We had so much fun working together on this! Kelly wanted an eye that had gold, amber/warm/fall tones, and GLITTER with a really natural skin/brow. Watch to see how I created the look and managed Kelly’s requests for her makeup!

seeing you talk to her about the makeup before hand is so informative and helps me out a lot! I have a lot of social anxiety and so it's hard to like know what to say without seeing an example sometimes if that makes sense so thank you so much!
Hey Angie! I'd love to see you do a makeup artist outfit video! Do's and Don'ts of what you wear on set or for bridal gigs :)
I love that you brought up that tip about Mac's face and body, most ppl don't know that if you work it that it will tack up and give more coverage, you and pixi-woo are the only youtubers that hv talked about it. Btw her eyes looked 👌
Thanks Leah!
Great to see a mua doing beautiful makeup where the makeup doesn't take over. Most modern mua would have given her dark brown brows....reflective highlight...drag lashes...super full coverage...and a bold lip with gloss to finish. Love your work
I would love to see you do a makeup tutorial on Asian features. Hopefully soon! 😍
You are so underrated! Thank you to your contribution to the makeup artist world. We appreciate you!
Gorgeous! Thank you for all the detail included about brush choice, layering, amount of pressure used, etc. Your experience is invaluable and I appreciate you sharing. Kelly has a spunky fun personality!!
Thank you for watching! Kelly is a firecracker, she's great!!
I can’t believe you don’t have way more subscribers!! Your content is so informative and thorough. Much appreciated.
I can’t thank you enough for this amazing video! I have just started my make up artistry course and you have no idea how much this helped me! I am so hoping that more will be coming! Amazing work, love it, thanks so much ❤️
I’m living for the intro!!!! The questions that you asked were spot on in getting a clear understanding of what she wants. I’m going to add to my already present questions. You’re such a life saver thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can’t explain how much I appreciate you showing the consultation. That something I struggle with because my clients are really difficult people. We are not makeup educated people here in my area in Greece and sometimes they ask for a Smokey eye just because they’ve heard it and even though I try and explain what I am doing in every step so they are happy (this happens a looot) they end up finding it “too dark” “too much”.
Loved the video and I would love to see the consultations with your upcoming clients.
Good job!! ❤️🙌🏻
Yessssss I’m so excited omg! Angie!! Would you do a video centered around brows?!! Like grooming, shades, and everything that goes into perfect brows?
You truly are fantastic! This is lovely! She still looks like herself. So pretty. What I appreciate is how much you listen to the client. I've had makeup artists really overdo makeup and make things harsh. I'm curious and forgive me if it's in another video. Do you always do the rest of foundation after eye makeup. I don't watch CZcams alot and there are so many artists on here but you are a gem amongst alot of noise. Thank you for your clean, beautiful work and knowledge.
Hey! Thank you for watching! For the most part I have a habit of doing the upper half of the face first for speed - most of the work I do requires me to be precise and fast, and this technique works well for me!
I learn so much from you. I literally light up when I see you've uploaded a video. Thank you.
Love how you incorporated what the client wanted 👍
Can you please do a video on how to cover hyerpigmentation without making the base look ashy?
I like the effort you put to your videos and how dedicated you are ! keep up and more bridal look for different faces please
Hi Angie, could you do a video dedicated to editorial beauty makeup vs bridal makeup. The differences in your technique and overall look of the makeup. Where to start, how to apply to agencies, how to start adding those types of looks to your portfolio etc. Thanks!! I mainly do bridal but I am looking into possibly introducing myself to agencies, but have no experience working for one.
I think she looks just lovely...thanks for these great videos. You are so talented & you discuss everything with your client which is of the utmost importance.
I would love to see you doing a dramatic look and a colorful look too.
Please do more videos like these!!!
She's back!!! 🙌 I'm so happy to see a new video, hope your mom is doing well. Blew my mind how you didn't use a lot of product to conceal her undereye, look is amazing!
Love love this video! Thank you for showing a client application and one that is so relatable.
can you make a video about smile lines? I smile a lot and throughout the day my makeup starts to leave smile lines on my face
girl yassss keep it up with the videos i am living for every single one!!!!
