Got my 2011 Camaro 2SS at 129k still running like a beast, these cars are out of this world!!!
Man I literally have fun every time I drive it. Addicted
How many miles are on it now? I know ls’s are the bread and butter but still i wanna know how the ls3 holds up to higher mileage because i drive quite a lot
Right now mid 40's
@@SGO_ and still no problems? Thank you !
Not a single problem
I 100% agree with you on the tail lights...they played a huge role on my decision as to which Camaro I ended up buying. I went with a 2011 Synergy Green SS. Mine is 1.4 BMR lowered, Cold Air Inductions intake, and muffler deleted.
10-13 still best taillights !
I think it just depends on the person whether they like the the 10-13 taillights or the 14-15, I was planning to get a 10-13 SS for that early 5th gen body Ive dreamed of owning when they first came out but after a 15 green flash edition camaro caught my eyes and took it home everything has grown on me and got no regrets! Your Camaro is sick btw!!
Just picked up a 2011 2SS 3 days ago 🔥 these cars are badass
Awesome! You’ll love it !
How much did you pick it up for?
Picked up a 2015 Emerald Green Green flash Edition a few months back. The best camaro I have owned. It turns alot of heads. Thing runs like a beast. Will be doing some cam work this March.
You won’t be disappointed. They still turn heads and it’s amazing. I love to drive my and so it as much as I can
The 2014-2015 taillights came from the 69 Camaros design. I love them tail lights. It had to grow on me though at first hahah. The 5th gens are the last muscle car body style
Yeah it didn’t carry over too well lol, but if you like it’s all about what you like !
And !
So far if you have a 14,15 model Ss!
Your already that much closer to changing it to a Z28!
And we all know how special that is!! 😊
Camera quality is A1 bro. Sweet ride too! I have a 5th gen SS myself. 174k miles on it, still running like a dream. Great cars, going to do a rebuild on mine soon. I might go with a pro charger set up, twins are in consideration too. Looking forward to see what you do with yours!
I have added something that I will make a great video of I can’t wait it upload. Working o a crispy, cinematic video too ! Can’t wait for share !
I thought dynomite tuning will help alot and make it live longer
the early 2010/2013 whether v8 or v6 are beautiful cars!!!!
you have a real nice one ,,,subscribed
Thank you !! A lot more to come !
I been having my 2010 Camaro ss for 6 going on 7 years I can't lie the best Camaro I ever owned no problems and still strong
Dude that’s Awesome I want to keep it but time will tell
Hi!, currently you haven't had any problems with your engine or transmission?
I question it because I'm about to buy my first car and they're just selling me a 2010 SS automatic 6.2 v8
Do you think it would be an amazing purchase?
So glad you posted this. I'm looking to get one in the next few months. It's just something about that 5th gen body style that grabs me. I can't wait.
That’s why I plan to drive until the wheels fall off. I have a lot of plans for it, don’t hesitate to get if then budget is right !
@@SGO_ Yep. That's what I'm waiting for. Been searching around but The 5th gens are still going for crazy amounts right now. I have a 2019 Challenger RT currently that I got for 26k last year and some of the 2010-2015 are just as expensive or more with higher milage where I am. It's crazy. hey definitely hold their value I see.
Honestly is just the car market right now, crazy prices everywhere. I’ve seen ecoboost with 50k go for 40k, Facebook market is the best place and workout a deal. That’s what I did on mine
@@Fade2BlackSS This was my dream car too, congrats!
I appreciate it. Enjoy your lake with the car. You did a real good job. Good work looking to buy with myself. Cash sounds great. Looks great. Good job.
100% agree on the tail lights...and LOVE the BMR lowering kit!
Appreciate that!!
One of the best 2SS 5th-Gen I’ve seen!
I’m buying a 2SS 2011 too in a couple of months too 🙌
Appreciate that I have added more stuff to it looks great !
I did zl1 conversation kit
It sums up, the first gen, not the 2nd! The first gen, was 67-69, the 69, was a one year only model. It did look different from 67-68, because of the body lines on the sides, the other two didn't. I love the 69, and that's why I got a 5th gen, it looks a lot like it. I was really hoping the would build it for several years, and then lean toward the 70 1/2. You got a great look'n car.
Found my 2010 SS2 with 59 K miles. Since then put all Texas Speed parts in my motor and added Long Tube headers. Puts it at 450 at the wheel 550 at the crank but that wasn’t enough and added a Pro Charger and now pulling 660+ and 550+ at the wheel. I should be pulling low 10,s for sure. These cars are what keeps chevy in the Super Car class.
