#Zelda #TearsoftheKingdom - Hry
It is never too early for the FUTURE
That’s an incredible sentence
The Imprisoning War would have been amazing to experience.
In my opinion I'd like a new series outside of the BotW/TotK timeline.
Ya but like similar mechanics because I like the mechanics like say a reinvision of old games in the engine and mechanics of breath of the wild
@@lazerwolf2016That’s what I thought TOTK was gonna be, so I hope the next Zelda is exactly that. Traditional Dungeons with special equipment & NO TERMINALS, proper weapon techniques like TP, linear story that doesn’t repeat the same dialogue, and for the Zelda team to realize it’s perfectly OK to not grant so much freedom (think Elden Ring, on how some areas are blocked until you complete tasks). Maybe just a game that celebrates Zelda and has all the best traits of each game, yet still has surprises and takes a step forward that TOTK really missed out on.
Thats...what another game would probably do...
Botw and took are not getting games like them that Zelda was finished with totk man
honestly, i would love a continuation of Hyrule warriors Age of the calamaty, sleeping beuty is still underneath the castle
Yeah, that's going to be a surprise... Although they have the champions so they should be fine... hopefully.
@@Mysticgamer i can see it happening, i did see the wiki saying that the game was one of the most best selling of the department, even beat all of theyr trilogy of theyr other games
@@hansiesilver2991 I hope they show the battles in the past because the war they showed looked like a skirmish.
Zelda indigo is what I hope the next zelda will be like. It's such an amazing rom hack and has elements of creativity similar to that of botw/totk, combined with classic zelda all in one.
i miss music/instruments being a factor in the game and i want them back ! OoT, Majoras Mask, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword all had instruments that played into the game but not all were revolved around them.
Wish i had the Song of Storms in Botw & Totk the way thunderstorms are in those games 😂 jp but fr INSTRUMENTS !
It’s very disappointing that there is no DLC planned for TOTK. The game has a lot of room for improvement.
Agreed.
DLC for a game THAT big?
A companion story with a playable Princess Zelda would’ve been a great DLC.
I still really wanted a huge dungeon that pierced all 3 layers of the game's playable space.
@@theoaremevano3227we could get that with next game, considering if they wanted to keep the same open air structure with the sky, surface and depths
One thing Next Zelda could use is getting to choose between playing as Link full-time or Zelda full-time and then having the open world's characters change reactions based on which hero you chose (and some challenges will likely have to be faced differently)
A live action version of Wind Waker with scattered islands and the entire depths of the ocean to explore would be an excellent trilogy to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
This all sounds really great, but I also hope that they get rid of weapon breaking and include more enemies variety like they had in previous zelda games
There is parts of the Tears of the Kingdom story it is missing out on which is Zelda's own adventure in the distant past. We have only seen glimpses of that through the Dragon Tear memories (or Zelda's memories) but they doesn't shown us much on Ganondorf's backstory (since Kotake and Koume are briefly made appearance and their names ware written in the Gloom weapons). Especially there is very little of the Zonai origins, very little moments for Link and Zelda since they are in a relationship, and not enough screen time for King Rauru, Queen Sonia, and Mineru .
A playable Princess Zelda would've been a great way to make a companion piece of the story (if Fujibayashi, Aonuma, and Nintendo haven't decided to canceled their DLC plans) since the plot is dived into two. This fresh concept has been a lost opportunity (Since Skyward Sword's Unfinished Second Quest) and the game would've make it up since the developers claimed this Zelda is the strongest of all versions.
Nintendo really needs to make a sequel of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity since Ganondorf and the Light Dragon (Zelda) exist in the alternate reality Terrako has created.
I saw somebody on CZcams with a video like this and it was titled Zelda: At Curse's End. Love that we're already talking the next Zelda game!!! Personally, I would love it if weapons wouldn't break anymore... but that's just me
Same. And more enemy variety.
the next zelda should bring back swimming underwater and could have more devices to make stuff to travel underwater and things could sink into the water and you use recall to quickly get out of the water.
Ok I Think It's VERY HUGE Good idea To The Next Sequel BOTW/TOTK Or The 5th era Zelda Game.
