A quick look at two JBL Sub Amplifiers for car Audio. How well are they made on the inside? Are they worth the purchase and which I prefer for my audio systems.
can you link me to the gtx 500 dyno, I can only find one and its "budget gem or budget bust" . I cannot find a club 5501 dyno, only a infinity 501 dyno which is same amp
Budget Gem or bust has a dyno for the Infinity 551A, which is the same amplifier internally as the JBL Club 5501. There is no separate dyno for the club 5501.
Thanks for showing us the guts! It's worth noting the GTX500 has been dyno'd well above 800W at 2 ohm loads. I'm glad I bought one \m/
how powerful does it feel? I just bought one on ebay for $80
I got mine for $100 new off Crutchfield. Feels astonishingly powerful for the size and cost. No sweat smacking around my JL 10w6.
Does it get warm? My JBL GTO 751ez used to get hot on 2ohm!
