- Got new springs installed on the Jeep SRT. It sits so high I felt like it was a must do to eliminate some of the wheel gap and improve handling. I wish I was able to film the install but wasn't able to. If you are in the market for some springs and want the same ones click the link below.

My springs came in today the excitement is so real
That’s awesome! You’ll definitely like the stance and ride once you get them on
Got a 75th anniversary Laredo. Thinking about getting this same kit. Do you recommend it still?
Don’t got a srt or track hawk but I got the 21 jgc 80th edition v6 and I absolutely love it, great vid bro subscribed💪🏼🤟🏼
The 80th edition is nice bro and that v6 is still no joke! Thanks for the sub I appreciate it!
Facts💯💯💪🏼💪🏼
Great video
I just wish you did it outside sometimes the contrast gets dark here and there but over you made a great video on these Eibachs
Thanks bro yeah after I did it I realized I should have waited until the next day to film in the daytime but still learning lol thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
Do you have the tow package? If so, did it require you to change shocks?
No I don’t have the tow package and no you don’t need to change shocks it’s not a crazy drop so it’s fine with stock ones
did tna do a great job. i also live in ny with a srt. how much they charged?
Yeah TNA is a great shop. I go there for everything you should def check them out and ask for Allen he’s the owner he’s a chill dude. I forgot the exact price I want to say $400?
I did mine and something is hitting in the right rear. Mopar did the work it's been back 4 times. They tell me it's the gas tank hitting the bottom of the jeep to put rubber between the tank and the body. Did you have any issues like that.
No not at all that’s really strange. What size tires/wheels you running?
can you give me the link to those springs? I have a 2015 srt and i am having problems with the camber on my wheels

I’m pretty sure those are them just confirm they fit your Jeep before you buy them!
One thing I forgot to ask, being lowered in the front now have you had any kind of rubbing or scraping? That would be my only concern with lowering the front.
Nope no rub at all
@@Lagolifestyle awesome thank you very much greatly appreciated.
@@joewhite9459 no problem 👍🏻
So what's next? I did the pro springs last year, Kooks cat back a couple months back, and did the JLT install on Saturday. Btw, that hose clamp you made mention of in your JLT install video did suck. Ran out and bought longer pliers to make it easier to rotate. Did your air box shield also have a barbed pin connected to it? They never made mention of it in the instructions and I lost skin and some blood over it.
Nice!! How do you like the kooks exhaust? Yeah that clamp was a pain it took me a good 20 mins to figure out how to finally rotate it and I almost broke it lol. Yeah the bottom of the stock air box had a wire with a barbed pin stuck to it for some reason. I struggled with that too and like you said it was never mentioned before so I thought mine was maybe messed with by the previous owner or by the dealership. Sucks to hear you lost some blood over it though.
@@Lagolifestyle The Kooks cat back is nice. Not too loud yet has a very nice tone to it. I like that it has a bit of back rap to it. It also sits a little lower than stock and gives the rear a little more aggresive look. The cuts on my hands worked out perfect. I told my wife I couldn't wash the dishes haha.

