  • Hailed as one of the greatest television shows of all time, The Sopranos spent six seasons delving into the world of organized crime in New Jersey. The series launched the careers of a number of actors and not only put HBO on the map, but proved that television could truly compete with film as an artistic medium.
Violence on the show wasn’t pretty, and no one was safe from it. And as we all know, TV greatness can never be achieved without the death of at least a few characters we know and love - or love to hate. Let's take a look at the most devastating deaths on The Sopranos.

Yeah Richie was a hypocrite (as were most of the characters), in how he cautioned Christopher about laying hands on Adrianna, saying if Chrissy wants to do that he has to give her his last name first. Richie was only engaged to Janice as he struck her, and she shoots him to death lol
Ralph was definitely a love-hate relationship. His jokes were hilarious, but he was a loose canon.

Christopher was too into the life to ever consider going straight. Plus he always had the H Chipper hanging around his neck. Most of those guys seemed very unwilling to be legit, they'd rather make money off of other people's costly vices which they could exploit. The only guy I believe really wanted out for good reasons was Eugene. How'd that work out for him? In for a penny, in for a pound.

I watched the series a long time ago but that last visitation scene from Tony is still vivid in my mind, especially these few last words they exchange, and Tony as the boss of the family, in the smooth peace of this nursing home, betrays the Omerta and commits the worse sin of the mafia by mentionning to his uncle how he used to be part of "that thing that’s ours", and Uncle Jun blankly replies "oh, I was part of that ?" and you can tell by his quiet astonished tone that something remote echoes somewhere deep within in his broken mind, but he has definitely become unable to remember what it is...

I wish they had more scenes with the guy who exclaims “ OH $hit” when seeing Phil’s head get run over, he was my favorite character on the show

Adriana's death was tough to watch. She was a sweetheart who loved her Chris and was loyal and supportive of him to the very end.
Bobby Jr.'s death is runner up. He was like the Winnie the Pooh of gangsters. He could be a stone cold killer if he really had to, but for the most part, he would rather be a selfless family man who avoids violence if at all possible

The best part is the narration with upbeat music over everything for the duration of the video.
