I have a region A ub9000 and I tried it with a few region B disc's. It worked with my Second Sight Texas Chainsaw massacre and my Second Sight The Guest. Did not work with my Second Sight version of Martin. Also tried my 88 films copy of Riki-0h and it didn't work. Definitely going to try some more region B disc's in the future. Thanks for the tip!

I heard that, for some discs, you need to hit 'Top Menu' 5-7 times

Just tried this with region locked Ex Machina from Lionsgate…… Didn’t work,
Can’t stop the disc playback once the mismatch appears, everything is prohibited.
Maybe there’s been an update to prevent this..?

It's not a fix for all discs it works on some but not others I have another blu-ray player which is a region A player for the discs it doesn't play

I tried it on my player. I think that an update has cancelled the region hack.

you may be right, because I tried with my UB9000 and i does not work ... disc said "invalid region" and can't press "stop"
mine is an european bluray player ... maybe it works only on US player UB9000 !

That is for the soundbar when I change a blu-ray it goes back to TV Arc I have the blu-ray player on a separate hdmi for sound
