Hey there Nanex, you can never go too much for RAM. The more RAM you have, the better the PC will be at multitasking. I used to stream myself and that software can be so greedy, especially when you combine it with games like warzone. You could get away with 16gb because I did it, but having more will always help. I hope your streaming is going well and you are kicking goals

Hey fam, there is an OMEN out with Cherry switches which I prefer personally but the actual keyboard is the same. The only difference you'll find for OMENs is if you're getting the 16 or 15 inch display
I have 2 questions. 1. Can It work with external display? 2. I have this laptop about 1 year 10months. When i close latptop i hear quiet sound then totally nothing. Its "cyk", i think that's case. Is it normal? I hear on this film the same sound but when you are opening laptop. IT is not annoying but i'm scared about it
Hi there, it should work with multiple monitors no problem, you may just need an adapter to allow for additional monitors. As for the sound, it’s hard to know 100% but sounds like it’s not an issue. But if you’re not feeling good, I would recommend reaching out to HP online just to be safe.
I asked profesional man who is repairng laptops and he doesnt know what is this sound. I tought It's hinge but I can hear it at all case no in one point. It's not annoying but i'm still thinking about this little sound, and im scared about bronen screen or case. This sound is like at your short. When you are trying to open omen with one hand. But in mine laptop It's a little bit more quiet and i hear it when i close laptop no open. I can give It to HP but i'm studying to Scholl and i dont have much time @@TechBytesWithLoren

It really depends on your needs, but I can say this device is a fantastic all rounder if you are looking for a gaming machine on the go. But it's well worth checking the config that best suits you
Hey there, I was getting about 3-4 hours out of it, but that was with simulation style games. I got more when I used it for Movies. COD drained it awfully quick but I am not surprised with the power requirements
Hey there, sorry about the delay. The cooling is much better than I've experienced in prior models and competitors. It's well worth going through the Omen Gaming hub or Bios settings to ensure the fans are working for you though
Hey there, it's a fantastic laptop for gaming if you are looking for a portable option in comparison to the Desktop prebuilds. The only thing that may change performance is the configuration you are looking for. Overall, value is great in my opinion

The HP Omen is just so good looking especially the QHD screen with the black Omen logo. Suits work place better than the purple logo.

How can you say thermals will be awesome without showing any cpu gpu temps in games?
I did do the tests, the issue with my device is that it is a pre production unit. So it isn't accurate to what someone would get from a retailer.

What is the GPU in your model ? What is the TGP ? And does it have a mux switch or advanced optimus ?
I think its the RX6600M version with a TGP of 100w and AMD ver only has AMD advantage

Effectively, it does have a MUX switch - the integrated graphics are automatically disabled because of the dedicated GPU in our Configs
