@@Idk-qs4nrYeah ! As you said it ! It came second ! While with the amount of votes it earned from the public ( a record of how extreme was the difference from the second most voted by the public song)it was bound to actually win the whole competition! Why? Because the jury made sure for that by having created a HUGE point gap between Loreen and Karijja, with Sweden earning a ridiculous amount of 12 points from the juries , while guess what? Not even a single one based on how people from each country voted. This caused a whole scandal there's no way you can't remember it. And for this reason Karijja will always be the TRUE winner of ESC 2023. Hope all this can help! 😊

@@theeternalguardian4185 Loreen came second in every country. Lets not exaggerate. Loreen won deservingly. Just look to the streams of Tattoo after ESC. Meanwhile no one listens to Cha Cha Cha anymore. Get over it. Kaarija came 2nd with the juries which shows that the juries also appreciate funky and joyful entries too. Stop overreacting lmfao

I'll never understand why anyone would like to give any say to 5 music producers who hate fun. They are the same people that make sure only 10 songs play in the radio and everything is as watered down and bland as possible. Imagine if every song in ESC was similar lowest common denominator pop sweden sends, it'd be a snoozefest from start to end. Juries need to be removed, everything's gotten worse when they added them back in.

Jury likes stereotypical "performance" that can be monetised and dragged everywhere, so they have a production view on it.
Meanwhile the public loves passion, experimentation, fun and creativity.
