To the Irish man with the long hair and the leather jacket: You, sir, are my hero!
+David Welsh I want to know who he is, because he is absolutely hilarious!
gamergeek, he is, but he is honest and that makes him even more hilarious.
+David Welsh am i the only one who thinks hes like an irish Jack Sparrow? Hes amazing
TheSparkleina, actually, you are right. I notice that vibe too.
+David Welsh I know he's my absolute favorite! I could watch him all day!
"what's the worst that could happen"
"Diabetes"
Hes my favorite.
+Mu sh Being a diabetic, I find his comment quite rude...and ignorant. You do NOT get diabetes from eating/drinking too much sugar...it's a MYTH!!!
ghunter182003 Go back to buzzfeed. That's a good channel with no humor at all, you'll love it.
+ghunter182003 Are you kidding? 1 in 3 people are obese in this country and have various metabolic disorders (including diabetes) and it is directly related to the overconsumption of sugary foods and beverages. Get your facts straight. While his comment was a joke there was actually a lot of truth to it.
+Kirsten Bickford
Diabetes is usually either from just having it spontaneously, or being obese. Foods high in sugars are a big part in obesity so I can see why'd you think that, but sugar does not cause diabetes.
Allie Arnold So sugar causes obesity, and obesity causes diabetes, therefore by the transitive property, sugar causes diabetes.
I don't know why i still watch this channel lol It's literally never the normal things Americans eat/drink
Brandon Ali that's because they don't know us. It's up to you to tell them what we like.
Probably because everything we have that is "normal" is sold in Ireland.
Project KJ for you things in Ireland are normal and for us think are normal here. It's up to us to educate each other on what's normal for our countries. So your statement doesn't apply here. Now if they were Americans trying your normal products that statement would apply.
They probably just think it is what Americans drink. They won't know till we tell them. :)
Who doesn't drink root beer, or Hawaiian Punch. Admittedly, Tahitian Treat is better.
I love root beer
Lizzie Elizabeth depends on the root beer for me.
IBC Root beer is one of the best out there.
DefOni OMG I was going to say that too! I just wasn't sure if you heard of it. LOL
I only like Bargs root beer
Amish made root beer!
I'm wondering, why try all these weird and hardly popular beverages? Then I realized, Ireland probably already has all the popular US sodas.
jamesdagmond Most of them anyway..
jamesdagmond exactly the same thought, they mentioned nearly all the sodas I have ever tried while tasting these obscure sodas. Makes me feel like a Soda World Citizen :)
jamesdagmond I was thinking the same thing...the only "soda" I recognized was Tab and nobody drinks that anymore...and sweet tea is not soda...I was entirely thinking whoever came up with this (just like the snack one) didn't know their ass from a whole in the ground about any of it...lol
jamesdagmond I would think they've done that because big name drinks are so international people will have likely already tried them, so they have to pick drinks that aren't as widely distributed to get first time reactions.
***** the grape soda is popular
As an Oregonian myself, I agree you wouldn't want "Oregon Punch" Oh, and props to her knowing that Oregon exists, most people in other states don't know that there's anything in between California and Washington.
I feel like it would just be a dark green soda that tastes like pine trees and fog.
You should be glad to live in a place as well known as Oregon. I live in the U.P. and people regularly think that it's part of Canada when I travel.
Joe Kennedy Oregon isn't well known outside of the U.S.
I've had a Canadian say they thought the U.P. was part of Canada. There are only like 300,000 and the biggest city here is about 30,000. We're part of Michigan but easily forgotten.
Well, that's not to say you're unknown, but have you heard of specifically Eugene Oregon, or even Springfield for that matter? There are even worse ones like Sweethome or Browning. Given, Browning has like 42 people total, and Sweethome has about 104, but nevertheless, besides our mountains, Portland and Salem we aren't very well known.
That's so jacked up. 😂😂😂😂 the title should be American gheto drinks 😂😂😂😂😂
OK, the description of Tab being mopped up Coke off the floor is pretty spot on IMO.
I'm a soda and I haven't seen half of these Americans!
.dies.
i am dead
this surprisingly made me laugh......
I read it wrong lol
accountnumber90 same
"WHAT THE FUCK IS TAB??!!"
-Every American watching this Video.
I love TAB
Lol my brother's stepmom used to drink it. That shit is nasty.