Dude I wish I had the money for a supercharger right now lol, but soon it’ll happen I’m enjoying NA for now. But sounds like you enjoy yours !
Totally agree with this looking more like a muscle car and the newer ones looking more sporty
Yup same here
The 5th gens are the best looking ever! My God that backside I love it!
I have done a bit more ! Thanks !!
Found a 2015 2SS with only 1100 miles on it back in August. Snagged her up and been in love every day.
I’m still in love with mine 😂
Wow I just got a 2012 Camaro 1ss with only 37k miles it’s been garage kept & is the bumblebee yellow! I’m already in love with it.
One of the BEST looking Camaros on Yt bro! Do it again & this time for keeps. 🔥
Hopefully one day !
I think it's still worthh it. I'm under $10,000 less than a 6th gen and have power. The gen 5 looks classic and that never gets old.
Totally agree with you !
Folks are not noticing yet but the Gen5 Camaro is the Foxbody nowadays. Smalllblock pushrod which is damn easy to work on, the LS3 and the L99 can go to 427 cubic inches, aftermarket is flooded, SBE can go 9’s NA, power adder can go 7’s with the right budget, strong manual and auto, even stronger 4L80 conversion, great looks vert or coupe, and haven’t even touched aftermarket blocks! The infamous LSX would build a tasty 440 cubic inch powerhouse or you can go larger. This is what we did with the Foxbody back in the late 80’s and 90’s. And there’s nothing more American than the sound of a lumpy cross plane V8.
You know what? I just convinced myself why I need to go with my first LS product.
🇺🇸👍💪🦅
That’s what I keep saying !!!! Thanks for the feedback!
I just got a 2012 camaro ss 45th anniversary edition with only 37k miles! It's such a beautiful car and the fact that it's a 6 speed manual just makes me go 🤤. But yeah such an amazing and beautiful car, it's a dream car of mine so I'm so happy
My dream car too ! Will get another one later on the future !
Thanks for the review, I’ve been researching this car for a while and it’s quite helpful.
I was wondering if by any chance you could give me insight on your camera/phone setup you used for recording this as it looks damn good specially at the intro
Just bought a 2011 2SS 6speed manual with 38k miles. Loving every second of it.
Love mines too !
@@SGO_ just curious, did you modify the car at all to get that awesome chug noise it has at the end of the video? Looking into getting one of these and this thing sounds like a beast.
just bought a 2010 2SS... 24k miles. 28k out the door..... love it
Dude that’s awesome I got mine for 22k from a private sale. Fbo and cam, with 38k miles at the time, it was a gem had to search and search until I found a good deal. Love mine as well !
Bro, I always say I hate the new gens, then after awhile I realize it's still a Camaro and I start loving them 🤣 Great car! Really enjoyed the video! I have a 2011 Camaro SS LS3 with 140k miles. Runs like a dream. I love it!
Appreciate that bro, if I had the money I would get a 6the gen lighter and make more power na but I love my 5th gen going boost soon
I have the same wit the same miles and i keep messing mines up i know it has so much potential and it’s a beast and strong but idk what I keep doing or taking it to the wrong people, it’s sitting in my yard cause it has a rough idle and sounds like it’s gonna shut down on me
It used to start and then after a while it would start after two try’s and then if you keep running it, it won’t start at all and goes into a rough idle, and says service stailbltrak, but idk what it could be my wit wiring or my ecu idk
Besides my 67 SS CAMARO, I LOVE MY 13 SS CAMARO. YOU'RE RIDE IS GORGEOUS! ENJOY IT, BUT RESPECT IT. ; )
Thanks I do respect it a lot haha sometimes the power gets to you !
i love 5th gens too my fav i love the 2014 and 2015 2ss rs package looks the most aggressive
and tail lights can be changed out lol
the upside down SS badges strike again!
I've owned fbo cammed 2011 Camaro SS on a drag packon a drag pack for 10 years . Orange with white stripes. I get compliments everytime I drive it...last true musclecar GM will ever build
nice, thanks for sharing. love mine!
I have a 2015 1SS and it looks so aggressive especially being victory red! I know there’s faster cars now but this car will be a classic
I used to have a 2015 if you watch my other videos, miss that thing so much !!!
