  • This customer wanted the best for their Ford F-350 7.3L Godzilla Tremor, so we installed a Carli 2.5" Pintop level system with 37" Toyo AT3 tires wrapped around a set of -12 offset Method NV wheels. This rig is ready for whatever overlanding or camping the customer can throw at it!

    I love my AT3’s, these tires gripped hard in the rain and we’re difficult to break traction . I’m extremely impressed so far.

    I drive the 7.3 gas in my work ford. Great engine and trans combo for performance. Not on mileage. Thing chugs gas, range is for less than a diesel truck

    I don't care what anyone says: those 7.3 gas F350s are still sick af. I could do the 6.7 or the 7.3. Both are beasts IMO.

    If you’re going to put a heavy bumper and winch on the front, does it make sense to order the pin top setup for the diesel?

    Using factory leaf pack in back and having that weight...what should we expect with off and on road behavior in the rear end?

      This build did include the Carli Add-a-pack on the rear. It's used 50% with a travel trailer and 50% without. Off-road behavior has been very good.

    I thought the only shocks available for the gas engine was the Carli signature series. Also I’m going to level my 7.3L with a -12 605nv and 37’s. Did you need to run the Carli radius arms?

      Currently you can get those or the Carli King 2.5s, and Fox options are on the way! Radius arms aren't necessary, but help with off road ride and handling!

      Was considering either of these for my new F350 7.3 but now really looking at Falken Wildpeak AT’s. I want minimal road noise. 35’s.

      @@jeffreylc I haven’t had the falkens but I’ve driven on a bunch of others and the ridge grapplers are the quietest in my opinion. So quiet that I ended up chasing a exhaust sound for months.

    Never knew ford had rear shock mounts so far away from the wheel in the f-350. I've seen that on 1/2 ton chevy's but not 1/2 ton fords.

    Another great video and nice Ford F350 with Carli Pintop suspension. Needs a CJC Off-Road made rear bumper. Don't like any 4WD truck with aftermarket front bumper - Ranch Hand; Additive Desert Designs; Buck Stop; etc. without the matching aftermarket rear bumper. Trucks with aftermarket front bumpers and OEM rear bumpers look weird and have poor aesthetics.

    As a lead fleet mechanic , better have an ass load for the fuel bill!!! Average 5 mpg on a f450 7.3 gas with a bucket lift . And I’ve seen guys come in with 3mph straight pedal to the medal because spectrum pays the fuel bill. Bad ass truck otherwise.

      This rig gets 13-14 MPG by itself and 9-10 MPG towing an 8000 lb rig. Not great, but much higher than your fleet.

    Do you know what the fender height comes out to be on a 2022 f250 tremor with this lift and 37s?

      Assuming both trucks are on 37s, roof height is 86” for the 4.5/5.5” and 84” for the level height system. The level height kit has a 60.5” bed rail height and the 4.5/5.5 system has a 62.5” bed rail height.

    Will adding a Carli suspension to a new 2022 Ford F350 Platinum Tremor with 6.0 diesel void the Fiord factory warranty? I'm really interested in upgrading the suspension when my new Tremor arrives BUT I do NOT want to give up the warranty that comes with the crazy cost of a new truck! Is there a way to do the upgrade WITHOUT negatively effecting the factory Warranty?

      I’m running 37’s on my stock 250 Tremor Diesel. Waiting for my back country kit to show up. No issues At all. I got the high mount but I really don’t think it will do much. Darn truck rides so much better on the Falken AT3s vs. those darn Goodyears that came with it.

      It's a lighter rate bar, so you'll have a little more highway way with a top heavy camper over the 1,500 pound mark. That said, it will be significantly smoother off road.

      @@necstanunn exactly. I had to replace a arb because I hit a elk in Utah. Only the corner of the bumper was damaged. The Cjc bumper looks like it’s a great design

      I would agree the F350 is overkill if just plain overlanding. I already had a Jeep that was great for that. In this case, the truck pulls a 8000 lb Black Series HQ19 trailer for boondocking, but the truck is setup for additional off road travel that might be too sketchy for the trailer.

      The point in overlanding with a such a huge truck is to be able to carry all of your gear to the middle of nowhere plus pull a small camper or toys etc I love the tacoma trucks the best for offroad but for me and my wife, the dogs ,truck bed full of firewood and a rear seat full of my junk plus hers and towing our offroad camper loaded down with dirtbikes and or hunting and fishing gear the little rigs don't cut it