Faal Lot Dovah The wee little key right above CAPS LOCK.
:)
Yeah, TAB was popular in the 80's. No one drinks that shit now.
Anyone born before 1990 knows what Tab is. Let's not make idiotic statements.
Tea is not soda...
Hawaiian punch isn't even soda
I know right? Soda has to be carbonated to really be soda.
Neither is sweet tea for that matter.
I think they're ignorant on what we call soda, cause half our country calls em cola's
Guess it counts because it's in a soda can? Don't see any excuse for the tea, lol. xD
T_Peg rfycdb say Karen hfp
I am American....and have never heard of half of these xD Oh yeah, choose the obscure ones xD
We already have most of the big brands.
EXACTLY!!!! same here!!!! I have never heard of nearly HALF of these sodas. So they decide to choose the sodas no body EVER drinks.
sharebear What would be the point of choosing ones that everyone already drinks in Ireland?
Yes
QuixoticQuaver because no one drinks the shit in the video lol
Living in America my whole life, I only recognized IBC Root Beer, Arizona Ice Tea, and Hawaiian Punch from when I was a kid. The only sodas you'll see in America are Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Mug Root Beer and Crush.
And Dr. Pepper has a cult following.
+Karl Muster Most of what you mentioned we have in Ireland, they are well known here, wouldn't be much of a video if they gave them stuff to try that they've had their whole lives
+Karl Muster I totally missed out on the 4th of July special Dr. Pepper. I was angry. >:( Still am.
+Karl Muster Mug Root Beer isn't that good. A&W all the way
You forgot Mountain Dew, Sunkist, 7UP, etc.
THE TWO MEN SITTING TOGETHER I SHIP THEM!
Coke? Fanta? Mnt Dew?
Guess not..
xXbxterXx no, because we Irish already drink those so what would be the point?
Also fanta was technically first created in Germany during nazi rule because the factory couldn't import coke ingredients.
I guarantee Mtn Dew is different in Ireland
yesss I´m sure they don´t know cola or fanta ;D
I agree when it Comes to moutain dew thought but they have it in ireland too
I'm American and I have not seen more then half of these sodas
right i haven't seen like any of those and some weren't even soda
I think these are more like American sodas that are also very popular in Europe, considering I recognized all of them.
Well these sodas are obscure but they are exclusive to the us. Brands like coke are not exclusive to the us only.
eurenton99 It's funny then that I can get the majority of these over here in The Netherlands.
YOU ARE NOT AMERICAN ENOUGH, YOU MUST BE DEPORTED
I've lived in the U.S. for 27 years and I've never heard of TAB... What the fuck is TAB?
Justin Wallace The original diet cola.
Justin Wallace Ha! Yes funny. I have no idea what TAB is but I think it might have popular in the '80s.
Smudginator2000 It was the original diet Coke, one of the first diet sodas, introduced back in 1963, and it's always had enough of its own market for them to never stop producing it. The '80s is when a lot more diet sodas came along, the fad caught on more but that was just in general.
+Justin Wallace patient zero of the blight known as "diet soda"
+Justin Wallace I'm not sure they make TAB anymore. The research for these things is not so good.
Seriously? I'm from America and Have not heard of 90% of these sodas.
Shae Coover you are also from the time that cell phones exist. Where 90% of these aren't popular anymore. Like TAB.
@@lisaborsch6721 Hey I remember TAB.
just didn't recognize that grape soda
"Irish people try American weed?"
I second that motion.
wtf!! since when was Hawaiian punch and sweet tea considered soda!? I'm confused
Right! That is exactly what I thought.
It's sold in cans and bottles in the coolers with Coke, etc so that might be why they put it with it.
Sweet tea should have been in the tea video
For real!
Ey ey it's in a can, right? Lmao
I've never heard of "Day's" soda.. Because I used to love grape soda, and how can a company mess up on it.
And Tab? It's like you guys choose the worst brands on purpose lol
I've only known one person in my entire life who drank Tab ..
Also, Hawaiian Punch and Arizona Tea are NOT soda's, you need to title this "American DRINKS", not "soda".
+MermaidAtlantica You're either lucky they don't offer Day's there, or else no one in Ireland would drink it, so they gave up. Stuff is shit.
agree 100%. would have commented almost the exact same thing.