Do you find yourself wanting the 2SS instead? Or does it really not make a difference, aesthetic wise
@@Cazamigos the one I have is the 2SS, love it !!
Im literally un the hunt for a 2015 2SS but cant find one less than 30k. So idk if i should settle for a 1SS & give up the heads up display :/
@@Cazamigos settle for the 1ss paying all that extra for some features is not what I would do. I just happened to find mine for 21k which was a steal had 36k miles and fbo with cam, 2SS. But I wouldn’t I would t buy a car more than 25k or 20 k.
Wow stunning, super worth to buy even in 2023
I have a 2013 black 2ss Camaro with only 48k miles on it, I bought it brand new with only 140 miles on there. Now I'm about to trade it for the 6 Gen Camaro 2017 2ss with only 8k miles. I swear I'm still thinking very hard because I love that car a lot and it has that unique muscle body style with a little bit of the Night Rider look in the front. I love the 5 Gen Camaro but I wanted to upgrade into the new technology which I think is pretty cool. But let me just say this, when they came out with the refresh in 2019 that car was so horrific imo it really did make me appreciate my fifth Gen even more... And by the way your car is so badass love that black
Appreciate that, I’m definitely keeping my for a long time !
The 2014 15 cars are by far the best ones they way more aggressive with electric power steering and touch screens
Totally agree but the new ones are super fast stock.
Just bought a 2010 2ss with 90k miles hoping its going to last i had it checked out by pro mechanics ran all kinds of reports on it etc & my dad was a mechanic for yrs says its golden after seeing so many 5th gens couldent pass one up
to each their own i guess... i like the 10-13 rear ends but the 15 did it for me definitely loving it
I got a 2012 Camaro ss about a year ago with 40K miles running like a champ
These cars are monsters !
Love the car man! Where did you get those mud flaps/rock guards from?!?!
love my 2011 SS gets the looks being white with inferno orange stripes and engine bay as well is in orange and white.plus my fuse box signed by horny mike of counts kustoms.borla axle back exhaust, black chrome ZL1wheels.put in a kenwood 7706 head unit.silverwire carbon fiber for the interior parts.carbon fiber front splitter.i have around 26,000 km on it pretty much like new and still smell new.
I need some carbon fiber for mine 😍
I totally agree about the body style between 5th and 6th gens if money wasn’t a factor I’d buy the 17-18 ZL1 such a menacing looking car but other than that is 5th gens for the win I also wish they made the z/28 in the 5th gen but is what it is
They did but they did it with the remodeled 5th gen 2014-15
I’ve been sick for two years with long Covid and Saturday I almost pulled off trading the RS for an SS I just couldn’t get a Homie to Co-Sign. Nothing will make me quit, I will have an SS 🏆
Try to get better health wise cars can always wait !
Nice video bro. I had to get used to my 2014 tail lights, they grew on me. Does your BMR springs squeak at all?
No squeak at all.
I love this style, feel they went kinda wonky with the tail lights afterwards
Hey bro love your chanel and im subbed bu the way, i have a question will the stock engine for a 2010 camaro last long if it has ran 110~130k miles? Does it depend on how it has been used how tired the engine really is or what? And by the way it is about 11k$ in my country should i buy it? No one asnwered my question ever and i would be really appreciated if you respond thank you!😊
Ls3 are very powerful engines. I had one buy my old ls3 with 115k and it was amazing. I kinda regret selling it I had 4k left and that was 3yrs ago I would done so much with it. It all depends with you text drive it should be okay for that amount of money
Like the car and the video don't care for the exhaust too raspy but hope your enjoying it
Heck yeah, I just bought a 2012 1SS, strong running and with a six speed. It's badged as a ZL 454, a SLP aftermarket dealer option.
Does it have a have a different motor ?
@@SGO_ Not this one , just some add on’s and a tune. They have a supercharger upgrade with a 600 badge.
@@SGO_ The numbers represent hp.
The SLP cars are bad ass.
its hard asf to see anything out of these cars but other than that I love them
It’s a bit to get used to
3:07-3:47 THANK YOU! I completely agree with you!
Which one should I get a corvette or a Camaro ?
I have a 2011 2SS, just realized 2012s came with a Chevy Bowtie on the steering wheel!
Looks Amazing😍Sound 🔥🤟🔥😈
I have the same car. Its a total beast. I love to take advantage of its full power on the Autobahn :D. Its limited to 250 kmh but i still made it too 270 kmh. I can feel the car even wants to go faster. Can you tell me if the frame and the engine supports the removal of the speed limiter?