Tbh I want a Zelda game where I can put down my sword and straight up beating monsters
TLOZ : Throw 'Em Hands Of The Wild
Link is known for wearing heavy gauntlets that give him immense strength
Let me deck a motherfucker!
Wild boy
The hands rated E for everyone lol
In all honesty if they do that, it would probably be regulated to a "weapon" of gloves or gauntlets
I’m already thinking of story elements for next game if they decide to continue exploring this era. For villains returning, I kinda want to see vaati return. Only stronger and in control of the other elements of the sages not just wind. Would make an interesting challenge. Maybe link can also directly control the elements too.
As long as they don’t go turn based combat… make it more like Twilight Princess and make the world different, maybe a city?
Here’s an interesting video topic that opinions probably differ on quite a bit: How do you want the next Zelda’s Art Style to evolve?
Cool ideas in this vid. I miss these discussions.
They BACK!
The next Zelda game possibilities:
-Remake the NES games in a modern 3D era like never before imagined.
-Remake the Oracle games in one whole package that includes the originals and the unreleased 3rd game.
-A brand new Zelda that has better dungeons and combat in the manner of Twilight Princess. Of course a great balance between linear and open world. And for the love of God, they need to not have the Master Sword break!! It's the fricken Master Sword, not a Deku Stick.
-They can explore further into seafaring like Windwaker but somehow have it better paced for navigation on landmasses and islands.
-Or they could explore Outer Space like never before and tap into the sci-fi genre like Final Fantasy.
I had an idea that would allow players to alter the difficulty of the game while making for an interesting way to play. What if Link is set up and accused of kidnapping Zelda at the start? You'd be on the back foot for most of the game, being hunted by castle guards out on the roads looking for you. You could go off the beaten path through monster territory to avoid them or fight the guards. If you choose to fight them off, however, they'll start to get more difficult to fight. They'll notice you from further away and engage. They'll hit harder and take less damage. I thought it would be interesting to play as the hero behind the scenes, trying to clear his name instead of one running headlong into danger.
That's really cool and creative, it's a shame they wouldn't delve into that though
@Jake-vek They could. I drew inspiration from A Link to the Past for a little bit of that. Mostly the part early on when you rescue Zelda and get her to safety. After you head out, you can see wanted posters for Link. I just built off the idea from that.
I really hope it's close to a traditional Zelda than the last two. I don't need it to be wholly linear like Skyward Sword, but something closer to Xenoblade or FF7Rebirth than fully open world and storyless would be very appreciated.
Also wouldn't mind if it was a much shorter game.
Zelda actually taking on the RPG genre into the modern age would be an interesting direction for the franchise to take.
Especially since we have a combat oriented Zelda-esque series called Ys which imo you should check out.
I personally want the next “Link” to be either the child or descendant of BoTW and ToTK Link and Zelda.
I love BOTW and TOTK style. More of that please!
I'm planning to make new Zelda games someday with those versions by going to different lands, facing against invaders that want to conquer Hyrule, or with Link coming to the era of Hyrule's founding with Zelda this time.
The Botw/Totk version games have always been my favorite Zelda version, and if Nintendo won't do anything about it, then I will create some movies or games with those versions myself.
It's a dream of mine to keep these Zelda versions alive and to show them to the world one day, whether they're games or movies.
Mom suggests a tragic hero title.
Since Fujibayashi & Aonuma decided to move on from the Wild era, my hope is the next Zelda game have a much better established Link x Zelda relationship since these two have such a great chemistry as well done in both BOTW/TOTK & Skyward Sword. Don’t care what anyone or producer Eiji Aonuma or anyone has to say.
At this point, I just want a zelda 2 remake, and I want it handled by the same team that did metroid dread, mercurysteam I believe.
YES
What they should do is continue age of calamity timeline ganondorf is still there and the light dragon too still wonder how it will be played out i would love to have a game where it involves the ancient hero from the past to know its origins and where he came from too
I think we are getting another hyrule warriors for switch 2.
Hopefully a new 2D game or a remake too.