+Kayter Tot "Panda" yeah wtfh guys!?, i as an american have never had any of these drinks!
"Whats the worst that could happen?"
"Diabetes."
Love this channel, but can't decide if it's 'cos of the insight into the Irish taste, or just the wonderful way you describe things with that awesome accent (to us Americans). Keep up the good work!
TAB?! Who in the frozen He'll drinks that? No one!
Root beer? Mug? A&W?
What about Mountain Dew?? Or Surg? Or Jolt
.
Props and kudos on the ice tea. Cuz yea. That's ours. Americans drink it.
It was IBC root beer.
Hawaiian Punch is soda? Also what is tab? I have never in my life seen a can of it.
Its probably Canadian. They did say AMERICAN. That includes North and South America technically.
cookiechomp You aren't old enough to remember it being common....talking 70s and 80s....
United We Stand Divided We Fall No, American means from the US.
hold on i fixed the title "irish people try the most off brand sodas that even an american has never heard off."
I know. It's like they fucking picked the ones that taste like straight up FUCKING SHIT just so they could say it tastes like it.
yeah they did with the British one too
yeah they picked all the sodas Americans don't drank 😂😂df thats crazy and idk wtf kinda grape soda that was yall should of got fanta grape or crush grape
+Negative Guy their are some sodas popular in america that are t international
+Nakeyma Williams when they whipped out Tab.... fucking tab... I'm 34 & I've never had a Tab in my life. I thought it was like something popular with women in the 80's cause that's the last time I've ever seen it in anyone's fridge.
I haven't seen Tab in 100 yrs. That can might be that old.
I love how in almost all these videos these people act like they've never seen or heard of artificial colors or flavors in anything. Yes you're so much more superior than everyone else.
I am American, born and raised... I have no idea what this Tab thing is
Then hey the duck did they drink that shot hahahaha
I don't know any of them.
Tab was the first diet soda...came out a loooooong time ago.
It's like faygo
The broke druggie cousin to coke that was always compared to
Helle Bores lol its funny you say that because my siblings and i call the weird looking knock offs of characters their "cousins" for that exact reason lol
"It's made by Dr. Pepper. What's the worst that could happen?..."
"Diabetes."
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!
***** its actually not true.. you don't just get diabetes from eating/drinking sugar.
Namron9797 HAHAHAHAH IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S TRUE YAY DIABETES
can you just shut the fuck up. you don't get diabetes from eating sugar. it's an autoimmune disease fuckface
Dariana Garza www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/257108.php
Deimos what I meant was type 1 diabetes not type 2. When your making a joke about it specify which one you're talking about, since you guys offend so many type 1 diabetics like myself.
There was so many better American sodas they could have tried
Would make for much Comedy though if after every sip the contributors all went "Yup, that's grand" and then the video just ended
@Michael Davila most of the popular brands of sodas would also be in shops in Ireland
@Michael Davila most of the popular brands of sodas would also be in shops in Ireland
Anyone else trying to get hungry by watching these vids?
No just me? 😂
What type of grape soda.....FANTA GUYS, USE FANTA, and Tab.....wtf is that
Tab is a a pepsi product
Thats no where found today
Literally me in this entire video
Guys guys, shh. It's just a video. Just shh; find peace. Find Jesus 👽
Fanta is technically German.
How is Iced Tea.... a soda....
No fucking clue
If they are going to give them tea they should at least give them a good brand like red diamond or Arizona.
it was arizona
because it's carbonated
Arizona tea isn't carbonated...
My favorite facts video lol
Great description for TAB. I didn't know they started making it again.
Dr Pepper Vanilla - :D they still kicking???
Grape Soda - Huh...never saw that can design
Tab - The fuck is Tab???
Hawaiian Punch - touched them once, never card for them
Root Beer - Classic.....nuff said
Arizona Sweet Tea - wait...WHAT?? Since when Tea counts as Soda????
-Californian
tab was invented and sold in America in the 80s
Hawaiian Punch is fantastic, but not a soda.
Tab was mentioned in Back to the Future, where he asked for a Tab and the diner guy thought he meant the bill, which he hadnt ordered anything yet
TAB was Coke's first diet soda.