My final has to be done by 35 minutes. I can’t I take for ever to apply make up I need your advice please I trust you and admire you
ADORE the skin food and face and body combo, I use it on a lot of my clients! Also... a Libra, 17th! lol
Another awesome video! I particularly loved seeing your consultation at the start!! 🙌🏼 always look forward to your uploads! 😍✌🏼
Love your work I want to go out and buy face and body now 😘
My bell went off ☺️ thanks for another video
From one Libra to another - awesome video! Appreciated the tips and tricks, and of course the look is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing this. Her eyes looked so pretty 😍
Can you please do makeup on people with Asian features with olive skin 💕
I will in the future! It depends on who is available/willing to get in front of the camera.
Hello... I have a small question why do you first apply foundation on the forehead only then start with the eyes
This helps me with speed. I don’t have to worry about cleaning up the under eye or being cautious if there is foundation and concealer applied, and I can work freely and quickly.
Girl let me tell you I’m a freelance mua and I saw this from Angie and it changed the game! The benefits for me are plenty! I do eyeshadow first so I don’t have to clean up after. When I do a reeeally natural brow, if you apply foundation after brow you can see red spots and generally foundation-less skin in your brows and you can’t fix that after you have done your brows because it consumes a lot time. That sells it to me. Also something else I found is on some clients some foundations work differently even if you know the shade by heart it has happened to me. So it’s like doing a patch test. If foundation color is a bit off on the forehead it’s literally no big deal.
That’s the most helpful tip for any mua. Thank you Angie!
Anna Kanterakis thanks for explanation 😘
Love this look! Thank you for sharing the tips about face & body. And now I need to go buy all the Smith brushes. I have the 202 micro liner brush and it’s been amazing to have!
Please do more videos like this! I am also an MUA and Hairstylist. I do more hair and I'm trying to get into more makeup these days because I have such a passion for it. About how long did this application take you? I'm trying to pick up my speed with makeup. Would love to see a video on tips and tricks to pick up your speed and what you should spend most of your time on. Love you and your work! 💚
Hi Krystle! I can do this look in an hour or I can execute this look in 15- 20 minutes! I only use the time I have based on the job/client schedule. For the work I do, this look would have to be done in under 30 minutes on average.
Thank you! I really appreciate you answering me! 💕
Just wondering... Why do you start the foundation before you do the eye look?
It’s out of habit from working jobs where I have to be fast and precise. I don’t waste time being cautious with the eye area or cleaning up fallout.
@@AngieDiB thanks so much for your response! So why even start the foundation before? Why wouldn't you just leave all face products for after the eyes?
I find it doesn’t look as clean.
We have the same birthday! I'm a big fan of your artistry ❤
Please make more...😊 im learning alot especially to a begginer like me.
When u meet someone else with the same sign OMGGGGG 😂🤸♀️💃
Hi! Since you are the "MUA guru" that I trust the most I have a question for you: Can I use a mascara wand that I clean as any other brush instead of a disposable wand?
No. I would keep using them as disposables.
So beautiful!!! Thanks Angie.
Hi Angie, I LOVE your videos so informative and educational! Your channel is one of my favourites, please keep these amazing tutorials coming!! I am a perfectionist and because of this I struggle with my timings on jobs - so you have any tips for this and how long did this look take you in real time? Xx
Speed really just comes down to practice, I can do this look in 20 minutes or I can take my time and do it in an hour. When you are on set sometimes as much as we reach for perfection you have to let that go to be able to strategize and prioritize what needs to be done on your client/talent.
I have been asking people I know to model for me with out any charge just so I can get practice in and to have pictures of my work to build a portfolio. However I have had 2 situations where the person has canceled on me last minutes. I have to take lyft and or Uber to get to people due to not having a car. I would of course charge for travel and cancellation fees but I am not sure how to solve this problem if it is just a model work and I am not getting payed for it.
These are all things that happen and are unavoidable. Every time you do any kind of shoot for your portfolio it costs you something - whether it is your time, product, transportation etc. It’s all part of the investment in your business. Sometimes you will get something out of it and sometimes you won’t. This is all part of building your business and we all go through this.
Yayyy I’m excited to see this finally 😍
Please make more of these!!!
I just came across your channel.Your videos are really informative. Can you please make more tutorials?

Stunning!
oooooh! we are secret twin sisters from some other misters ... oct 13 FTW!!! (and my daughter is the 14th ... best birthday present ever!)