You can tune the limiter out, just take it to a tuner. And yes beast if a car!
I love 5TH Generation Chevrolet Camaros from General Motors in 2010 to 2015.
Nice !!
Just bought a 2010 Camaro 2SS 2 months back don’t regret it one bit super fun car still has the power to keep up with some newer rides
Dude I love mine
Agree with everything. But that camera work has me dizzzy lol 😂
I liked ya lil video neway!
Even tho you don’t like my 14 Ss with the ugly tail lights.
I think you like yurs the best…. Cuz it’s urs! Kool tho.
I like all three.
Especially when yu sitting on 285 35 20x10 f 305 35 20x 11n da back !
N it’s sitting on da ground!
Z28 wicker built spoiler on da rear.
Etc etc….
🤷🏾♂️yu know Ss family
All that said: yours NICE!!!
Mine ships in 2 days. ready to get my hands on it!
Dude I’m excited for you what color and specs ?
@@SGO_ I got the navy blue.2013 SS Bone stock and has only 23k miles. I'm glad it has no mods cause i get to do them and know that it wont be ragged until i get my hands on it lmao
I totally agree with you on those taillights! What the hell were they on, while being behind the drawing board?
The wanted to go back to the 3rd gen generation
Hey man, just wondering what you would call those mud flap looking things you installed behind your rear wheels? Maybe even a link? I’ve been trying to figure this out for a good minute.
Unfortunate I get asked that alot but it came with the car
Any other mods besides the cam? I have a 2012 45th anniversary throwing a stage 2 cam
Headers and intake, with tune.
The sound of your car is badass
Thanks appreciate that !
You briefly spoke on the exhaust brand. What aftermarket is that? Sounds so sweet with the cam
Mbrp is the exhaust brand
I got a 2014 and you are correct..😂 Those tail lights absolutely suck.. So I swapped it out with the Corvette style tail lights. Did Wonders for the back end aesthetics...
I'm looking at a 2011 SS, I'm 45 and have dreamed of owning a camaro since they released them years ago. Will be drove like 3 days a week (Weekend). My wife thinks I'm crazy. But we already have a "Family" vehicle (SUV). So I feel after all my year of busting my A^^ if I want a Camaro, I'm getting one. I feel earned that much.
oh at that age for sure! You have to enjoy life at some point. Good luck on everything!
Go for it! I'm 56 and bought a 2012 45th anniversary a week ago with 59,000 miles-Love the 6.2 liter V8! Great handling and fast car-nobody is getting younger so enjoy life while you can
Mannnnn this thing looks beautiful
Appreciate that bro !
Dang bro I have the 2015 SS and I love it’s tail lights 💀
What wheels are those bro they’re badass
man that thing sounds good, looks good too. what camera are you using there?
Thank you and it’s the Sony a7iii, great camera !
the footage looked amazing.
Thanks CZcams definitely scales it down but still looks crisp
Thanks looking forward to making more
nice 😅👌 we have the very same opinion about the Camaro models tail lights.
I would swap them out if I got that year
Camera is this buddy? Look’s really well put together ‼️
Nice Video my brotha🤙🏾
Appreciate that !! And it's the Sony a7 III, little expensive but does the job
One thing I don't like about the 6th Gen is the front headlight slit, I like the look of this body the best, I'd like to have one and convert it to a trans am from trans am depot
I’ve seen a lot of them online they look great !
I love mine 10 years old and still dusting a lot of newer cars
yup, thats the great thing about them!
Yeah ima cam my 5th gen now … lol dope ride bro
you wont regret!!
I have n amazing Rs Camaro 2012 and Today i got My second 2SS Camaro 2012 45th Anniversary convertable Special Edition
The 2015 looks more like the 67-69 camaro that’s what I like also the last z/28
I think the 2010-2013 but we all have opinions. And the 2015 z/28 is one of my favorites
2014 /2015 imo were the better tail lights it actually looked like the 1st gen camaro rear end
Just my opinion not a fan
I have a 2012 1SS with the LS3, 6 speed manual transmission. So far the only mods that I have added was a new stereo and backup camera. I bought it with aftermarket rims, K and N filter and it has no mufflers at all. I plan on adding new headers, cam, and converting it to E85.
do it. you will not regret anything trust me.
Is that wickerbill installed over that stock lip spoiler? Where did u get that
Over stock lip and ZL1 add-ons
Beautiful car
Thank you !!!