I loved tab when it was first out. I visited the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta and they have every flavour available to sample from around the world that they sell. Tab had a spigot so I was so excited. I filled a whole cup the size of a dixie cup up and took a big swig and yuck, lol...funny how our tastebuds change. They had sample spigot stations set up based on continent. I recommend a visit to anyone if in the area!
The last ingredient just says, "Blue." Hahahahaha
+Andrew Perry lol/??????????
+Andrew Perry Reading ingredients online of American foods. It makes for hours of entertainment.
I love that in all these videos they actually read the ingredients and talk about how ridiculous it is that we just casually list all the chemicals and dye that is used and think "its not unhealthy at all, it's only "X" amount of calories. Thank you Irish people for keepin it real 😎💯
to be fair the ingredients are no different in the US than the EU, the FDA just requires stricter labelling where an EU label may just say "sugar" or "Vitamin B3", the US label would say "Maltodextrin" and "Niacin", hint they are both the same thing, just chemical names instead of the normal names, and they require labelling of all sub ingredients, where the EU would just say "Cheese" in the US you'd have a complete breakdown of everything that went into that cheese, usually with chemical names that don't "sound healthy" but are really just what every normal cheese is made of.
Man TAB needs to come back its literally the best pop in existence.
as an American I honestly never heard of almost any of the soda they drank.
I was thinking the same thing thooo
How can you not know about Dr. Pepper? It's so good. ;u;
Panda Inu
ok well that I know.
I feel you bro
Panda Inu Dr. Pepper, yes, but that flavor?
All you Americans saying 'I've never heard of...' Have to realise that 1.All the genuine american companies you want shown already sell in Ireland so they've tried their products and 2. Most of the 'good' sodas you like are European anyway
Most of the good sodas here are owned by Coca Cola an AMERICAN corporation
+Joelle Henderson Please refer to point 1.
I understand the reasoning behind why they chose obscure American sodas, however, you saying that the good sodas here are european is wrong. Point one really doesn't have anything to do with that.
+crissy4445 Yeah point 2 makes absolutely no sense. Name one famous soda in the US that is not made by an American company. Coke was invented here. Dr Pepper was invented here. Mountain Dew was invented here.
+Aaron Cookerly Pepsi and Coke brands are made here, so basically everything, idk what is made in Europe lmao
I don't usually laugh at these videos, but the girl got me with Oregon punch. Lol, nice one, lady.
I never have any of these except for Hawaiian Punch which I love
Hawaiian punch and Arizona tea, those are the only two I've ever seen anyone drink. This is coming from a life long American who has lived in various regions. Who is doing the research on American stuff? Hey, Facts. please consult with an American. No one drinks Tab (FYI), maybe use A&W Root beer, and not some crap off brand grape soda.
Most of the common american sodas we already have in Ireland, what would be the point of a video where people drink coke, Pepsi, sprite, fanta, mountain dew ect when they are already familiar with it and drink it all the time?
Sacha Martin Exactly, there's no point to the video especially if it's not an accurate portrayal of American sodas.
yeah the days brand grape soda is a ghetto brand... only served in bad areas of united states... i drank it near camden nj once... u get 24 oz for 88 c thats how cheap it is lol
Hannah Maris So you're trying to state that root beer or grape soda aren't typical US soft drinks?
Isn't it easier just to drop the pride and admit that the US invented, produces and consumes these horrid drinks?
Sandro Bindelli From my experience of living and traveling in the US for 21 years, that root beer is nothing I've ever seen and grape soda isn't something people drink popularly. It's like the crap soda.
I'm not saying we don't drink sugary drinks, just choose ones that the US actually drinks.
Dear "Facts.", how about consulting with actual Americans before you try our food & drink. Most of the crap in your videos is unrecognizable to the average American.
prqurn You're American and have never heard of Root Beer, Grape Soda or Dr. Pepper?
Those 3 drinks alone sell more than 1 billion units every year in the United States.
Facts. Whoever suggested these brands to you is an idiot. Never heard of half these drinks.
