Perhaps version 13.8 works, but the current version does not, it forces you to upgrade to Pro.... Waste of time...
Hi, this is a useful bit of software but I suspect the target disk cannot be smaller that the original, is that true? My original is 16Gb and is the target but is very slightly smaller, so frustrating.
This doesn't work any more. They make you buy the professional edition to clone partions.

After cloning it the other raspberry pi is not booting . Issue with the boot file . How to fix it?

Hi. Thank you for this video. I think it is just what I need, although I don't need it for my Raspberry (sadly disused at present). I am using a flavour of Peppermint Linux on my laptop, but to avoid having so many partition changes I put it onto an sd card - it is working perfectly, but of course there is the constant danger that the card might become corrupt, with the famous I/O error... So I'd like to clone the card, together with its GRUB and everything. I have also been thinking of whether I could clone it to a pendrive. Any ideas?

I tried this with an SD card on my tablet and after inserting the new larger SD that has been cloned exactly like you did, it says i have to format it...

This Would Work For Cloning Micro SD Cards Used In Smart Phones Correct? I Have A 256GB Thats Near Full And Have A 512GB I Want To Clone So I Have More Space etc. My SD Car Was Not Encrypted To Phone When It Was Installed. Does Encrypted Causes Issues When Cloning For Smart Phones?
This would work, however you will likely need to extend the partition after cloning to maximise the full size of the new card. If the SD card is encrypted it would need to be decrypted prior to cloning.

Does not work, as Raspberry pi creates two partitions, and for some dumb reason no freaking partition software can copy it. WTF man.....

you should look up how to do it from the terminal, terminal is your friend.

With the latest version i had the same problem. Try using this one. It's the same version with the video. For me, this worked.

What about cloning 16G card to a 8 G?
Yes, i have the same problem. I will cloning a 16gb card ( is filled with 5gb data ) to 8gb.
@@Epyxification I have previously been successfull with a tool called "Paragon Backup and recovery". I had an issue with backing up a 32gb card, and not able to restore to another 32gb because it were another brand and "slightly" smaller in size. Paragon helped. But now I have used both Paragon and pro version of AOMEI backuper, and I am having problems with Rasbian freezing in the middle of bootup. I believe there might be an issue with the way Windows reads EXT file system. Using Linux for backing up Raspberry Pi OS might be the most reliable. Should be possible to resize EXT partitions in Linux, but a bit more complicated perhaps.

Hi - not sure what version you've downloaded but my version is 13.8 and I'm using the FREE version - it's not a paid for version and 100% works in cloning my sd cards. Sorry it's not working for you.

That's correct, they've changed the software. You can use something like Macrium Reflect instead.

Will this work on a corrupted SD card?
Define corrupted. Is the target corrupt? Is the source corrupt? Is it just the data/sectors that are corrupt, or is the SD card physically damaged?
Scam! the software it's not free, at least not for what your video suggest! Only the Pro version can do that!!!!

Download Minitool Partition Wizard Version 9.1 It'll do it for free