I lowkey hope Nintendo keeps up the tradition of one Zelda release per year be it a remaster or something new…
Hope we get a sequel to Age of Calamity.
I just want my favorite traditional dungeons back i dnt care about anything else, just give back the beloved dungeons like fire temple forest temple and water temple doesn’t have to be called that exactly but i want those massive dungeons to explore again with 3 mini bosses and a final big boss battle at end
I just hope they find a better middle ground between the linear, extrinsically rewarding gameplay of the older Zelda titles and the open-ended, intrinsically rewarding gameplay of the last two games. I liked Breath of the Wild, but it bothers me that Tears of the Kingdom's answer to "how do we improve upon the world we created" was wacky Zonai devices. I don't care for the sandbox nature of the game, especially since ToTK didn't do anything to incentivize creating complex structures with Ultrahand.
Reboot, reboot, reboot! Nintendo seriously needs that for this damn IP! This same old 3-part timeline ain't gonna cut it anymore.
What is a "reboot" going to do when nearly every game has its own identity
@@HMK Not in terms gameplay and single player story, dude. In terms of the lore. All the games are interconnected in terms of lore; yet most of them don't answer certain events or characters which only lead to further confusion and messy speculations. Nintendo should be put more emphasis in creating a more cohesieve and understandable continuity.
Need a version like oot. I’m over the destruction of weapons and mixing of random stuff to make potions. Having to worry about all that makes the game less interesting and more of a resource management focus. Get rid of the tablet with powers as well.
I hope they make an OOT Definitive Edition.
I'd want a full on remake
Totk unlike botw (base game) to me felt more complete so I was good without dlc. Zelda with Elden ring type of combat and totk exploration, classic dungeons would be cool. The gimmick I think could be elemental infusing on weapons which I don’t think they’ve done since phantom hour glass with the fairy’s.
Funny that you bring up God of War, cuz Ragnarök’s follower/combat system is precisely what I’ve wanted from Zelda since the experimental period with Hyrule Warriors 1. So imagine my excitement when TotK drew up a similar system using the Sages’ avatars 😆 to further that idea, it’d be interesting to see a traditional party system in a Zelda game, but at the same time I think Link being mostly solo is part of the appeal. Tbh I kinda miss the single companion format, but in the future they’d have to be stacked with magical abilities to measure up to the Sages.
Personally I’d like a revisit of older games in the form of botw/totk like say a majoras mask reimagined in a bigger scale of the new and climbing and stuff as well
But also maybe add some of the classic tools as well
I'm not sure what the future of holds. Will they make a third installment in the "Modern Hyrule" series, or will they take a break and try something new? I guess only time will tell what they decide. In my case, I feel like if they decide to make a third installment, they definitely need to rebuild Hyrule. I like the open world, but I hate that everything is essentially still developing. I feel like after all we've done, they should legit do a timeskip where everything's rebuilt and we get a more neon esthetic with everybody rebuilding different cities with all the Sheikah and Zonai tech, and we essentially get a Hyrule that has a cyberpunk feel. Think Zelda x Astral Chain. Either that or tackle topics that weren't really elaborated on. Like, what's up with the Blood Moon? How does it revive enemies? That could be something big for the third game. They could title it: The Legend of Zelda: Blood of the Moon! Plus, we don't need to have Gannon back. We could get a new villain, maybe a rogue Yiga named Vaati? 👀
Plot twist, Link becomes a samurai!
That would be amazing 😂
I can see Link being like Samurai Jack!
An actual Samurai? Meh, Samurai based attack options? Absolutely
I’d like the open land to be more like Skyrim with actual people and missions to unlock abilities, armors, upgrades, and smithing. I like your ideas HMK.
There are tons of missions and people in TotK.
