Clinique serum foundation is 100% NOT better than Doublewear. It separates after an hour or two regardless of what you use with it. It also doesn't last. Anyone using Doublewear is going to be very very disappointed by the Clinique foundation. The only foundation that comes a second place to Doublewear is Dior Forever Matte foundation (the most recent reformulation 2022/23)
Oh no😣😣 I really love it- although double wear is incredible! I love that the Clinique gives such a full coverage without having to layer and has dimension to it, it’s not so flat. And you’re right nothing stays like double wear 🏆
@@malloryosses Tom Ford traceless soft matte foundation DOES stay as long as doublewear (slightly less coverage). For the ultimate finish, add a pump of Milk hydrogrip primer and mix into the foundation before applying, works SOOOO well
Dry 30 year old skin🙋🏻♀️ and yes. A proper skincare routine and anyone can wear the double wear. I can always tell (as an ulta employee and a make up artist) when someone wasn’t properly taking care of their skin when they would say it was too drying or too heavy. My sister in law who has rough dry skin and rosacea loves this foundation. We prep her skin properly and she’s just fine. Better than her nars foundation.

I have very dry skin, I like a fairly see-through coverage. You can absolutely have this with Double Wear. It’s all about application with a super damp (wet!) sponge 👌🏻 Plus get a shade lighter than you think you want. Oh I’ll go for this one…no, you want the shade lighter. Clinique slides off my face 🤷🏻♀️
Skin prep is everything with Double Wear. It’s the most versatile foundation I’ve ever used-you can add your favorite serum to make it more glowy/sheer or use a damp sponge. Clinique foundations used to be really a quality product but no longer the case

I have pretty oily skin (especially when it’s hot obviously) and double wear is the one and only foundation that has held up in extreme heat. I work in a kitchen at a hospital. The kitchen has no ventilation and get VERY hot to where I have to go in the freezer for a few minutes to cool down. So along with me getting hot, my face gets very oily. Love double wear.
No! Clinique is super drying to the skin because of having to wear the salicylic acid and other harsh ingredients all day along! Not a good idea at all! Definitely try this on all your face all day before you buy it!
OMG! The Clinique is horrible! Not only is it nomwhere near as pretty on the skin as DB, it separates and looks unnatural! Eeewww! Double Wear is still Queen!
Use a damp beauty blending sponge to blend and keep EL Double Wear from looking heavy and cakey. Nothing lasts on my over 50 face like double wear.

Nothing compares with double wear. I have dry older skin. You just need to moisturise properly before application. Nothing is better than double wear.

It depends I used to get away with some of their colors, you're making me want to try it.
Stopped using DW since they messed the shades up. They mostly run too yellow for me.

Tried double wear, used it with brush with a bit of moisture, with a damp sponge.. Hated it! Prefer a good BB or CC these days.

Nooo Clinique is not okay to use in hot and humid regions for oily skin type. Double wear is our savior.