2014 SS All Day!
Joint look good🤩
Appreciate that !
Very nice car. very beautiful
Thank you ! A lot more added to it now I’ll make an update video soon
Dude I love your wheels, what kind are they, I might have to look into getting set
They are American racing
@@SGO_ also what's your size and offset you're running?
Just saw a 2010 with 12k miles for $17k like holy shit thats cheap for that mileage. I don't like Camaros all that much but if I had that money I'd be picking it up, that price/mile ratio is unheard of for Dodges which is my first choice.
Where did you see that at? That's very unheard of especially in this market.
@@SGO_ In Massachussetts, its from a Dealer so theres probably some catch. The drivers seat is torn up but thats all I see wrong with it.
Yeah there has to be something
Just bought one last month 2010 ss with 35k miles!
thats almost brand new honestly!
Hey man how much did it cost you to cam your car ? Was thinking about Caming my 2010 2ss
It’s about 2-3k for just install depending on the shop. If you know someone that can do it for the Low around 1500
@@SGO_ I figured it was around that price , thank you for responding !!!!
No problem bro ! It’s worth it if you like popcorn 😊
Hey man i have a 2SS 5th gen and i’m just wondering what wheels those are, thanks!
American racing wheels
Where did you get those headlights ?
The headlights are stock on the RS or RS/SS package. But you can buy them online but I’m not sure on what website
Gorgeous car! How many miles were on it when you bought it?
Had only 45k miles
Can I ask where you got the blackout badges?
came like that from previous owner but looks professionally painted
Nothing about a 5th & 6th gen looks like a 2nd gen man.......... That said though, I agree with you on the tail lights......
Camera is sooo damnnnn good!!!! What camera do you use.
A7iii around $2k but it’s worth it for pictures and video. That’s not including the lenses
@@SGO_ holyyy smokessss!!!!! It’s a lot but definitely gonna keep it in mind for the future when my channel does better and goes somewhere.
Definitely helps ! Better quality the more profile wanna watch
How is the ride with the lowering springs compared to stock?
I didn't notice any difference
How is the automatic model? Any problems with more than 60k miles?
Not sure never had an automatic
i wanted the 2012 camaro transformers bumblebee package but i couldn’t find them no where, instead i got a 2018 rs v6 camaro, but i like it, and can the seats for a camaro 2012 move up and forward??
Yes the seats move. And how you like the V6 the 6th gen V6 is pretty good
@@SGO_ yeah bro i love it, later on i want to upgrade the exhaust, make it a little louder, not like a v8 lol, i don’t want to be the " tough" guy in the street having a rs sounding like a ss, i’d just get roasted all the time
You'll get roasted either way lol. Make it loud !! Juts don't be that annoying guy that revs everywhere. I mean people get roasted for literally everything might as well do what you want w/o being annoying.
@@SGO_ lol you saying even if i put the exhaust borla, i’ll still get roasted?? lmao you know what who gives, i’ll do it lol
Yeah honestly they will always ask you why you got a V6 in my case people as why I got a manual 5th gen
What is the best supercharger to massively increase hp on a fifth gen?
There are so many options. But depends on what you want to do with that power
@@SGO_ if i remember correctly haven’t people been saying whipple’s for this gen camaro are bad?
I’m actually looking into getting a 2012 SS camero 6speed auto
Good time to get one
Prices on these are launching like crazy since everyone is making videos of these 5th gens
Really every car is high right now. But more people want 5th gen right now because the 6th gens are so high
@@SGO_ yea I'm trying to get a 5th gen cuz the 6th gen is out of my budget but from the looks of it if it keeps going up I won't be getting one
Mine was a great deal I couldn’t let pass but yes staying in budget is important. Cars will come man, hope you find a good one
went from a 2012 (dec 6 2012) to a 2017 (oct 1st 2020) loved the 2012 went all the way to 120k miles the 5th gen is awesome but I like the 6th gen a bit better is it still worth it to get a 5th gen oh yeah.
If I did have the extra money I would of but right now the 5th gen is all I need. Congrats on the ride
@@SGO_ 5th gen is still a great car and a couple things are better in the 5th gen.
Dream garage is to have a 6th gen as well !
LS3>LT1 in my opinion. LS3 is also reliable HP. Not that the LT1 isn’t reliable, but direct injection won’t last as long.
That’s why I chose my 2011 2SS 6 speed stick shift instead of the newer LT variant
Good points