But I do agree about Smithing 100%. The ability to upgrade/fix/prevent weapons from breaking is needed soooo badly
@@RhythmGrizz The possibilities if they implemented traditional rpg mechanics with an open world
I feel like Nintendo is gonna down a route where they are gonna start remastering the old titles , I feel like OOT is gonna get the resident evil 4 treatment. It’s gonna have the same story but with better graphics, new moves and items , and even enemies but that’s a huge guess
I soooo wish for this
Especially with full voice acting. And an orchestrated soundtrack. Ugh... just imagine
I think the way the Zelda team goes about figuring out what the next game will be about starts with exploring areas where they can innovate. Respectfully, making combat like God of War in and of itself is not innovative. It might be new to the Zelda series, but Ultrahand, the ability to climb anywhere, and vertical exploration were gaming innovations and what the open air Zelda games were built around.
This is also why it is impossible to predict when the next Zelda game will be. Pundits have been suggesting we have to wait 234234 years for the next Zelda game, but IMO this timeline is completely dependent on the technical complexity of the innovation.
BOTW trilogy. Game 3: outer space.
I want online features and diving action
Apart from however the gameplay may be, and with all the Zonai stuff & context they could work with, I DESPERATELY need either a Twilight Princess 2 or a Wild/Tears era game (perhaps in a new country other than Hyrule), thinly veiled as not being a Twilight Princess remake/2!
We'll get to see more of the Zonai people and the race (since we only see two in TotK), we'll get confirmation that the Interlopers were Sheikah/Zonai, and above all else, I desperately- I mean WE desperately need to see Midna again! (I saw some art of Zonai Midna and I need Nintendo to just YOINK that and put it in a game!)
Legend of Zelda with ToTK, classic 3D Zelda and Witcher 3 characteristics.
Ooh
Hmmm
The next Zelda game should be a continuation of the BOTW/TOTK timeline where we have Link, Zelda, and the newly appointed Sages travel to foreign countries/lands outside of Hyrule by sea ( since Penn and Sidon’s wife Yona are foreigners). Maybe see Kass. We end a proper conclusion to the trilogy with Hyrule being fully restored and Link x Zelda become a married couple.
If they decide to remake the original games in the current era style of play while they prepare for a whole new story, I'd like to see how they put that out there.
my wishes for the next Zelda game :
_the long lost TP sequel with a chance to meet Midna back.
_a game about the hypothetical "convergence" between the 3 timelines before BotW.
Yes, indeed. :D All that sounds great to me. I've wanted combat to get more direct initiative for a while now, and certain bosses have shown the series' potential for more robust combat, and its past reveals a very convenient way to aid players unused to advanced combat who would want an easier time with fighting. Key items having the ability to cripple bosses and enemies would be perfect to fit that need.
Having gear paths is something I've posited before as a way to even out the experience for players that favor different types of immersion. Upgrades can open up the world to you in very different ways, such as allowing more free and open movement to allow more unconventional solutions, or opening more restrictive paths that favor a limited number of solutions for players that found the 'do it your way' gameplay of TotK's temples unsatisfying.
Might also be interesting to see a more condensed world next time, with more emphasis toward vertical space. Much like Bethesda, I think it'd benefit Nintendo to try limiting their lateral space as a main design challenge. Would be a big help in separating the next title from BotW's aesthetic, which may be tough to break away from.
I feel like a Zelda game with more combat would be amazing. Link is told to be so powerful but we don’t get to see that in game, yeah sure he is powerful in game but he literally swings his sword left to right and nothing else,a skill tree would be amazing and maybe combos.
I want Tp story and fighting machanics along side its mature grim setting. Best game in my opinion
I wouldn't want a Zelda to be too grim as it would lose an aspect of Zelda's charm
I'd love a Zelda that follows the same Link and Princess Zelda from BOTW and TOTK but they travel to a different kingdom. There's still much to explore with those versions of the characters.
It’d be awesome but what else could they explore with Link and Zelda from BOTW and TOTK?
I'd say further expand on their relationship, more on Zelda's mother, where is Kass, possible playable Zelda, have her not be kidnapped or lost but instead be a constant in the story. Sure, it could be argued that some of these concepts could be explored with new versions of these characters but I prefer the BOTW and TOTK versions hehe :)@@ozero00rockon
@@andrescarnederes2295 Awesome ideas!
I'd like them to bring back the Ocarina of Time Elements. Bring back Forest, Light, Shadow and Spirit.
