Imagine how long my man's playlist is...
12 hours?
I was wondering how his phone lasted that long
11 hours and 55 minutes
lol
10 hours of slav hardbass
For a100 miles with a 7:01 min a mile pace is just out of this world .... Hands down sir...
I agree that it is quite impressive. Considering that he probably never stopped to take a rest or grab some snacks. He had a crew to hand the snacks to him, apparently. Otherwise, he'd have to have gone faster to make up break time...
BUT it wasn't fast enough to get the world record for the 100 miler. Just the American record...by beating his own previous record.
No wonder the special forces times exist the way they are. He should have a lot of tutorial how to videos. He should also be sponsored by what he takes. No doubt what he does works.
It can't be true
My guy looks like he's running 8-9 minute pace, not 7. No way he's running 7 right there. I run a 21 minute 5K, and it's much faster than that.
watch the whole clip and time how long it takes him to do 4 laps
When Usain Bolt got his 100m world record, thousands were watching him and cheering him, for just 10 seconds! But Zach! he ran for 100 miles at 7 minute pace and set the american world record on an empty track, with only a handful of people cheering on him.
+Jonathan Morales pantoja One of the greatest comments ever!
+Jonathan Morales pantoja Pretty incredible huh?
+Jonathan Morales pantoja They are both equally amazing. Zach should have some more attention!!!
honestly. Zach's accomplishment was harder. Sure Bolt can run faster, and Zach can run farther, but to stay focused and do that same thing for so long. That's crazy.
Agreed. I can't understand how he can physically run for 100 miles, let alone how he can mentally run around a 400m track for 12 hours straight without going crazy. Like seriously, most people train to run 26.1 miles, but zach runs 20+ miles everyday in order to train for 100k's 100 miles, etc.
What an incredible accomplishment. What makes it even more incredible to me is that it was done on a track. I cannot imagine what it's like to run one and the same lap for almost 12 hours..
I think it is much better than the other 12/24 hour races where you are on some 1 mile lap that has potholes, uneven ground, and some slight elevation changes such as mild inclines and mild declines. A flat, level, all weather cushioned track is far better.
Tuesdays Runner he meant it would be boring
Did he change directions? Because him and another runner were running opposite directions.
I havent been close to his level but as a distance runner when you see something so mental, the mind ceases to become an option rather than it posing issues
It must of been the best feeling in the world to just sit down and chill and talk to people after doing that which must've been the worst feeling in the world to run laps around a track for 12 hours straight. Dude total respect for u
@Bradley Adams thank you going down hurts almost as much as the workout
That would be mind numbing to do 100 miles on a track
Dantay everyone is complaining about track is so bad, what is so bad about track?
Prodígy That’s 400 laps around, the same thing over and over.
Bradley George oh, why is that bad
Prodígy it’s just extremely boring and mind numbing lol. Usually 100 mile races are through trails through the woods where runners see something different all the time.
The one good thing is that you had to change direction every couple hours or so.
400 times around the track. Must have had some serious day dreams on this run!
He said that about mile 70 or so it started with a big hamburger...
They should have had a bike rider with a hamburger being waved at him to make him go faster...
That's good motivation haha
What’s worse running 100 miles on the track or 100 miles on the treadmill?
1600 times around (1/4 mile track)
402.25 laps... crazy
my hamstring started cramping at mile 70 - this guy is awesome.
I thought a 10k was bad on the track...
I'd hate to do a 5k on a track
if hate to do a mile on a track
why is this me
@@samuelaguila5701 I thought u meant 5k miles
@@poppa4178 5 kilometers.
Zack Bitter. Respect! I am 55 and have been training since the end of February to go under 7 minutes for a mile, JUST 1 MILE. You did 100. Goodness me.
I cannot fathom this.
I am 55 and started running as well. Goggins got me running.
@@SuperBobby1967 Keep at it!
