I’m so glad he clarified what he was ‘literally’ doing, otherwise I could have been following the recipe metaphorically.
LOL
He confused literally with simply. No biggie.
Idk why but this comment was one of the funniest thing I’ve ever heard/read
Very important distinction
Once I acidently made a metaphorical lobster roll. These things happen.
Poor Oscar, doesn’t zoom into the molecules of the pasta and Gordon hates him for it.
Exactly, now we know why those old videos of gordon are so close to the pan. It's because of gordon himself. It's not the camera man's fault
Dude needs a raise
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Is it just me or would everyone like to see the unedited outtakes/bloopers of Gordon and Oscar “pan down“ The cameraman?!
I thought I was tripping at 1:26, couldn’t remember if I took acid today
Thought I was tripping on shrooms for a second & had to see if anyone else saw it too

If I had a dollar for every time Gordon said “literally” I could afford to keep Gordon as my personal chef
Beautiful
you'd have to be pretty rich
Literally!
I was literally thinking the same thing!
He means it figuratively
When he said "Oscar, pan down" I really thought he made his two-year-old film his cooking. And I just accepted it.
Likewise
I really think Gordon talks to himself when he’s cooking alone
Literally lift the anchovies up into the kale. As opposed to metaphorically lifting them emotionally before putting them into the pan
underrated comment 🤣
😂😂😂😂
He did say literally a few times randomly I was like ???
That is actually correct, good job 👍🏻
Ah, I see, I see
Ramsay in 10 is not the same without Ramsay screaming "pan down" to the camera woman.
😂 I thought he was referring to someone cooking behind the scenes to put their PAN down
I think Tilly has a day job now. Lol.

I love this side of Gordon. This series is "literally" awesome!
Gordon do you want to say any last words before you pass on.

Could you imagine Gordon as an instructor at a Culinary School ? The instructor's I had were good but I think Gordon would push people to reach their true potential

That's not everyone's learning style though. I was coked out in college so I would be right there with him
he'd make you surpass the potential written in your genes that was even possible.
I don't want to say Gordon is overly confident in his own abilities, but the video is called Can Gordon Ramsay Make a Cheesy Green Pasta in 10 Minutes? and the video is 9 minutes long
Lol
We all know he still can't make a grilled cheese though
@@PennySheraldine lmao your right
but he finished it in just 8 minutes and 9 seconds, if you really watched it. so it means the video's time is just normal.

I’ve bought the cookbook this week and I really like watching you cook the recipes before I try them.
The reason professional chefs make food with soo much flavour is because their “touch” of seasoning is handfuls
I like watching these 10 min videos, but I gotta say, it’s not the same energy and entertainment without the family.
I love this series.

I’ve learned that Gordon Ramsey measurements are double regular human measurements. When he says tablespoon, he means half a cup! 🤣
No wonder every chef's dish is underseasoned lol
It’s Ramsay* look at the channel name
I like the idea of using kale as a pesto. I cooked Russian kale today. I am proud to say I followed a similar cooking technique. I was amazed at how good the kale came out.
I love how half the prep is already done before the clock starts counting. The water is boiling, all the ingredients are measured and in containers in the bench, and then there is the clean up time.
That’s why I don’t trust any of these 10 minutes videos 😂 with the power of editing you can cut so much out. Plus a lot of chefs have assistants that do some of the prep for them.
ha! said this out loud to myself as well when watching the video. if I had minions that prep every single thing I need to cook dinner, all my food will be done in less than 10 minutes.
He literally said it doesn’t matter if it’s 10 minutes or not, just want you to be more comfortable at cooking.
@@kevinx1893 well why not label the video can gordon make pasta in over ten minutes?

I love how he says literally for everything. “Literally put that in there” thank you sir, I would have only thought about putting the pasta in the water. 🙏🏼
He had me so excited as I'm watching, I'm eating my lunch and ate it in 10 minutes lol Great energy definitely trying this recipe Thanks!
Dang, Gordo is almost FIFTYFIVE years old!
Every time he ages, it adds another wrinkle to his forehead.
I love how this 'literally' developed to be a full on produced show from a nice weekly Instagram cooking live.
this literally turned into a book
Legend has it Gordon Ramsey always keeps his oven pre-heated
1:24 when the garlic flavor tide pods start kicking in
I appreciate that he acknowledged in the beginning that it could take the viewer over 10min to make one of his dishes. I’ve seen recipes where they say “you can do it in 5min for $1 so easy!!” and it’s all fine and dandy for the chef, but the learner may need to spend extra on ingredients or spend more time.
Yeah I totally agree. For example, in this video he used fresh pasta so I understand why it took only 3 minutes to cook, however the dry pasta that I buy usually takes 20 minutes to cook whereas it's written 8 to 9 minutes on the package.
@@quelqunx7470 Something may be wrong with your stovetop in that case.
What brand of pasta are you using, may I ask?
Literally beautiful and beautiful, literally. Gordon's enthusiasm is intoxicating and has sparked an interest in cooking for me.

@@thesnackbandit that is the question
Did it taste good? Curious. I thought it would be greasy and somewhat bland by the ingredients used.

I love how you didn't waste any of the green mix -that I didn't care what it is cuz I was so relaxed-, but I love how you didn't waste any of it, other chefs would LITERALLY just take like two spoons of it and throw the pan in the sink with almost double the amount that they used, all the respect chef.💚

Fresh fusilli pasta would take about 30 minutes to prepare :) And if you used dry pasta, it would take longer than 3 minutes to cook; it would take 10 minutes just by itself. So, you would have to have fresh pasta on hand to even make it in under 10 minutes.
I wonder how much all that olive oil costs, lol. I couldn't afford that on a normal basis. I am curious if people liked it who followed the recipe or if it was bland? It seems like just an elaborate pesto pasta without a premade sauce.
Olive oil is pretty cheap, we buy it in the gallon cans hah
That moment at the end when all the line cooks realize that the pasta and sauce were made to order and it was still a 8 minute check.
“This is extremely healthy” proceeds to add half a bottle of oil and salt into it
Great Episode Chef! Love this new show. Aloha Chef!