I would Love A Link Between Worlds on Switch and or Switch 2
Dnk about looking at anything god of war gotta be honest but I guess I see your point on combat things
I’m pissed that link in totk had the same move set nothing new with using his sword
I want that tech demo from 2011
You want Twilight Princess 2?
I just want an FF7R-level remake/re-imagining of Ocarina of Time with full voice acting, camera control in HD, and a base level sword/master sword that doesnt break or need to be "re-charged"
Honestly cant really stand how even the restored master sword in TotK still "runs out of energy". Then how tf did it hold up in the last zelda games?
Master sword should be legendary and untouchable by evil.
I had a dream once that they did this to TP, they even lengthened the story and everything
I feel like Tears of the Kingdom would have been the best Zelda game, but instead it only ties Breath of the Wild as my favorite Zelda game. I would like to see one more game of this incarnation of Zelda and Link but I doubt that will happen. One the they should have done is make Zelda playable so maybe the next game. Perhaps the next Zelda game will help us to better understand Tear of the Kingdom and lore of the game. Thus leaning to like the game better. Zelda games in the past had a lot of hate for a while, but overtime people learned to love them.
How about a spin attack that let's Link hover over gaps?
That's can be an option, a floating hurricane spin
@@HMKI gotta be honest, Smash inspired my idea for it.
Zelda
Since the 3D Zelda is a long way. I want a top down Zelda or a new Hyrule warriors
My thoughts is, throw us a curve ball and go back to a linear story, but with a full 7 day MM Style cycle, with meaningful rewards.
Developing a 7 day cycle sounds like a nightmare and a nightmare to keep track of
@@HMK definitely, not wrong. But on that scale, kinda exactly what I'd want. Have 2 playthroughs one linear, one open world. Both expanding the story and lore in its own way.
Lets a gooo
Cool Zelda Title Name:
The Legend of Zelda
A Link Between Legends
UK if thet were gonna do a dlc I have a idea and I know the perfect reward it be called trial of the dragons so we put the sword in Zelda dragon and it powers up but what if we travel back in time to the other dragon and the sword break into three parts each dragon has a part we do trials we get the master sword back and the sword a
Has the three elements abilities and we get the bike in botw but it has wings like a dragon
The next Zelda I hope is set in a different kingdom or land instead of Hyrule. I personally think Hyrule Kingdom needs to take a small break. Also more combat prowess for my boy Link please Nintendo? I was a bit disappointed that the only other skill that can be learned is the Yiga earthwake technique. Perhaps bring hidden skills back.
Please sort the sound out in your videos dude!!! ❤
I wouldnt mind a Zelda game set in the 1920s or 1930's
If you are talking about them tackling an inspiration of a specific age, sure, but to say like real-world dates is a bit off
@@HMKI dont mean to like real world. I mean in its own aesthetics that resemble the 1920's or 1930's and such. I saw an old youtube comment that said that they be interested in a Zelda game set in its own 1920's but in its specified age. Theres old concept art where they had characters from a hi-tech future messing around in the medieval past. Besides with magic evolving that mirrors out real world tech, I can see the next title set in the industrial age like the 1800's to the 1930's. Im just saying.
@@HMK Actually I Like That Idea Where We Learn From Our Own HISTORY
hi HMK
I just want The Legend of Zelda X Rune Factory
Tears of the kingdom was fun game.
I want sheikah technich
Best thing about this is that Nintendo is very likely working on the next Zelda game right now
Oh I believe it
Give me multiverse zelda crap. Mix all of em together. Especially the weirdest one's like majoras mask and zelda 2 nes hahahaha. Let's make the 3rd one insane. Even super different if we have to. I don't care I just want the most intense zelda ever lol. Just make me get lost in a crazy world and make me feel a great escape like you always manage to : )
To me zelda is the crown jewel of all video game franchises. No game franchise is perfect, but to me this one is the closest to perfect that you can get. I hope they deliver a real crowd pleaser like they have in gaming history time and time again about a dozen times now for what? Going on 40 years now holy crapp! Every few years you can count on the zelda franchise to make you happy. You can confidently say to zelda fans every where, soon we'll get something awesome! It's a great feeling to know the franchise is still in good hands after all these years and is just going stronger alllll the time : )
And do me a oot reimagining like how ff7 rebirth is but of course, not that kind of rpg combat, something more similar to breath of the wild/oot of course : )
I bet this idea could make a sick homage to oot, arguably the best game ever made : )
That's my wishlist but whatever they end up doing, I'm prolly down : )
JUST NO HORRID MICROTRANSACTIONS! like cod! Keep that stuff out of our good games. Leave that crap for the meh/trash games lol.
