it settle down and become a very nice scent, but 0 projection, you literally need to sniff your skin like sniffing white crystal line, i thought ok maybe my skin, though i never had issues with my skin, almost all my perfumes are long lasting on my skin and projects pretty well, so i decided to spray it on clothes, and literally 2 days guys, i swear ultra male stays a week on my cloths, so yah idk, why no one talks about that, people is talking about some reformulations on reddit and other sites, but youtubers still hiding such info for their public, -.-
You might want to ask someone around you if they can smell you. I noticed you didn't reference that in your comment. You may be going nose blind to the scent.
To address your last comment, I never had the formulation that people reference in their concerns. So I have nothing to compare my bottle to. I'm more than satisfied though. Also, I have nothing to hide on my channel since none of my content is sponsored. I criticize fragrances when needed. I address poor skin performance during my Hindu Kush video. Also, I've addressed it in my Cedrat Boise/Intense battle video.
@@scentvibes I was testing performance for a month, bad projection after 1-1,5 hr, and also am not saying you are hiding information, I know Mancera is not sponsoring company at end of the day, am just telling that no one mentions that problem though am not the only one complaining about performance, a lot of people who bought this perfume at least in the last year experienced those issues with performance, its not personal l'm searching for any interpretation and explanation for the changes of performance on the CZcams and I don't find answer, except from ordinary people on reddit and other social media and complaining corners here and there 😅

@@scentvibes if you have a new batch I would be so appreciated if you make a one more review, if it’s not changed then I could say that there I have a weak juice maybe bad storage or some deterioration for some bottles and that happens, I want to know if it’s general of some issues with some bottles bad stored or deteriorated and thank you again for the response 🙏🏻
@Фади Ибрагимович so I'm at the point where the scent died down significantly but it's still noticeable with movement. Idk my 21 batch just performs. It's a screw cap version and I got at least 4 hrs of projection out of it. I forgot about confirming any further projection observations because at that point my wife and I were in different areas at a bday event we were at. I don't have the newest batch that's out but my 21, purchased last year does very well. I sprayed it on around 1030AM and I'm still getting minor enjoyment out of the fragrance.
Worst cologne I ever purchased, not beast mode, smells like water and honey, no notes other than water and honey, I was so excited to love this, the reviews all said beast mode and delicious. Literally smells like just water and honey, maybe a little vanilla as well, do not ever buy this Fragrance, super disappointed with this house. Shame on you Mancera. Not one person said anything after 7 sprays of this, when I was indoors near a lot of people and outside as well.
Reviews state 6 foot projection, 8-24 hours sillage. Bullshit.
Do not even think about getting this crap cologne.
Dang, that sucks. I wonder why Mancera changed the composition on this fragrance. I'm sorry to hear that.
