We need ESC 2nd Chance: Acts who didn’t win but should’ve come back and perform the same song again but this time go against each other. Example: Verka Serducka vs. Käärijä vs. Russian Grannies vs. Sunstroke Project ETC…
That's why we need to get rid of juries, or expand them and reform them (eg musicians and producers from different genres, no radio hosts, former heads of delegation, journalists or industry professionals anymore, more diversity in age and ethnicity, 30 people instead of 5)

I really like that the jury is there to actually keep it as a music competition. With only public votes the entire ESC could fall apart in a year. The public votes keep the joy while the jury maintains structure.
I don’t really think they do. They give the most points to basic pop that we all hear on the radio, it’s just plain. It’s like they don’t care about the art of music, just feels like they don’t want individualism, everything sounds the same.

Cha Cha Cha is something else. The lyrics have a deep meaning, the singer can hit the notes and there is also some seriousness in it.

Why? Because the jury made sure for that by having created a HUGE point gap between Loreen and Karijja, with Sweden earning a ridiculous amount of 12 points from the juries , while guess what? Not even a single one based on how people from each country voted. This caused a whole scandal there's no way you can't remember it. I'll never understand why anyone would like to give any say to 5 music producers who hate fun. They are the same people that make sure only 10 songs play in the radio and everything is as watered down and bland as possible. Imagine if every song in ESC was similar lowest common denominator pop sweden sends, it'd be a snoozefest from start to end. Juries need to be removed, everything's gotten worse when they added them back in.