For real? But my American friends always drink Root Beer, Grape soda and Dr. Pepper.. hmm they might not be average Americans then..
scar12346 its more about the brands they get, like the best root beer is mug or a&w, and idk if its just not in CA but I have never even heard of "tab" and none of my friends drink grape soda
Shelly Schwarzbart grape soda is a black midwest thing and i've have also never heard of tab everything else i've heard of although they got the wrong brand of grape soda by the way i know this becaUSE I AM A BLACK DETROITER SRY CAPS LOCK RANDOMLY STARTED AND I AM TOO LAZY TO TURN IT OFF
I loved grape soda when I was younger 😄
Maine - Moxie
Materva - Miami
Vernors - originally Michigan now nationwide might be possible choices for American regional sodas.
P.S. Hawaiian Punch used to be a staple drink at children’s birthday parties.
im an American and I haven't heard of half of these sodas
Never seen any of these sodas here in America lol
I admit that I have not only seen, but have had most of these. The Grape one is the only one I haven't seen. before.
+Lost77 Yeah the grape is the only one I've never seen in real life.
Ya
same
This is not a representation of common popular American soda. Any why no brand identification for Root Beer? It's very common but brands vary as much as Coke vs. Pepsi vs. RC vs. Shasta cola.
lol. Shasta.
It was identified. It's IBC root beer. It's printed in the glass of the bottle and IBC is one of the main companies that deal with root beer, but it appears to be a rather uncommon soda flavor outside of the United States. I think some of the most popular sodas here are actually widely known and consumed around the world, especially the UK. Basic flavors of Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper, I think, are available worldwide. I am not sure how many of our lemon-limey flavors (7-Up, Squirt, Sierra Mist, Sprite, Mountain Dew) have gone worldwide, though.
Rainsofchange The bottle had no label. I watched the video again and you can read the label on the Grape Soda and the Sweet Tea, but not the Root Beer, so my point of no identification stands.
The bottle IS the label. It's printed IN the glass design. It's IBC. It's dark but you can read it. They don't have a paper wrapper. Unless you're being facetious by declaring they've chosen not to use a paper or plastic label on their bottle. These bottles typically come in a carrying case much like beer. A&W, Barq's. IBC, and Mug appear to round out the top(most well-known) brands. I agree they vary in taste, but I would say that all of them have the basic signature root beer taste. If you don't like the sassafras taste(artificial now due to bans) or sarsaparilla taste or are unaccustomed to it, you might not like any root beer.
Rainsofchange No, I'm not being facetious, and you don' get to repurpose the English language. Please note this quoted marketing description: Bottle and Label: Dark brown bottle with no label and only raised lettering to tell you what it contains.
I have never seen some of this sodas before and I live in America
I've seen them all
I have seen all but the grape one
Re: the root in root beer. . . It was originally sassafras root. Unfortunately, the main flavor component (a chemical called "safrole") is carcinogenic, so it was banned in the sixties. Since then, commercial root beer has been made with a combination of flavors to approximate the original. These often include wintergreen and anise.
This was a crime. They should have given them Grape Fanta if anything, not that obscure trash.
GroundPoundable Except Fanta originated in Mexico.
ParanoidPixel Huh. The more you know, I guess. What about Sunkist? It's like Fanta, but watered down.
+ParanoidPixel fanta was made by the nazi
doomsfear The nazi... *THE* NAZI?
+ParanoidPixel Yeah, doomsfear is right. Importation of Coca Cola products was embargoed by the Nazis, so the head of Coke Deutschland decided to make Coke products using Reich-available ingredients. Check it out on Wikipedia. I didn't know this until about six months ago, but I do recall my father calling it the Nazi pop. (Calling soda "pop" is regional.) I thought it was just because he didn't like it and was joking around, and never thought to look up its history.
Check out I.G. Farben corporation, too. What with Zyklon B and Sarin, plus all the slave labor, it's another nasty company we were in bed with during WWII. While parts of it became "separate" companies in a legal fiction, they really remained one. I don't know what all else is produced by them, but I try hard to avoid buying stuff made by Bayer and BASF (not EMTEC/BASF, the recording tape company), but BASF is impossible to avoid. When survivors of their slave labor are compensated, I'll change my mind. All the other Nazi companies have done that, so I don't see why they can't.
I know it does absolutely nothing to avoid them, Monsanto, Dow Chemical, Walmart, etc., but at least I don't feel guilty about giving them my money. There are plenty of other companies out there to choose from.
So is this like the Irish Buzzfeed?
+Isiana Carr-Coleman you bet your arse it is. :]
+Isiana Carr-Coleman *Better Buzzfeed. The one that doesn't shove liberalism down your throat.