*runs 100 miles*
Walks it off after like 15 minutes
100 miles with a 7 minute pace lol, like I can't even begin to understand how that's even humanly possible. That has to be one of the greatest human achievements ever
I would get so bored running this on a track, and I would get extremely tired so props to this guy for doing this, and especially at a 7 minute mile pace
Same
It’s only 400 laps
@@Hyperdrive lmao
Nearly ran 4 marathons around a track. I don't know what would be worse: the physical or mental adversity?
Flaw if I’ve learned anything in my great 3 weeks running cross country, it’s that the main hurdles are mental. Once you are in the right mind frame, you can do a lot more.
Man you guys are complaining about how much pain it takes to do 100 miles. What about the joy of such an accomplishment, that always trumps the pain. Take it from me I just finished running 108 miles in a 24-hour race two days ago.
Incredible, this man should have more recognition for what he accomplished
400 times around! Congrats on the record but holy geezus I cannot even wrap my head around this
Rusty Daines I wonder if he ran 400 laps and then 900 meters after that to truly make it 100 miles
Zack, that is a wonderful point. You should check with the timers, on how many laps he actually did...he may have been short!!!
Absolutely incredible. I ran a marathon (not even much quicker of a pace than what he was doing) and I know by the last 5K my body was begging for it to be done, he did almost 4 times that. There's not many things which would be harder to do for almost 12 hours straight than this.
how can he run 100 miles on a track crap that must have sucked
SyntheticNation ikr, thats 400 laps. im a distance runner and id honestly rather shoot myself than do that XD
same Im a runner as well and 10 miles around a track is hell imagine 400!!!
It's overwhelmingly boring, no scenic motivation, but for me, there's something calming about being able to count down your laps. I do 100 400m loops on a track every so often, and counting down my laps is somewhat motivating.
Josphelli, 25 miles around a 1/4 mile track? For a workout? That is incredibly monotonous. I'd at least want some eye candy...like maybe the entire Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in uniform cheering me on??? They really love me...
what a nice chap
+Rob Pinnington Zach is an amazing athlete and person to be around, such positive energy.
That is ridiculously amazing, I was ***DYING*** on the 5k I was doing last week at a pace of about six minutes. However he runs 100 miles and runs at a 7:00 pace!!! Mad respects dude! ❤️❤️❤️ I'm from wisconsin too :D
Arguably the greatest feat of endurance in history.
Absolutely insanely badass! Huge respect for this guy!
Simply incredible. To be able to maintain this pace is super Human . Amazing
100-miles around in circles - wow - God Bless you man! Congratulations on a great run and record breaking endeavor
hell yea use a burger as motivation to set a record haha
Whatever works, right?
I think that the entire squad of female USC Trojans Cheerleaders would help to motivate me...
Will they confess their love for me too???
This dude ran more in a day then I have in my life time.
What an incredible human. He gained a fan today. He deserves more fan fare for such a feat.
Love coming back to this video and seeing someone run my half marathon pace for a half day.
He just broke the world record at a 6:48 pace in 11 hour and 19 min!!
Awesome stuff. Listened to him on JRP and oh boy what a great listen, this guy's amazing.
Amazing job Zach!
I use these videos to motivate me for my run ,excercise ,have vision of me running like these guys ,first 20 minutes reality strikes ,I am F xxxxx
The relief just finishing
What a legend!
This man is a legend.
The criminals that run this country should have 10% of this guy's heart.
“My hamstring started cramping at Mile 70.”
My hamstring cramped at that point too just watching the video.
Amazing accomplishment, 7 minute mile for 100 miles is just insane. Who sponsors this guy?? He’s an Amazing athlete and deserves more recognition .
That is scary impressive. A marathon is unbelievable, let alone 4 of them back to back 😵💫
So awesome.
that place looks so nice!!
Wow! Incredible!
Just another 900 Miles to go to be the man who falls down at your door
I did a 100 k and I was singing this in my head 😅
What an amazing athlete!
This is incredible
Tremendous performance!
I don’t get it. He is starting off at 6:53 per mile and looks like he is running slow. He’s that efficient. The only thing I noticed was the power in his push off. That’s how I knew he was running fast.
I can't emagine running more than 2 miles on a track
That's a real tough dude right there my hats off Zach total respect!