A Zelda game with Kingdom Hearts like combat...🤔
I wouldn't want it leaning too much into that as it will start to not being Zelda
The next game will turn out fine as long as the dev team follows their own intuition and ignores the fans.
I think it's essential, that Eiji and the dev team keep hearing the fans' critique to build an even more successful Zelda game. Not to the brainless rants and banking, but to the constructive aspects of the negative critique.
@@BelatucadrusAonuma and the dev team do not hear fans because nobody in the fandom knows what they're saying, where the most simplistic of plot points (Memory 6 of ToTK) will shoot past people's heads because nothing is explicitly stated.
yeah your combat idea, ONLY if they pull the finger out and put WARNING LIGHTS for attacks like those god of war games did. FUCK THIS DARKSOULS STYLE COMBAT!!!!! all it does is give a middle finger to us visually impared gamers who grew up wioth the franchise
yes i rate botw at eht bottom of official zelda games (CD-I games dont count) only ones above at the bottom are the two on DS cause of again how punishing they were to the disabled. ten the original skyward sword for same reason. and yes, i grew up with this series since the NES and ill eagerly go back to zelda II before i ever go back to botw. least zelda II felt playable and fair if you were disabled. now the skyward sword remaster i dont rate nearly as low and i loved the idea of upgrading our items

Honestly, as long as the game feels different from the rest of the series and does its own thing, and includes the core elements of a Zelda game (not necessarily equally), that's all I wish for
Tears of the Kingdom’s DLC were the patches trying to remedy the duplication glitches lol
After breath and tears of the DLC I'm not sure I even feel excited for the next one TBH. If it's going to follow in that format idk man
Same bro tbh
im not anywhere near ready for another zelda
Well, we always know there's a new one. It's just fun to think about especially since it'll be completly new again. New artstyle and story. New game mechanics. Fresh start.
Yeah i get it but totk wasn't that long ago. I'd feel guilty/ungrateful if I wanted a new zelda now@@Joy_Boy77733 . Especially since there's other franchises that dont get games as often as zelda and could use a lot more attention
I’m ready for Twilight Princess to be on the switch! 🐺
Yeah ig that's understandable but thinking of another game now makes me feel guilty since many franchises don't get nearly as many and as frequent releases as zelda@@Joy_Boy77733
Next zelda? Maybe in 10 years 😂
Will be open world biggest let
First

Why are you here?
sorry@@HMK
no no no no more you can do whatever you want, i want linearity we need an actual story this is why i hated botw and totk the story sucked soo bad sorry but if you dont like linearity in your games then you dont like Zelda
You'd probably still be getting linear zelda if Skyward Sword hadn't sold so bad.
@@battlesofparadise it sold bad because of the controls which have been fixed
@@boughtinbloodendless7813 No it didn't. The controls were fixed, and yet SS on the switch still sold bad.
Lol this couldn't be anymore wrong, one of Zelda's main identity points is exploration, which they were able to bring to a level they always wanted to with BOTW & TOTK, if you want a game to hold your hand the whole way, then I think YOU don't like Zelda lol
@@HMK pretty bad take there bud zelda always was a story puzzle combat game not massive open world exploration the first zelda was like that sure but all the 3D games not a chance dude I think you need to go play them again or actually maybe not because you probably wouldn't like them since your a botw/totk shill I had fun the first playthrough of each but they had crap dungeons crap puzzles and crap story something in the middle of the two formulas would be perfect but I don't think nintendo is going to do that
