This waterspout seems more like the "tornado over water waterspout" as opposed the the usual "updraft" weak waterspouts that one commonly sees near the keys. In other words, this one looks like it has powerful winds and can do some real damage.
Man that is REALLY awesome. I did a quick look on earth viewer to find Oldsmar because I never heard of it and love this stuff. I'm in Sarasota haha. But only been here about 8 yrs. I go to the seawalls and beach hoping to see something like this but don't? The closest I got was a tornado around January-ish 2016 on Siesta Key. Well, thanks for sharing...Very very cool. watch out fer lightning , Chris .- )
That's a fairweather water spout- not strong enough to lift anything. The water you see is actually purely condensation- hence the already cloudlike aspect.
Seen 2 off of Galveston. First one was July 4, 1961. Summer before Hurricane Carla hit. I was 6 years old. I was with my dad at the base of Galveston South Jetties. Dad pointed it out to me. I almost shit in my pants. Had he not had a hold of my shirt collar. I'd of jumped off the Jetty. Into the ship channel
Those Are The Most Fuckin Scareist Things that you can experience when you're down in Florida or up the East Coast like in Maryland when Hurricane Irene was happening we stayed in Delaware and we got several tornado warnings and we have to take shelter and I remember hearing the tornado sirens the tornado was weak and when we went down to Maryland for the next day turns out my mom's car was scratched with keys so we decided to sue the hotel
I was there that day with my friend Jessie and it was unreal. Thanks for capturing this!
That is the most beautiful waterspout I have ever seen.

Please add the punctuation every time even though you put actuation at the end
@@ryzeneats4085 Help me understand. How would you write the sentence?
That is STUNNING!!! 🥰🥰
I feel sorry for pirates and navy men who have to go through that
I don't know. If it's waterspout vs. pirate, I'm probably rooting for the waterspout.
What if riding that would take you to a sky island !

That looks incredible
Ngl 0:43 is so scenic, and calm.
anyone know if it's just picking up water from the surface or if water is actually condensing in the air from the pressure drop in the vortex?
4 years late but its a bit of both
Surprisingly I've never seen this footage but I was so scared when this tornado happened because it was so close to hitting me
where dose all the water go
So beautiful 😍
