That book of poems by Neruda was what we used as our wedding guest book. I’m a high school English teacher and my husband is Mexican and I thought it was perfect! It’s my absolute favorite thing to flip through and see little notes people wrote next to the poems. Some of them even marked lines in the poems. Oh my heart ! 🥰

I agree about the coffee sound, it’s like being a kid and hearing your parents up before you making coffee, it’s so cozy! I really need to start doing that for myself. 💕

Charlotte, I have been inspired Since January To be resourceful as a result of your videos. I have adopted your empties ( have not had to order shampoo/conditioner in months). And in today’s video when you talked about your coffee maker with a timer, it reminds me how we only have one functioning coffee maker because I have not bothered to replace a glass carafe that broke of my old Mr. coffee. Thinking that I would just replace my current coffee maker with a brand new model. This kind of thinking of buying brand new doesn’t cut it for me anymore instead I have ordered a replacement carafe for 20 bucks for my old Mr Coffee so when I am cleaning my current I have a replacement that only is half new (the carafe), and I have you to thank 🤗. Because of your modeling being grateful and appreciative for everything in your life and apartment and goodies that you share with us that has encouraged me to also look for ways to be resourceful in my own little home. That was the same one my grandma used since she was first married so I got one too.

I remember my grandmother would wake up about 6am and start making ☕ coffee in her vintage coffee maker and breakfast for us. We were 8 kids plus/ along with my mother. I love the sound of coffee maker too it reminds me of my grama and brings me a sense of comfort .
I love the Pomelo! That will help clear space on my counter top. I agree with the caffeine too. I love coffee and I'm still having Nespresso every morning but on those high anxiety days I may just have some decaf tea.

I so agree on the Jane Austen book. When I first read them I had a little difficulty understanding it, I thought I was the only one 🤣. I love all her novels. I started watching Sanditon on PBS and love it!

I promise I must be a sort of ‘Charlotte - from another mother’ as I also have the books you recommended !! 📚🥰 But, will have to be on the look out for the poetry book, as I love poetry and just recently picked up an Emily Dickinson (for kids, I think...lol) beautifully illustrated poetry book that separates out the poems by seasons. Gorgeous! 📚💕 Her ‘Hope Is Like A Feather’ spoke time me when all this Covid-19 business initiated. 🦋
P.S. I also love a beautiful silky ‘peignoir set’...nothing matronly about it...just feminine and elegant.

I was just thinking this video is the perfect thing to enjoy on my relaxed Sunday evening. It’s Saturday but my brain insists it’s Sunday, so I am just going with it!
I loved every minute of this! So many good things. You look adorable with your hair pulled back and your red scarf. I would love any and all of the books you showed. Your idea of having your coffee start WITH MUSIC, TOO, is lush! We have our coffee set for mornings but the idea of the music, too, is INSPIRED. I am going to check out the pjs - actually love the last one - the robe with gown.

Cannot tell you the last time I ironed! I use wrinkle release but ironing makes clothes look crisper and finished.

The Ole Henriksen brightening eye cream is amazing. I just recently started using it and love the results. I was looking at that cleanser and was wondering about it and will have to give it a try. The Laniege pink lip balm like the one you have is a really nice slight pink color and doesn’t taste bad either. Loving your lipstick color you have on. ❤️

Loved this video!!!! You're recommendations are always great!!!! I am a bum bum cream lover as well but the price gets me every time. I found a great trick to make it last! I put a small amount of bum bum cream and mix it with cera ve moisturizing cream. Since the cera ve is unscented it stretches the bum bum cream so much!!!!!
I literally hunted down the original Betty Crocker cookbook 1st edition before the pandemic hit. I wish I would of known there was a reprint lol! It is definitely one of my favorite cookbooks! ❤️ thank you for this vid!

Really enjoyed this. Can't go wrong with Jane Austen! Love the look of the Betty Crocker cook book too. The Book That Takes Its Time is a really nice one to work through and reflect/be mindful. I just mentioned it in a video a few weeks ago too as it's been a real favourite of mine before my kids wake up for a few months now. ☺️

I got the Agave set from Bite. I’m not in love with the new balm formula, but it’s ok. I am really liking the Pat McGrath lip balm. It almost feels like nothing is on my lips but they look so shiny. It’s not super moisturizing but the overnight lip mask helps!

I knew you were wearing Cherries in the Snow. I love that lipstick and I can recognize it on others. Btw, I bought the Cherries in the Snow nail polish by your and Laura Jane Atelier's recommendation. It was the last bottle at the store. I wonder if Revlon has more nail polishes that match with lipsticks.
Have you tried glossier new hand creme? It is amazing but so sad it is not refillable. Hate throwing away that container it is in. Kind of expensive for the amount you get but sometimes you just have to treat yourself.
A friend of mine swears by a silky nightdress and matching robe on date night at home!

I don’t think the poop bags linked are actually biodegradable 😫 It looks like they just use recyclable materials for the packaging and core. I don’t see anything in the description that says they’re made from a plant based material like corn or potato starch. Maybe I’m missing something? Help! I want to find some good, truly bio poop bags 😝💩
Oooh so it looks like the brand does make a separate mind that is certified compostable but apparently not all their bags rise to the level of compost-ability according to US standards. I am embarrassed I have now read so much about poop bags 🙈