Hi there just subscribed I have an all black 2018 srt and I highly recommend getting a pair of Durango srt rock guards from zl1 addons they fit perfect and will help lower part of the doors from rocks and sand
Hey man thanks for the sub I appreciate it! I just looked those up and they look cool you put those Durango ones on a Jeep SRT? Also how do they hold up? It says there’s no drilling just custom clips.
@@Lagolifestyle yes I have a 2018 they are a hard thin plastic just a couple of small holes and some self taping screws
@@garrettkross704 I wish I could see them on a Jeep. I watched the Durango installation on the zl1 channel and it looks really good.
How is your ride Quilty and how does it ride over bumps and bumpy roads
Ride quality was good it was a minor drop but it felt more centered and handling on corners was so much better! The bumps didn’t feel much different than stock
Did you get the Eibach pro kit or the special edition?
Pro kit
Overall how did you like the kit before you bagged it? Looking at doing the same kit.
The kit was good I had no issues with it. Definitely looks better than over stock
Thanks, I'm planning on this in the spring when I get new tires, figure I'll install the lowering kit then get new tires and an alignment. I do a lot of traveling so I don't want something to aggressive of a drop and to affect the ride. I've thought about bagging but don't want to lose my spare tire.
@@TomBadgero I get that either way you won’t be disappointed
Question, what size tires do you have, because I have 315 35 20s with the eibach lowering springs and I feel rubbing. could it be that the tires are too wide 🤔?
I still have the standard pirelli run flats that came when I bought it. I believe they are 295/45/20 so that’s probably why I don’t rub at all. I’m going to be jumping up to 305s next but I think I read that 315s will rub with springs.
@@Lagolifestyle appreciate the info I guess I'll be buying some tires tomorrow smh 🤦 I have the special edition lowering springs on my jeep srt looks great 👍 but I feel rubbing and the car at times doesn't move on its own on drive and when I cut the steering wheel its annoying
@@victorinob3794 yeah that might be too much rubbing hopefully a new set of smaller tires will do the trick. I wanted to put those same springs on mine but I thought living in Nyc area I’d be having the same issue a lot of rubbing from the shitty roads here
@@victorinob3794 did the 305s help with rubbing. Im about to try the special editions as well
@@Lagolifestyle i got the eibach lowering springs and 275/ 50/ 20 shouldn't have any rubbing right or what do you recommend for my 20 inch rims? i lowered the front by .6 nches
I converted from Quadralift to Eibach lowering springs and my jeep feels like its bouncing over everything. The ride quality is terrible. Did you ever change your mind about the Eibach springs and the ride quality?
I liked it for when I had it but then I switched to air suspension and that was just a game changer.
Did you leave the stock shocks?
Yea for now. I’m putting on a bwoody suspension kit and then I’ll probably change the shocks but so far no issues at all
How much should I expect the labor to cost around?
To be honest I don’t remember I want to say maybe $400 and then I went to get an alignment but 3 years later it’s probably a bit more
Bro can u send me link to the springs or what kit is it
It’s in the description
How much did it cost to get installed?
Don’t remember I want to say $400
I just bought my 19 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. Im thinking about lowering my jeep. How does your jeep handle since you lowered your jeep
It handled a lot better than stock and the ride felt a bit better too!
@@Lagolifestyle ok. Do you still have your jeep? How much did the shop charge you to put the lowering kit on?
@@mikeanderson9613 no jeep is long gone and I don’t remember I want to say $350 but don’t quote me on that
where did you get the black rims and name of it
I got them powder coated gloss black. It cost around $600 to do. I have a video on the before and after if you want to check it out
@@Lagolifestyle send me the video link. also the black grill was coated too?
Could you please tell me who did the gloss black powder coating on ;your rims also how much did it cost and how long did it take. Thanks. Ps I’m new to your channel and I think your girlfriend adds a nice touch. LOL.😂😂😂😂
Haha I know I need to get her in more videos! I got the wheels done at garage 224 in farmingdale they are awesome group of guys. I believe it was $600 for the powder coating. $150/wheel and they really came out amazing! I appreciate you checking out the channel and the sub!
Did the springs make your ride more bumpy?
To be honest it felt a little bumpy right after I got them done but after they settled it felt good I hardly notice it at all. Handling definitely improved.
@@Lagolifestyle last question what about the nyc streets and potholes how do they handle?
@@ColisiemNucci it’s really not bad at all. Since we both know nyc streets are shit that’s why I picked these springs it’s a small drop nothing crazy. I hit a couple small potholes and it was fine it feels stock after the first week after install and imo looks so much better. Hope that helps
Wow 💟
Do you still recommend TNA Motorsports?
Hell yeah they are the best shop in the tristate by far. Ask for Allen
@Lago TRX cool thanks for the quick response. I actually spoke to him earlier today but then I figured I'd ask because this video is old enough where things may have changed. Glad to know you still recommend them. I'm definitely going to them for what I need done thanks again.
Fire
Thanks for the sub! I appreciate it
Trying to convince my baby sister to do this! She's not feeling it smh, We'll see!
😂 definitely worth it
22" wheels will not fill up the wheel well more because you need to keep the same overall size, the rim will be bigger but the tire will be lower profile. I can't believe more people haven't actually figured that out yet because I hear so many saying the bigger rim will fill up the wheel well more. It will fill the wheel well nicer because of the bigger rims.
That’s true but it also depends on what size tires you get. The 22s will definitely look a lot better with this drop then how it currently sits with the 20s. I guess we will see lol thanks for checking out the video!
@@Lagolifestyle I'm sure you know the reason you want to stay as close to the proper circumference, It's to keep your speedo correct, wrong size tires and your speedometer will be off. I'm looking at some 22's and I think the tires will be 305/35 if I remember correctly. I went with a low pro tire on my Lexus and it did not affect ride quality I'm hoping it will be the same with the jeep.
@@joewhite9459 that’s exactly the size I’m going for as well. I think it should sit nicely with the little drop from the springs but won’t really know until it’s done. Hopefully it looks the way I want it to and like you said ride quality won’t be affected much
@@Lagolifestyle Ok cool, so the overall size will be pretty much the same but I think it will look like it fills up the wheel well because of the bigger rims. I'm looking at the Savini BM 14's It'll be nice if all 4 of them concave a little, I love that look
@@joewhite9459 savini are nice! I’m leaning towards the velgen wheels just cause I like the classic 5 spoke look. Hopefully get them in a couple of months
stock wheels?
Yes stock 20” wheels
@@Lagolifestyle looks nice

@@Lagolifestyle I got a limited edition. Couldn't afford a srt. But I still happy with my choice.
@@jorgeortiz3565 I had a limited before I got this. You can’t go wrong with that v6 either it’s still a beast!
