    Mine arrived this week and it’s amazing (Thanks #2)
    Unwrapping the oiled blade from the cling wrap I managed to just touch the edge 😳 and the “knick” was deep and clean.
    Well …… no need to worry about putting the blade back into its sheath “un-blooded” 😜👍🏻
    Incredibly sharp and awesome workmanship 💯✅

      I got one was in my grandpa's closet, has a small knick or crack in the spine it was never used came from these guys in 2003 . is imperfections normal? The crack is about a 16th or an 8th in. Where the spine meets the blade

      @mtn man That sort of thing can happen during the forging process. It's impossible to tell without looking at it. I'm sure if you contact KHHI, they will fix it or replace it.

    I will never get used to watching people carve wood by chopping at it with a khukuri. Just makes me so nervous to see their fingers so close!
    They are very skilled but, I'll stick to rasps and chisels.

    To set the record straight, KHHI did not design the Scourge. An Australian named Andrew (can't think of his last name now) did with the help of input from a forum. When KHHI failed to meet the quality he wanted he took his design elsewhere, that was about six years or so ago.
    Although KHHI was the original maker of the Scourge, they are no longer the official maker despite erroneous claims to the contrary.

    • @KHHINepal
      @KHHINepal  Před 2 lety +1

      Well what this guy told you is wrong. We don't have good terms so obviously he will lie n say bad things about us. We paid him to design the Scourge knife and he did the same. Later he got greedy along with some khhi's staff n started doing on their own. It's nothing to do with the quality or sort. It's just the case of greed n pride. You get that clear..

      @@KHHINepal I was there for the process and remember the original description you had on the blade. The proof is in the pudding, as people say and you obviously have little to no credibility with people who actually have a memory.
      You can claim whatever you want and try to rewrite history like a politician with an agenda but that does not change a fact.

    • @KHHINepal
      @KHHINepal  Před 2 lety

      @@turtlewolfpack6061 yes we had his name well written in our description for years even after he left as we wanted he credit him but then he started to defame us and started to brag about it that is when we decided to take off his name as he was already taking advantage of it. He may have designed it but we paid him to do it and happily did it for us. We even invited him to our place in nepal and he worked for us.

      I think you guys should once and for all sort this out face too face ,Scourge too Scourge .
      Last Man standing wins!!
      Now that would be interesting.And a fitting tribute for Scourge kukri it self.
      😋

    • @turtlewolfpack6061
      @turtlewolfpack6061 Před 2 lety

      @@cap10america42 I think both are great, I have had my KHHI Scourge for years, it actually weighs over 900 grams because back in the original version some made it out the door before final specs were hammered out and even at over 200 grams heavier than either current version it is still an awesome tool and has ridden with me for a ton of miles!
      I have to admit (even with my negativity towards KHHI) that I can't really fault the Scourge. I might one day get a newer version but do I really need two?
