Ah! My grandparents had those Firestone Christmas albums. I loved those! One of my favorite holiday memories is going to my grandparents' house and listening to those albums while we made cookies.

My son has done our tree with his Granny since he was 2. He is 13 now and puts the date in his iPhone, my mother puts it in her diary and I am banished. It’s a green tree and he insists on red and gold decorations and multicoloured lights. He and his Granny go and choose a new decoration every year. Lovely memories for them 🙂 One day he will be decorating in his own house and looking back fondly like you are! My husband and I never had a tree until our son was born so we are happy to leave them to it! I love thar you have lots of colourful things. Beautifully done. 😍

We always had tinsel on our tree (except we called it “icicles”), and we just took tiny clumps and draped it over the branches. No blowing.

We used to blow tinsel onto the tree, too! Especially for the higher branches. I figured everyone did it that way, so it's been interesting to see how the rest of you do it. 😊

I got a new tree this year too. I received the weekend before Halloween and i put it up right away. I really don’t care if people think I’m crazy but I’ve been enjoying my beautiful tree for awhile now. 🥰

Very nice. I enjoyed "decorating with you guys"...hahaha. I also like that you decorate "a lot" (by some standards) yet the apartment doesn't look cluttered or overcrowded. My husband don't decorate or put up the tree until December :)

Charlotte, everything looks so festive! Love how your little dog trails you around while you are giving a tour! I thought of you and your mug collection when I picked up an Olaf mug at Target (they have them at Kohl’s too). You bounced back well from the tree lights burning out. The same happened to me with our stair garland. Note to self- check the lights before decorating the whole thing! Oh well, I’ll have fun redoing it!

Just reminded me to go ahead to get my egg nog bc they always sell out once it’s too close to Christmas. 😂 my Gram called it the tree icing and she went way overboard with it!! We didn’t blow it though, we “gingerly” placed it on the tree by the boxful! My mom refused to have it on any of her trees.

Everything is beautiful! I never think November is to early to decorate for Christmas because I love the warmth and beauty it brings to my home. The wreaths you made are adorable! Maybe you could put a bow on the one that has the battery pack bulge. What I think is a great idea is that you only decorate with the things that are sentimental and everything you love. I feel this is the only place where I can say this without secretly being considered a weirdo. Lol. Few months ago I was at Hobby lobby and saw a small Christmas tree decorated with fall leaves/Garland. That made me think why don't I do it all year long when I have my own place. Also how Charlotte has her mirror tray and candles in her living room with wreaths and garlands for each season. That would be like Christmas all year long. Almost. Right? Or am I really loosing my mind? 😮

Yes, they are paper...that's a great idea!! Too big to laminate, but clear contact paper would do it!
