@BoringBonesTv Thank you so much! And you are so very welcome!! I'm so happy you liked the video. It was the perfect mod to start my mod spotlight series with! I can only imagine how much work it took to finish this mod. I myself have had to do the cycle of starting the game, checking a small detail, and then exiting out while making the Washburn Edition LOL it can be strenuous and very exhausting! I actually haven't tried to edit the mod just yet, but I'm planning on doing that in the future 😁 thank you once again for all your hard work transforming this game! Your mods are a must-have!

Wow. Looks like a completely different game, The lighting is amazing. I’m assuming there’s no change to the lighting indoors? Does the lighting go through the windows similar to the sims4 lighting?
@Adrian-pu4ih right!! I am still stunned by how spectacular it is! It does not affect the light coming through windows, BUT I do use another mod that fixes that issue! I literally can't play my game without it now lol I'll share a link with you soon!

@Adrian-pu4ih do you mean the way the sunlight streaks in and creates shadows on window panes and stuff? Yes I LOVE that but I dont think there are any Sims 3 mods that do that unfortunately. I think the one Golden shared above is just to allow more light into the room, not to add streaks and shadows.
@AtCar3 hey! So boring bones mods is for outdoor lighting and shadows. I use a separate mod to improve the indoor lighting. This mod creates the Shadows we were talking about 😁 I don't know how he did it, but it is by far my favorite lighting mod!
I loved the mod but I also like the darkest night, do you have this version available for download?

I'm seriously considering adding BB's mod to my game today, this looks fantastic! Was wondering which version of his you prefer? He has the main one, and then he has a V2 which is apparently a bit brighter but he only has one image on his blogspot so you cant really tell the difference. Was wondering which version you used as the base for your mod. Also, where can we download your version of the lighting mod?
Also super interested in the Washburn project! I'm not great at mod stuff so I dont fully understand what it is but I'm all for any mod that does mass fixes and improvements to the Sims 3.
@AtCar3 hi again! That's awesome! I'm using his original version. Version 2 was just a little too bright for me. And the Washburn Edition is a mods list that you install yourself. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a way to download the mods in mass at the press of a button 😕 I do have a video to explain how to install mods if that helps! And if I ever come up with a way to install everything at once, I'll definitely make a video about it!

@AtCar3 You are so welcome! My most recent mods list is my version 4. I'm still working on version 5 😊 and all the mods are compatible with each other! That's the beauty of the Washburn Edition 😁 I'll get you a link to version 4, just a sec.
