If I go in my mom’s room and smell some of her perfumes, I can recognize a couple that she wore 6-14 years ago because it would remind me when she would wake up early to get ready for work and spray one of the perfumes on. And sometimes I would go through the minimal makeup she had and mainly swatch and try on her lip products😂
Omg I looked for months for neckerchief in that color . I finally had to buy fabric and have it custom sewn .

Hi there, I have been cutting open my empties for years now, not only my product containers, but my food packs, tubes and plastic bottles aswell! So glad to know it is not just me, my daughter and my mum! And I love that you are an 'aroma junkie'. I will add, adding room sprays to my decluttering sessions. And some great music too! I am sure it will get me more focused!
I’m also a “high end” product lover.... my secret weapon is TJ Maxx. They carry a lot of great brands, Estée Lauder, Shiseido, Tatcha, etc, usually for a third of the original price. You never know what they may have, so I run by every week or two, (like grocery shopping), and checkout their stock. I think they may know my name.... Happy hunting!!!
So true! I only wear Bare Minerals foundation and I just found the foundation, mineral veil, and my favorite mask at TJ Maxx. I was so excited, it was under $50 for all three and the base products were the deluxe Christmas sizes!
Definitely love these finds! Make sure you check the expiration dates on these products. It can be scary to see most are past their prime!

My son gets those bumps on his arms and his face. Since he was about 7 years old. He is 13 now and they are still the same. Always fun to see your empties!

I've had success with dish soap getting foundation stains out. The key is to remove the stain in the sink first. If it goes through the dryer before the stain is gone, I've had less success.

Charlotte, I have no idea if you get a comment for a vlog over a year old. I just discovered you in the last month or so. I’m so sorry it took me so long! This was the second empties vlog of yours that I watched. I love them. I actually took notes for my daughter and I. I’m now 50 (ugh,so hard to admit) and she’s 16. We both had very big milestone birthdays less than a month apart in the same year, which happened during the crappiest year for them 2020. Any how, I’m loving learning so much about skincare! I also love that you totally embrace your princess side. I don’t think any of what you share is cheesy & anyone who would make fun or be snarky doesn’t understand how “real” real life is on people. ❤️😘

I’m I love with the glow recipe sleep mask lately. Smells so good. And of course F Bomb from Drunk Elephant cuz everything is amazing from DE, especially the longer you use it. The pecan waffles or whatever it is from Bath and Body Works is one of my favorites ever! Lip mask is awesome too! I use it all day and night long as well. 💗 the Oxy Clean is the best for stain fighting! Febreeze Unstoppables is so nice. I love the pink bottle too. I wish an eye cream could solve all those problems as well as help the skin around eyes. Lol. I use that IT CC every day and never have any of those issues. Maybe it’s that package. I love MAC lipsticks and lipglosses. Sorry this comment is so long. 😝
Really enjoyed this video Charlotte! Don’t know if you tried the original Jergens moisturizer but it’s almond and cherry scented and goes back since the beginning of time. I think you would love it!

Have you tried Cerave SA Rough and Bumpy Moisturizing Cream for your KP? I think it really works! Try it for 2 weeks every night.
Yes, that is one of the only products that made even a tiny difference. For me, it seemed to make the skin more smooth to the touch...but it still looks red and irritated. Still better than nothing!
A good drug store replacement for cream cup is Revlon’s pink in the afternoon. There is a rumor going around that it resembles Audrey Hepburn’s pink lipstick in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s one of my favorites and it’s like $5. 🙂
Regarding the make-up stains , believe it or not the Dawn Ultra Platinum dishsoap works great. Squeeze a little onto the spot and rub it in. This also works great for a grease spot on clothes. I usually let it sit on the spot an hour or so and then put it into the laundry. It has worked great for me. Let me know if that works for you.

I splattered foundation all over my white sheets. It never came out. My dressing table is near my bed. I have been more careful ever since!

I love bum bum cream but like the kiehl's it is not cheap. I also have very dry skin. My trick is Cera Ve Moisturizing Cream. It is a drugstore cream (lotion) that has no fragrance. So I mix a small amount of my bum bum cream with the cera ve and I still get the amazing smell of the bum bum and get to savor it so much longer.

My daughter has these bumps and I just use konjac sponge on her arms. For us it works 😊 Great empties
Dawn dish soap gets foundation out but you need to wash immediately 😃😃

Shaving cream, any kind, will take out makeup stains. Apply it, rub the fabric against itself, and it will come out in the wash.

Loved this!!! I always write down a few of your faves for to try next haha. Are you not using micellar water any longer? I ask because I’ve been using the Kale Water (oily and acne prone skin but they have other types) version from Pacifica and am obsessed with it!

I do still use Micellar water, but I buy the giant bottle so it takes a while to go through it! Probably in my next empties ;)
Thank you so much for the tip on digging into the Agave balm; upon your recommendation I got one, love it and have been digging to the bottom for over a week! Also, have you tried the Lush shower oil bars ? They are so hydrating and helped with my bumpies on the back of my arms.

I purchased the Trish McEvoy #9 from your recommendation. Yes, I think it smells wonderful; but, it does not last on me for very long at all. I bought the eau de parfum and spray liberally, but within an hour, the scent is gone. I have asked my husband and he doesn't smell it on me after a short time, either. Does this happen to you or is it just a weird reaction with my body? I have this happen with a lot of perfumes and it is so frustrating.
Hmm, I haven't noticed it fading any more than any other scent. I do think we become immune to scents pretty fast, so it could be you and hubby just aren't noticing it anymore? When that happens I usually switch up perfumes for a bit, then try it again. Or I guess it could be something with your chemistry, but I think Trish McEvoy scents are some of the best formulas you can get!
You should try the Nuxe face and body ultra rich cleansing gel. I swear by it for soft skin!

I have heard that it might be gluten or dairy, but I have given up both for long periods with no luck. I feel like it's not fair, I know so many people that that worked for, lol.
I tried a million products to get kid of my KP and finally found that supplementing for Vitamin A got rid of it!
I have heard that and wanted to try it! But I got conflicting answers on how much to take and forgot about it...I must try that!
I just started watching your videos, live them so far. Have you tried Amlactin? It’s great for getting rid of the little arm bumps. Just do t use it in your legs after you shave - it will sting!
I did try Amlactin with no luck, but I know it has helped a lot of other people!

For hairspray from the drugstore, I really like TRESemme’; otherwise I love Bed Head Masterpiece (smells delicious) and Big Sexy Spray and Play. I buy those when they’re on sale or at TJ Maxx or Marshalls.
Hey Charlotte :), do you find the drunk elephant vitamin C serum to have a funky smell at all? I can’t quite place it, maybe mine is old lol, but almost smells like.. burnt in a way haha :).
I have heard it can get a weird smell if it's gone bad...which it does go bad quickly! If you haven't had it long, maybe you can exchange it wherever you got it!

The Gothamist has a fabulous facial mist recipe (czcams.com/video/C3mR3-wiLSU/video.html) that I use and swear by. It is awesome for a post-shave mist and for those stubborn KP bumps after a good exfoliation. I got everything from Vitacost online for about $30 , and the rosewater (not rose fragrance oil) on Amazon for about $10 and I've made half a dozen batches. I can't imagine buying another toner or essence.
