- Been a while since I've reviewed a bad toy, so let's look at what is easily Hasbro's worst 12" figure in the POTFII-ROTS era. I'm afraid to even touch this thing.

Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

The best thing about this figure is it was great to terrorize barbie dolls and ken dolls with.

That’s what I did when I got Grievous too! But playing with him carefully so not to lose limbs! I would let some dolls borrow his lightsabers as my Original Characters!

I remember wanting this figure so bad as a kid, and now looking back at it, this figure was complete trash. I actually still have that figure in a bin, and when I decided to revisit the figure,
the arms broke on me (smh).

My biggest annoyance with this figure was the fact his forearms fall off too easily
I had this action figure as a child.
And I hated it for not being able to equip the lightsabers to it.
As an adult now, I wish I found him again.
I have long since gained a new appreciation for Grevious

The biggest sin for most grievous figures ,from my own recollection, with 4 hands is that they have a hard time holding a single lightsaber due to how soft the plastic is in the small hands. I hope the black series grievous corrects this problem

As a kid, I remember pining for this figure and never being able to find it... Now that I've seen this video I'm kinda glad I never got it (but also a part of me wants it even more now because you roasted it so heavily)
You think that's bad? Try the Hasbro Grevious wheel bike that came out with the revenge of the Sith toy line ups. That Grevious figure was by far my worst. Grevious was actually my favourite character from that film as a kid, but I bought so many figures of him because they were always so flawed and always broke, but that wheel bike one was by far the worst. Hand and arm broke off shortly after purchase, details and and paint job are absolutely terrible with bits of white of paint even in the eyes, and it's bright white, not even a shade of yellow. Also he didn't have pose-able joints in the knee's or the elbows, no cape, no sabers, no guns, no nothing (except the bike of course). It's such a shame that Grevious figures were always so consistently of a poor quality, I see the new figures as an adult and think about how much I would have loved them as a kid, especially the black series for all figures.
Revenge of the Sith had cheap vehicle pack-in figures that went with a lot of the vehicles in the line. Calling one of those "the worst" isn't really valid to be because all it's meant to do is sit in the vehicle and do nothing else, it's not trying to be an action figure.
Heat the shoulders with a hairdryer. It should loosen the plastic and then you can articulate it.
I don't think that will work. It's very hard brittle plastic that wants to shatter, the hairdryer trick usually only works with softer, potentially malleable plastics.

Can u do a comparison of all the general grevious 3.75 inch action figures. What is the best grievous figure?
I own this it is awful but I used fishing string in the hands for holding the light sabers for posing it's perfect, and dip the ball joints in floor polish let it dry and reconnect it works. It's been in my case for 2 years now.

Ah yes, I have this one, can confirm. The joints in mine are fine though, no cracking or breaking anywhere

I bought one off Ebay a few weeks ago
It was fine, until five minutes after i opened the mailer, the F🤬ing arms broke off!!!!
I was fortunate that I found one that was missing pieces in a very nice lot of stuff so at least I now have one that's not in bad shape.

Anyone recommend a good 12" Grievous? (other than the expensive ones, e.g. Sideshow, Hot Toys) I'm on a certain budget.

Yeah, that *definitely* ain't the worst General Grievous figure. The one I got was the one that had a gimmick where you could press down on the head and it would move the arms, and it came with the "Galactic Battle Game" (not the Clone Wars one, the movie series one), he didn't have _any_ elbow joints, and eventually both of his legs broke at the knees.
I dunno if that's the worst one... I mean it's not that good, but I dunno about the worst. That's why the thumbnail has a question mark, it's subjective and up for debate!

You sound so disappointed. I had the same figure when I was a old lad. I loved it, probably because at the time my love for General Grievous greatly surpassed that of “toy articulation” and “detail”.

The Fact that Hot Toys hasn't even made a General Grievous or SH figuarts is Crazy.
The arms are so fragile that I didn’t let my siblings touch him after what I saw how they cared for their Episode One ships! Grievous curls up nicely when it’s time to store him with my battle droids but you have to stand him in a stand he fits in and place the lightsabers delicately to get a nice photo pose!
He looks so sad. It even gets sadder and sadder the more you watch it. Poor guy can’t even hold his Lightsabers properly. =(

The 3 3/4" black series from a few years back was a pretty decent figure of grievous. It had the pockets for the hilts stitched into the cape and the hilts actually had some variations if i remember correctly. Way better than that 12" monstrosity.

Did you try hot water for the joints?
I think the plastic is too brittle for that trick to really help. Besides... I think I'm fine with it just... standing there.

I actually have this figure I do use Clear little rubber bands to make him hold the lightsabers and I stored him badly when I pull him out the only way to describe it is his leg is warped his right leg so it's like cockeyed

I just bought mine in package , I'll spray the arm joints and leg joints with wd-40 before I move it around just because it's old and rubber band the light sabers, simple. The worst figure to me is the battle droid .
Sure the battle droid can't really pose, but to me it STILL is the best looking Battle droid figure ever made, especially with the headsculpt. I love it.

I bought this version because the sideshow grievous is too dam expensive. Let me honestly say this thing is 1st class crap. Its insanely bad bro! FYI.......you have to crazy glue the sabers to the hands and use clear nail polish on the shoulder and elbow joints (just a suggestion)
