- Today I kidnapped a queen ant from my massive big headed ant colony!
They were being stubborn and did not want to move her out of the old nest so I needed to step in and take matters into my own hands!
- Ant Species: Pheidole rhea

So true
i really like it when a badly hurt animal is still able to make a comeback and live a relatively normal life. And no, i dont like it when animals get hurt, i just like it when they can make a comeback.
You like injured animals? That get better? You actually have morals.
You like animals get badly hurt?
Yeah the comeback this queen made was amazing!
@@lmhla1071 are you blind?
@@tommygurl29061 ye he is
it's actually mind boggling how advanced an ant colony is
If they where 2x bigger they would be dangerous
@@leady_the_leaf_who_has_beef new fear unlocked
Kang The Conqueror
Yeah i agree. Like they flippin have jobs
@@leady_the_leaf_who_has_beef well. Flamethrowers are still a thing:)
That’s actually crazy that the ants escorted the queen to safety because they knew of danger on the other side 😭
Ants 🐜 are very smart, they protect the Queen 🐜 instinctively it's like they know without her nothing would survive or exist they'd die off.
@@Eudjier it's pheromones. The ants getting out and sucked up/near it were sending out fear/distress hormones, signalling others to run and protect their queen.
@Eudjier if ants are so smart, why the hell do they keep coming back to my room knowing a human lives there and will kill them with no hesitation
@@EudjierI don’t know anything about ants so this may sound obtuse - but when the queen eventually dies - is there like a next in line to the thrown waiting in the wings?
@@aleksbulgarianno it isn't. They're her slaves. They're so hardworking.
I sometimes wonder how I am terrified of insects and bugs, especially in large quantities..
Yet I have a fun time watching this.. 😂
Hahaha yeah it’s always fun to watch someone else do it😂
@@LightsCameraAnts exactly ✨
yes but see him sucking up the ants was satisfying
i am not terrified of ants but that zoom and that large quantity made me terrified
are still father less jelly bean enjoyer....
I think the reason they didn't move the queen is that the old nest still suited their needs better and was still the main nest.
Or they were using both nests because their colony was just that large.
I'm sure you agree that physically moving the Queen yourself is a last resort for if you need to get ants out of an old nest so making them want to move instead is usually a lot better and its always worrying when the stubborn ants have other plans.
Yeah it was definitely a last resort for at least a couple reasons. Their old setup was a maze of tubing and it didn’t look all that organized. The other reason was because I needed their old nest for another colony rather soon. I’m hoping I can prepare to move them soon!
Just imagine, this Queen births that entire colony... I wonder what would happen if we put another building next to it and expanded the house? She'd grow it... I wonder how many colonies it would take for another Queen ant 🐜 to be born?
@@Eudjier I'm no expert but I don't think Queen ant's lay "princess" eggs. The ants that have wings (forget the name) fly off and mate with other ants i THINK.
@@jaywerner8415
So how do you get Queen 🐜 to be born then? Like this isn't the only Queen ant that there can be.
@@jaywerner8415 actually the queen does lay princess eggs. the queen lays an egg that naturally have more of this insulin like protean in their bodys, and the worker ants will feed and fertilize them better eventually becoming a Queen.
also the queen selectively chose which eggs get fertilized. the fertilized ones will become infertile females, unfertilized will become fertile males (called a drone) and the males only purpose in life is to mate with the queen and die shortly after
Ant soldiers: PROTECT THE QUEEN!!!! EVEN IF IT COSTS YOU YOUR LIFE!!

YAYY
Their dedication to save their queen 👑🔥🔥🔥
Sir know I cannot see the comment.
She's not just their Queen, she's also their Mom
You said it, to them she is not a Queen 🐜, it's their Mom.
I have never felt this self-righteous after feeling bad for the vacuumed ants
Reminds me of when I was 5yo and there was an old dog house at my neighbor's that had an ant nest in it. The roof was rotting away so we peel it back to see thousands of ants and their larve. Really an unforgettable sight. Great video!
ive always thought of doing this while seeing them shift homes and carrying the queen on their backs. thanks for doing this and saving their home from me
i love how some would help the queen hide and every one else would protect her.
The intelligence of them is incredible. Escorting the Queen to another place and becoming reluctant.
It’s funny how the ants escort the queen like secret service agents after an assassination attempt. 😂
Some things are just parallel to the world from insects to politicians
This had my skin crawling 💀
it awesome to see how advanced they are by sacrificing themselves to save the queen
you have saved an entire ant colony, amazing job
😂 forget that, breed it until another Queen 🐜 is born
@@Eudjier you do realize that can't actually happen right?
Imagine getting bite by a LOT of ants it would be so painfull
Lucky the minor worker ants are rather small and I don’t feel anything with they bite
@@LightsCameraAnts what about the big ants?
This video was amazing! I recommend that you push through with more videos like this since they are really entertaining.
Thank you so much! Yeah I love making videos like this! Hopefully I can continue to make more!❤️
@@LightsCameraAntshave ever caught a fire ant queen?
0:45 Rip cute ants 😭
"I inhaled these ants through this metal straw" famous out of context last words..
Great video! I felt like I was watching a lifetime drama! Can't wait for more!
Wow, you must be brave to have all of these ants!
Great video! This is the first one I saw, and It exceeded my expectations. Keep it up!
Those ants are smarter than I thought because the workers is evacuating the queen and protecting the nest (even tho they are getting vacuumed)
I never really liked bugs but I remember that bugs are the most interesting thing to look into
i admit, ants are epic, they did everything they could
At an old job, one time I brought in a ton of ants by accident and they managed to create their own colony without a queen, it was nutty, they had survived for weeks in some desktop panel. They even went out and back to it. There was no queen, just a bunch of crazy ants.
MY Q U E E N
Stealing a queen will cause major effects on a small colony, so I'm glad you didn't take it from a small colony that really needed the queen.
So excited for the next video of the very big ants! Cant wait and your videos are very fun to watch.
It’s planned for at least a month or two in the future! I’m hyping it up now to get people excited because it’s going to be an amazing video!
Yes
I watch your reels all the time, I didn’t know I’d enjoy a longer video. Keep it up!
That’s awesome to hear! Yeah I’m falling in love with long form videos that have a good story to follow along with! I definitely will be making more!
Since I need to say something here's a not so fun fact they fly now and the queen ant is huge size of a wasp
props to this man and his lungs of steel
Queen ants are bigger then I thought 👸 🐜
i thought you would teach us how to antnap a queen ant from the ground🤣🤣
nice video btw
Hahahaha maybe one day!
I never thought that my Entomophobia will allow me to watch this video till the end. But for some reason I kinda like this Queen concept in insects. (I still don't like them altogether.. but yeah) It was a nice video man 👍🏻❤️❤️
I love how they helps queen ant lol it’s so cute! ❤

