The flatness of those help keep even the finest chips at bay, and ensure little maintenance. But the machine is very good for small projects.

Chuck speed way too fast. You should be getting nice curls. High speed results in chips snapped off and poor finish, otherwise, nice build.

Really great mini lathe. I am researching to find which method gives the most rigid and allows for a milling machine to be adapted to it as well.