You totally said it. :p
+Silver Pudding they got me hooked, well that and the wonderful accents. uuugghh xD
That Irish guy with the leather jacket's pure gold. Does he have any movie deals?
They had the Hawaiian Punch commercials on tv all of the time when I was growing up - the guy goes around dressed like a tourist, asking everyone in sight if they'd like a nice Hawaiian Punch - and POW! He socks 'em in the kisser! lol!
You've got to have ice with the sweet tea - otherwise it's not nearly so good!!
Mix some high-quality vodka in with that Hawaiian-Punch and it becomes a fantastic drink!
now that's what I call: Facts
sirJ1G 7 up and Hawaiian Punch is good too, vodka helps
J. B.J. Mix some Sprite in with cough syrup and it becomes INSTANT NYQUIL my nigga 10/10 would drink again!
I am an American, I can honestly say that some of these drinks. I never seen or heard of, except for 4.
1) Kool Aid
2) Arizona Sweet Tea
3) The Classic Root Beer
4) Hawaiian Punch
I guess depending on the country you live in the U.S. these beverages are around in your area.
Same, but I live in Florida.
Watching these I wish I could hang out with y'all! I agree with most of what you say (except peanut butter) and I'm 100% USDA American lol.
"What's the worst that can happen?"... "Diabetes"
I'm diabetic, the worst had happen, I'have weak kidneys.
"She's a rare species." I don't know why, but I died laughing there.
Tab? What the heck is Tab? I've never seen that is any of my stores.
You are just too young. It was very popular in the 1980s, as one of the first diet sodas.
Why do they give them the worst examples of American made food and drinks?
Seriously. Arizona is literally the most shit tea you can get.
Roadstar1602 Exactly, of course there not going to like these things. It's all poor quality or things most people don't drink anyway.
Because most of the popular stuff is things they already have/tried.
Because it wouldn't be entertaining to watch them eating/drinking stuff that tasted wonderful?
Jorge Ruiz I agree most of these I don't know
Did the person who came to America to buy the sodas go in the 1980s? Because no one has liked these sodas since then. Half of them I didn't know existed. Honestly! You want American sodas? Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew, Barqs/A&W/Mug Root beer. All good options.
Mikhela Kurzhal most of those soda's are available internationally
What are the odds of them never having a Coke?
I love TaB!
"Its made by dr pepper what the worst that could happen?"
"Diabetes."
Straight to the point haha
Do Irish people not have any sugary or artificially flavored drinks? I mean it's soda, what do you expect to be in it? lol
Exactly!
Yeah we do but Americans take the sugary and artificially flavoured drinks too far. Like damn, maybe I wanted some refreshing liquid with my cup of sugar!! haha.
haha well i'm not gonna argue with you there! what can i say, americans love sweet things
:) haha
I scored some orange Fanta bottled in Ireland. It was less sweet and much, much more orange-y than American version.
Hawaiian Punch is amazing
the song at the end is lit
Wtf is TAB I live in the us and have never heard of that
+Jackson Curtis It was the first diet soda. It was mostly popular in the 80's I think.
+Jackson Curtis ...I was so confused too...
I've heard of it a lot, and I'm only 17. It is a little obscure though.
+Jackson Curtis Have you seen "Back to the Future" ? There Marty McFly orders a Tab in the bar.
+hexagon523 I've seen the movie but I don't remember that scene. I'll have to look it up.
WTF IS TAB?!?!?!?!
SoCalSupercars en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tab_%28soft_drink%29
rbeck3200tb40 I have a bunch at my house lmao
rbeck3200tb40 It's still being made, but nobody drinks it. xD
We had a TAB energy drink made by Coca Cola here in Canada. Didn't last long. Maybe a year. But it wasn't black, it was pink. And in a slimmer can ._. And it didn't taste like shit coke lol
SoCalSupercars #2000's kid
American sodas: Coke, Pepsi, RC Cola, Dr. Pepper, Barq's and A&W Root beers, Mtn Dew, and grape, strawberry, and orange sodas. If you can find it, Sarsaparilla isn't bad. Very few actually use natural flavors.
sweet tea + Whiskey= AMAZINNNGGGGG
Bringing out unusual American fair, and calling it "tasting American", is a lil bit trying to score on the dramatic side, wouldn't it?
e.g., this video tasting sodas that are not usually consumed by Americans in general.
