I received my first KKHI Khukri British Service #2 last month and it came about 1 week earlier than expected.
I am very happy with the product, it's literally a work of art! Did some heavy work with it and it works flawlessly!
I've emailed back and forth with KKHI and received responses within a day.

I just got the Bhojpure Traditional Khukri with a giant 16.5" blade, It's magnificent, as is the sheath! This is a sword!

i bought one of these scourges from khhi when they first went on sale, absolutely beautiful knife but i did have issues with the handle, hotspots galore, took a file to the handle and removed the dimple on the underbelly of the handle and wrapped the handle in hockey tape, it's now perfect, fantastic bit of kit.
Thank you for sharing, that's surprising as the comfort of the handle is my favorite aspect of the knife...must have been a bad one off the line, glad you were able to fix it to your liking 👍

The kukri house does make great knives and uses the best delivery system out there. They keep you updated in actual time, for example when they said your knife arrived at your house look outside and they are right there. Customer service, satisfaction and time is unbelievable.

I purchased some knives from them just prior to Xmas,they are fantastic,I have since ordered a custom knife to my specifications and that is in the production line right now,but unknown to me because the first 2 orders prior to Xmas were over $300.00 per order I was entered twice in a Xmas draw they held and my name was pulled out twice and I received 2 free knives out of 5 in the raffle,the people running this company are wonderful and I hope anyone considering purchasing do so because you won't be disappointed,the Dbad Old War bowie is a masterpiece

Great video Joe! I'm also a customer of KHHI having purchased 3 DBAD designs! The OEF Defender, the Crogall and the Arkansas toothpick BEAST (My favorite large knife!)! These knives from KHHI are hands down some of the best knives I have! And I'm not done either... That Scourge got my attention the very first time I logged in to the KHHI web site and seeing you hold it, makes me realize what a huge and beautiful blade it is!!! Excellent video, and your production values are very impressive! I picked up an inexpensive imported Kukri way back in the 1970s after being impressed by some Gurkha demonstrations during my exploration of other cultures and religions. I've abused the heck out of it and it's held up impressively. (And BTW, I also habitually say Bow-ee instead of Boo-ee, so you're not alone in that.) Cheers!

Yes, I have seen from later pieces looking more refined, and the toughness and handmade feel is always there...I think they are a great value for some really bad a$$ builds...especially Dbad designs...I designed the "JD Tanto" for them that they sell

The only thing I recommend is to request a sharp edge if you require it as while there work is solid and well done, there edge is not as sharp as I would want them to be, I actually just designed a tanto that they are going to be selling on their site, thanks for being here buddy
For the record, I have owned and used a KHHI made Scourge for years, however the designer Andrew has since taken his design to another khukuri house and KHHI are actually no longer the official makers. That happened about 2015 or 2016.

@@JoeSteel1 oh I love mine, my wife got it for me one Christmas right before Andrew took his design to Kailash. That khukuri has traveled hundreds of miles with me, made a ton of fires and is a trusted companion. Mine does not have the pin in the finger guard like yours but there hasn't ever been an issue so not sure why they did that.
Where did he move too? Because I just bought a Scourge from KHHI and I think they burned me. UPS says that they do not have my package. I also got a completely separate email from a shipping service called "Quick Way" that KHHI uses and they said that they already handed it off to UPS be shipped to me. But that is completely untrue.
@@zephyr_924 he helped found Kailash Blades. As for the shipping issue I have had my fair share of issues with many companies, especially the scumbags at DHL.
@@turtlewolfpack6061 they have been sending me emails. One of them less than a week ago said dear sir the shipping label on UPS end hasn't updated but it will once your package reaches the US. Well that was almost a month ago. And just now I received an email back to the one I sent last night that was me asking does it usually take a month to arrive? Their email said dear sir, no it doesn't take that long at all I emailed our cargo shipping team to see what the problem is. At this point I'm firmly believing that someone stole it. No idea if I'll get a refund or if they will make my blade again. Either way I'm going to review them here on CZcams. If I get my blade it will be an honest review. If I don't, well it will be an EXTREMELY honest review.
Has anyone gotten the 11 inch or 15 inch?
You can put custom orders in for the blade length you want, just keep in mind, it might change the balance, maybe increase, ricasso or handle to compensate
You forgot to add the Khasa/Khas ethnicity who are the founders of the Gorkhas and are the real Gorkhas in the map scene.
