  • A great start weatherwise, and even better views on the drive up to Beinn Dorain in Tyndrum. I even stopped of on Loch Lomond shores to record a beautiful timelapse of the loch with Ben Lomond in the distance.
However, mu best timelapse of the morning was the stunning view of Beinn Dorain itself, steeped in sunlight and with just a hint of cloud gently nestling the summit.
The predictedfine weather however, was not o last and the cloud thickened as the morning wore on. By the time I reached the summit the amazing clear skies from four hours earlier were gone and my view back down to the area off the A82 where I took the timelapse was obscured.
Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed avery moment of Beinn Dorain and the climb up through Coire An Dothaid, was particularly satisfying.
Beinn Dorain is one of the more familiar landmark hills of the Highlands, a graceful, steep grassy pyramid revealed on the drive north from Tyndrum.
    Elevation: 1076m

Hey, thanks for those kind words pal. I’m so blessed to have these mountains located only a couple of hours drive from my home.
Glad you feel inspired to go experience them for yourself.
You’ll get some great info on WalkHighlands Website for any future plans you have.
Thank you also for subscribing, I try to get out at least twice a month and with 282 Munros in Scotland all above 3000ft I’ve got plenty of adventures still to come.
All the best, and thanks again my friend.
      Douglas 😁👍🏼⛰