Dr Pepper is an acquired taste no normal American would actually wish to acquire. There are more Americans who would rather have chicken-liver soup than drink Dr Pepper.
Grape soda was brought over by Asian and Australian immigrants and who loved Fanta (and Ribena).
OTOH, Arizona being the improv of an Asian import, is indeed rather popular.
As popular as Ramen noodles, another imported culture.
Chicken liver soup is delicious
It's just americans drink the most soda in the world and also drink more soda than water. Last time I was there I saw 3-4 litre bottles of soda for 1-2 dollars
Right? I can't think of anyone I know in the last decade who has consumed grape soda, I've never heard of the ice cream float Dr. Pepper, and Tab? Did they pick sodas that people might have been into 15+ years ago?
Kavemanh18 and no, that would be Mexico.
I agree with all that, except I like dr pepper
That guy in the leather jacket is actually really hot!
And fricken hilarious
+Sandra “Michaelis” Ackerman I know right! Totally fangirling over him right now. >_
He looks like a rockstar biker Jesus
+Sandra „Michaelis“ Ackerman I ship him with curly head!
+Astronautical Films yep
How dare they hate TAB that is the soda choice of Marty Mcfly.
How do you think he got Parkinsons?
I can't give ya a tab unless you order something.
And don't forget Bobcat Goldwaith... hope I spelled that right. If I didn't I sincerely apologize Bobcat
@@spireet3160 - I think it's "Goldthwait", but you got "Bobcat" right.
“Red 40 sounds like a nightclub.”
“You wouldn’t want to have like Oregon Punch.”
😂😂😂 Who is this woman, and what happened to her?!
we don't even drink half of these drink...you forgot the Sprite,Coke,Fanta,Pepsi,7 up ,and I don't even know half of these brands
guillermo badillo Well we have all those drinks here in Ireland so there would be nothing new for them to taste!
Those drinks are pretty much sold everywhere so it wouldn't make for much of a video.
Well now you know what its like to assume what we eat
i mean what irish person eats bleeding haggis
Facts. They've actually got different ingredients in them over there! My sister's boyfriend is american and when he visits he always goes on about how different coke and fanta etc are here. I think ours are a bit healthier. I think they have different variations on the ingredients in a lot of countries. Buzzfeed tried American coke v Mexican coke and they all tasted a difference.
Dude... Fanta is german
TAB!? Seriously? You gave them TAB, the absolutely nastiest soda made in the US?
I'm surprised they didn't give them Crystal Pepsi.
Crystal Pepsi is the best
Moxie is the worst soda
Ashley Mc. I love Moxie. Definitely not popular though. We have the festival every year here.
I feel the worst soda we have is Shasta, but that could just be me,
TAB soda, I didn't realize Facts had a time machine.
i love their dryness, its hilarious
I love the dude in leather coat, he just kills me with his comments.
The guy in the leather jacket looks like one of the guys from Shrek, I mean that in a not rude way.
+Adrianna Wolfe Well....really it depends on who you think he resembles XD
I don't remember what the person's name was, it's been a few years since I saw the movie.
+Elizabeth Leaf maybe she means Robin Hood from the first movie.
+Adrianna Wolfe He kind of resembles the short noble guy that wanted to marry Fiona. xD
lol he does !
Ive never seen tht can of grape pop in my life 😂😂😂😂💯
same here
Love Root Beer, great video but do a part 2 with common American sodas...
Who's picking the food/drinks for these videos??? Let's get a real American to pick these just look at the comments!
+So Us Ikr wtf are these drinks?
I know right, they so should of had birch beer
I think they are all good choices except the Tab and the weird brand of grape.
These are good examples of American sodas. Probably more because I grew up in Florida and they're common down there. Tab is more classic.
+sarahtolkien Nah these are garbage I can think of 10 better examples of American soda than some random generic grape, an off flavored Dr. Pepper, Hawaiian punch (not even soda) or Tab which I'm sure most people thought wasn't even produced anymore as I did.
why haven't i seen anything that americans actually drink
because they don't wanna drink cheese
Spider Farms ltd. That makes no sense unless you're going for an insult that Americans are so fat they drink liquid cheese, but even then it's really stupid.
