    I live in Miami, 30 minutes away from Loan Depot Park where the Marlins play, and this is one of the main reasons why they can't sell enough tickets to see them play. Because we have a cheap owner, with cheap money, and trying to make a chicken salad with chicken sh%t!!

    I very much enjoy the back and forth between the panel and the guest. This thing with both the Marlins and the White Sox is really putting a black eye on Major League Baseball. Oh I forgot the A's as well

      I agree but nothing is going to change . Manfred works for the owners he won’t do anything about it . But I agree with you 1000% , I’m just numb to it personally because I believe nothing will change! It’s sad because baseball is a beautiful game

    I like the Phillies a lot and I am not a usual Phillies fan but I like their Mental Toughness & Team Makeup. They just have a very good all around team. Sorry to see the Trea Turner injury but they seem ok without him so far. They are one tough team.

      As a Phils fan I hated the Bryce signing when it happened. I thought he was mostly hype. I was completely wrong. Since they signed him he's set the tone for competitiveness. This team always looks to take an extra base. Offensively they err on the side of aggressiveness. Even when guys like Casty are struggling they play hard and keep grinding. A lot of that comes down to Bryce and the way he plays on the field. And then off the field he lobbied Klentak for JT. He lobbied Middleton for Trea. Overall it's a great group of like minded competitors. The Dombroswski Phils are a great spiritual successor to the Wild Boys Phils of the mid 90s with Daulton Kruk and Dykstra.

    The Marlins didn't go into retreat, they were there from the beginning of the off-season

    Phillies fan for 40+ years. I love the start but I worry about teams winning divisions suck in playoffs. Past 2 years since they added 6th WC team seems division winner all lose

    Phillies Defense??? Realmuto awesome catcher Buom great 3rd basemen Rojas great center fielder Harper one of the greatest defensive first baseman I’ve ever seen Castellanos well above average outfielder

    Braves fan here. I may have been in a minority amongst fellow fans, but I thought the Division could very well be a 3-Team race, with New York being the 3rd team.
    There's still a ton of baseball left, but I'm glad there's regular season competition! The Phillies are dangerous, but so are the Braves!
    I don't see how AJ Preller, or John Mozeliak, or Brian Cashman still have jobs given their lack of consistency in winning and going deep in the postseason.

      Cashman is the big one. With that payroll and a good manager how can you muck it up so badly? I think the answer is that the pipeline is finally failing to create personnel turnover. I won't call it a "problem" but they definitely have a development concern.

    Met's fan here. If in the playoffs it comes down to Phillies vs Dodgers, I hope the Phillies destroy L.A.

    With PHI pic in bg did anyone expect KR to say anything but good things about PHI the 1-2 teams he never talk down on

    • @deepzone31
      @deepzone31 Před měsícem

      Why would he talk bad about them this year? Their pitching is dynamic so far and the hitting still has yet to synergize. The huge weak spot continues to be the pen. That gets glossed over when you are rolling and relievers are running mop up duty.

    Phillies defensive problems?😂 where? Turner made some errors, and is now hurt. Castellanos is slow, but, gets the job done. Rest solid.