Please The Mac brushes you using it’s the new or old Mac brushes because many CZcamsr said the new one not good as much as the old brushes ‘also please what is the new blending brushes from natural hair . And the best eyeshadow helping as for smooth essay blending. Please and Appreciate everything you’ve done for us
I use the old Mac brushes that are made of natural hair. Some of my favourite eyeshadows are Viseart, MAC, Make Up For Ever, Marc Jacobs and the Sephora Pro Palettes.
Angie Di Battista please could you write the name for those blending brushes. Or the number . Thank you for your respond I trust you more than our instructor. You know things no body Mention before you even our instructor she’s working with the famous people but you know things she doesn’t know about it . Actually I every video for you as classes for me thank you 🙏
Love this channel!! Your looks are flawless and we have the same birthday🤗🤗
Happy Birthday!!!
Hi Angie, love all of your videos. Could you show us how to minimize the appearance of large pores with foundation, please? Which brush do you recommend? What I've been studying about that matter is to use stippling motions (although some people recommend patting motions) with the brush but haven't found a very good brush for those usually small areas (like T-Zone or side of the nose). Thanks.
It really depends on the type of foundation and brush your are using. Not all foundations/brushes will do the trick on people with larger pores. In almost all of my application videos I use a Real Techniques brush for foundation and this combined with a buffing motion and the foundations I use in my kit works for me.
I love love the eyes
Gorgeous!
Loving all of your videos. I noticed you put cream product on after a powder. I thought this didnt work. I'm very confused as to how it actually blended and looked good lol
It can work! It’s very dependant on skin type, what type of product you use, how much product you use and the final look you want.... but it does work.
@@AngieDiB thank you! You know so much. I'll have to test out some different combinations.
Hello Angie! In your wedding experience. The bridesmaids carry the photos on the wedding day and each one chooses their look? or in general, the bridesmaids wear the same makeup? Thank you!
It varies for me but the bride is the boss! In my bridal trials I make sure to cover off what the vision is for the bridesmaid's makeup and that is what I execute. I also have brides that want their bridal parties to have whatever look they want so I'm happy to do that as well.
Love this look! What’s your favorite fan brush for mascara?
The one one I use and I have no idea where I got it from !
Can you recommend a dupe (possibly drugstore) for the ABH brow primer ? Ps just found your channel today and I’m learning so much already :)
I don’t know! I’m not a great artist to follow if you are looking for dupes. I use what I know works well. Because I’m not in a position where I receive a ton of free product to try, and because I’m pretty careful with spending I don’t try a lot of different products. I also have spent so much money in the past looking for more inexpensive alternatives to things - for me personally I try to limit doing that for myself. If I do come across something better/cheaper etc. I would likely post about it on Instagram!
I know NYX has one, you can prob look up reviews to see if its worth trying. I also just saw one at sallys beauty....i cant remember the brand but it was a chubby stick like the ABH as well. I believe both are around $10 if you want to loom into them.
@@sammysweetdesigns thank you :)
Do you get charged customs when you order from Camera Ready Cosmetics? I'm sort of hesitant to order from them but I see they carry a lot of good stuff that you can't really find in Canada. Thanks Angie!
Yes I do!
Great look Angie! Do you find people are allergic to face +body? xx
I haven’t had an issue with it in years and years.
October 18th 🙋🏼♀️💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 libra ladies 😍
Hi Angie! I love your informative videos! I do have a question for you. I usually much prefer the look of a dark brown or black eyeshadow on a Client’s lash line rather than a liquid liner. Usually I wet the brush with a spray of water and dip into my shadow on a small brush and put it on the lash line. Sometimes I find that then when I’m done with the client’s makeup the shadow has fallen underneath the eye a little bit leaving the dark fallout. Can you shed any light on what I might be doing wrong or why this is happening? Thank you Angie! ❤️
I'd really have to see you do this in action but when shadow is dampened with water it doesn't stay put like liquid/gel liner does so this is likely what is happening.
Angie Di Battista ahh so maybe I shouldn’t be dampening it and then I’d imagine it would stay just like every other eye shadow on the eye. Thanks Angie!!
Imma LIBRA!!!! 10/13
Same as me!! Happy early BIRTHDAY!!! xx
