Philly is my hometown. I miss the Reading Terminal, and the museums. Every time I go back to visit family, I take my wife to Reading Terminal.
I grew up in SoCal and left after 25 years. Moved to a Philly suburb last year and been to the Amish Experience tour near Lancaster, so the places in thr video are familiar. I'm loving it here! housing is less expensive, parks, gardens, and forests are everywhere with better air quality. NYC, baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Washington DC are all less than a days' drive. I'm surprised there aren't more people living here, california is too overcrowded.
I love your editing style/story telling skills! Also I love Philly! I go once a year too 😆

Gaw, where do I even start? First, Hi from Shanghai! I found your channel when looking for Notion tutorials and I'm so glad I did. I also grew up in PA, in a small town called Canton. Ironically, my grandparents owned and ran the busses in Lancaster and the surrounding counties. I left there when I was 9 and moved to Oklahoma. A world away it seemed. So your video resonated with me SO much. I think about that a lot...would I have met my husband? Would I be living abroad? Anyways... all that to say, glad I found your channel. =) Great video! PS...Birch Beer. I miss it so much.

Hello, I’m french ! I moved a lot when I was young, finally grew up in a small village where I felt like a stranger… But now it does feel like home when I come back, because as you say, my parents live there, my memories of growing up and becoming who I am are there…
It's funny how a place that feels strange can come to feel like home over time