Salute sir g
Fuck man, I can run a pace of an 8-minute mile for 2 miles before I'm gassed. This man just ran a pace of 7-minute mile for nearly 12 hours
I want the full 11 hour version; uncut.
After an extraordinary event,he is remarkably unconcerned about anything - extremely modest guy
So your telling me that they had to do 400 laps on a track heck no
Tarheel Trusty23 lol
The muse music is great, I wish they played that when I did my first marathon.
I ran a 6 flat mile consistently in 8th grade in 96. Last time i clocked myself in a mile was in 2005, i ran a 8:20 then got it down to 7:30 within a month running nightly. No way i could run it under 10min now. Aging takes its toll quick if you dont keep working out. Zack is a beast!
Zach stop!
Zach stop, you're gonna get in trouble for this!
But for real tho. Great accomplishment and amazing spirit! What a thing to do
I dont understand how this is humanly possible.... Good work man!!!
it's hella easy I have no legs and i did it i just hop around really fast
Paradox xodarap what?
I have no legs. Running 100 miles is easy. All I do is hop really fast. When I get too tired, I swing my arms around in circles like windmills, slapping the ground and this propels me.
@@BootyBot wtf
Paradox xodarap lmao
But was he wearing a fitness watch? How many calories burned, Zach?!
Jake Williams THATS WHAT I WANNA KNOW
1 miles is roughly 100 calories... so 10000 calories burned, bit more due to jogging and heat lvls prob
@@scorpionz44 heat kills
Beast Mode! at its best #Run2Improve
Another superhuman
Congratz
It's crazy how it looks like he is running so slow...until you see him run past other people and realize he is running a 7 minute a mile pace. WOW
yo , people travel that distance with a plane
Ahmet Koc that would take 10 minutes on a plane which would be a waste of money
Ummm... no they dont
Ashton Klepko sure they do, plenty of people fly from New York to Philly every day
lmao no they don’t you can just drive it
thats a 23 minute trip
En donde es esa carrera en español porque no entiendo el inglés y cuando la vuelven ha ser
crazy!!
He runs 100 miles at my 5 mile pace ... insane. Kudos to him!
what type of altras was he wearing? and what type he wears on an 100 mile trail!?
How the hell is this humanly possible
I don't think this is the record, the UTMB, which is a hundred miles, had first place at 10 hours something this year AND that race climbs like 10,000 feet if not more. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Impressive
Impressive.
The kid at 5:24 was my brother
God Bless America 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
the footage shown doesnt look like 7min pace guess he started faster?
Hopefully he switched directions a few times. Running on a track for 100 miles in one direction puts a lot of strain on the left leg during turns.
How tf do they jog dat long without getting tired? Someone please explain
Oh my god I can hold a 7 minute pace for only 7 miles.
How on earth can u run that on track. Only thinking about it is bad enough for me.
After running 100 miles I'd be sporting a Polio leg blanket too...my legs would be dead. Lol
I smiled when he said he wanted a burger
This guy is not human, 7 mins/mile for 100 miles is just insane 😬
This guy ran more than I’ve walked in my whole life
How does one run this long in a track I can barely handle 5 miles on the track before I get completely bored
I wonder what Dean Karnazes would do on a track?
This is literally the running version of Nascar xD
UN FKN BELEIVABLE!
How
🐐🐐🐐
How come it looks like half way through the video, they change directions on the track
They do chabge directions so they don't mess up there legs by always turning the same way
@@drflopster1128 oh okay, thanks!
He ran 100 miles at a 7 minute pace. Oh dear God!
Shot every time he says zach
Recovery time: two weeks recommended
How does he go to the bathroom tho?
I am a lot older, but it took me 16 hours longer to ambulate that far.
At 2:17, that leader board is insane. Damn.
I wish I have a leg like his.
11 hours and 40 minutes on the track. Props to you man.
Are bhai ek din mene running kri to mene only 3.5 kilometers kri yrr tumne to bhai 160 km🙏🙏
HOW???????? 400 laps????????????
how did he train for this?