It’s pushed back to later in March because we want to have more species on the site when we launch as well as some nests to offer

Amazing video keep up the good work. It was a bit funny how she rolled out of you hands haha
Also does it hurt being bitten by the queen
Thanks! Yeah it definitely was funny watching her just roll off 😅
Oh wow your so brave 😮 I freak out when 1 JUST 1 ant gets on my hand and you searched and picked up an entire ant colony just with your hand! Your so brave 😅
The queen is proud of you
Wow! The entire episode seemed like a movie sequence. Amazing patience, bro!
Long live the Queen!
He just vacuumed those ants out of existence 😭
you WHAT!?!? 2:26
Why am I watching this at 3:00 AM😭😭😭
This nest looks so cool where did you find it?
When I saw the thumbnail and the title,I was like:
WHY WOULD YOU KIDNAP THE MONARCH AND DISOBEY THE ANT LAW?!😂
You are trying to kidnap the queen ant.
Ant colony: "you challenged us human"😂
Ants are so fascinating.
I am terified of bugs, yet this fascinates me, lol.
you have no idea how many times i’ve watched this btw this is the most entertaining video i’ve seen so far
Imagine what the ants that didn’t get sucked felt like
-Hey queen we are being attacked, wait QUEEN?!Where are you?!
The whole time im thinking 'how satisfying would it be to light the entire nest on fire'
Could you feed them a very small (dead) bird? Or separate it a little so it fits? I really wanna see how they will take off the feathers and if they keep the bones

I learned a whole lot about ants in this video
When I watch videos like this i start to feel it on my body🐜

Nice video bro,👍 it reminds me of my old days when I was a kid.
Ants during transport : 'where is my QUEEN? where is my QUEEN? '
Human: Give you a cockroach.
Ants: peace.
Absolutely amazing to see how smart these ants are
I like watching the bees 🐝 they're also very smart.
You can’t do that to the Queen, the ants will never forgive you…
Hey Stephen 👋
Poor ants they never know we watch them from CZcams just to binge watch haha😂😅
I needed this video to progress in my life for some reason
For some reason i was expecting a bad ending where he got frustated enough searching for the queen that he would burn the whole colony down.

Me too! It’s hard for my editor and I to make a new long form video every single queen but we do our best to upload quality content as often as possible💪
At 3:04 I think I can see a queen in the bottom left corner.
Props for the one who counted the 2000 ants
Good stuff! Did you take a class in editing or something? This video feels so much more engaging! The music and cuts.
Glad the queens chillin.
Thank you so much! I would actually like to take the time to thank my brother who’s also my editor for making this video possible! He’s an amazing editor, and I’m great full for all the hard working hours he’s out in! It means everything to me to have such a supportive family!❤️
I watched this video on full screen And there was An Ant on my device And i thought it was one of the ants from the video 3 seconds later it bit me im horrified
Oh man😂
The Queen ant was gorgeous 🐜😍
Ants have different faces for each individual. They must have different personalities!
My brother in Christ, I hope you have a filter on that aspirator. Otherwise RIP your lungs. Anyways. When I have a queen that won't move I use heat or cold to get her to move. I put a reptile heat pad next to the colony and connect it to their new home and they leave right away.
I've also had success using ice packs (depending on the time of year and species I don't want to subject the ants to anything they won't find in nature or that could hurt them, just make the old nest uncomfortable)
Anyways nice colony I guess?
I really need a filter! Where do I get one?!
Your videos are so interesting! Keep it up. I’d love to see more!
Thanks for watching the vids I’m so happy to be able to make videos like this!
I wonder what each individual ant was thinking as it was experiencing being vacuumed up?
Dude's wife: You didnt get the lawn cut again did you, genius?