I drink Hawaiian Punch
iced tea, Hawaiian punch, grape soda, dr. pepper
He means the actually popular ones. And now you gonna say "but Dr.pepper is popular" But not that kind. the only one of those that i have every seen is any actually store here is the Hawaiian punch and have never seen anyone actually buy it nore actually look at it XD
Leather jacket man and curly boy are the best duo.
What is TAB? born and raised in America...never heard of it.
Keep it that way. It's horrible. It's a failed chemical experiment from the 70s that somehow manages to still exist because there's a few hundred people in one town that still drink the crap.
It's an early forerunner of Diet Coke.
Not sure what it is. Maybe a watered-down cola. What I do know that it absolutely SUCKS.
It's a soda from from the 1950s to the 1970s, and it gives a new meaning to the word nasty! Tried it once & it definitely left an impression on me and my tongue, won't be doing that ever again... LOL!
You know how Lunchcables used to have a generic soda with them, when kids would throw away the drinks after lunch the cans would be collected from trash bin, the remaining spitback and soda collected then poured into a giant vat. there it's gets more sugar added, some asbestos to kill the germs and left in the hot sun for a fortnight before it's canned into Tab.
you guys suck at picking our sodas. half of those I haven't even tried.
right!!!
We already have Coke and Dr Pepper and Pepsi and all that main stuff so obviously they use the other stuff that we don't have
+Aaron Ryan Y not A&W?
+Presto Puma A&W? What's that
Aaron Ryan a more popular American brand of soda which includes Root beer, Cream Soda, and others
this should be titled "irish people try off brand sodas that no americans have ever liked"
I wanna try the hawaiian punch, 100% vitamin c sounds good to me.
I'm American. I love soda. How come I never heard of half of these?
What the hell is TAB? lmao
Jayy Prime en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tab_%28soft_drink%29
Jayy Prime www.mspaintadventures.com/
Sarcastic Elephant it's like a game of spot the homestuck trash, i win
Jayy Prime I know right..i was like wtf.. im american and have never seen that in my life.
Jayy Prime "I'll have a tab". Can't give you a tab till you order something". Back to the future.
After watching all the buzzfeed taste test vids i still wanted to watch more and I stumbled upon this channel, I know what I'm doing for the next four hours.
Funny video guys! Root beer and Arizona Sweet Tea are the only drinks in this video that are mainstream in America. I love sweet tea!
omg I own those exact glasses
no one drinks tab!
Pagan Man I do. I've loved tab since I was a kid. you have to like the aspartame taste and subtle cola flavor with some fizz to like TAB.
Haha cool.
Tab is freaking horrible.
But who am I to judge? I'm one of about 12 people that actually likes RC Cola.
wingracer 16 with ya there. Royal Crown and moon pies. Southern up.
I love Tab I buy it whenever I see it
1) Never had most of those even though that's a cliche comment
2) Why are people so afraid of corn syrup. It's sweetener, made from corn. Are you telling me European sodas aren't processed? They have no sweeteners? Lol at that comment "Where is the grape"? All natural soda isnt a thing. Even something like it exists, it's not the common person's drink. It just makes them sound stuck up to me, but hey, still entertaining. I mean they talked about Dr Pepper and Coke. THOSE are popular American sodas and are just as processed as any of these >
Hapad Yamatt Of the two(Cane Sugar and Corn Syrup) it's the cane sugar that's actually the better for you.
But you should avoid both if you're that conscious of what you eat. You can get plenty of sugar just by eating fruit. The average person who doesn't watch what they eat and then is like "OMG HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP> WAT IS FRUCTOSE AND WHY IS IT SO HIGH?! ARTIFICIAL FOOOODZ" makes me roll my eyes
Why is it worse for your health than sugar. High fructose? Fructose is just a sweetener
Okay. I did some research and it seems to be the consensus that fructose is worse, but "only in excessive amounts not consumed by the majority of the population". So the hype stems from truth, but isnt as bad as people make it out to be as long as we dont overload.
Hapad Yamatt corn syrup is horrible for you. Actual sugar is better for you and usually tastes better, as shown in Mexican sodas. Pretty much everywhere other than America uses sugar instead of refined and artificial flavors that Americans use in copious amounts.
I love Tab
My grandma use to drink TAB all the time
