    Just started playing and I know this guide is older... The ring of Rapacity got change to -40 mana and +3 Mana Regeneration so its not worth it anymore. Plus around the location has changed alot and its harder to find. Just wanted to put that out there in case someone else just starting to play and watches this.

    Even after the nerf, Water Aura is still absolutely worth taking, especially if you're grabbing all of the INT bubbles anyway. The nerf really just moved it from "effectively unkillable" to just "really hard to kill".

    • @michaelhart2575
      @michaelhart2575 Před 4 měsíci

      Not necessarily. I have both water aura perks and about 12 points in intelligence so far, and I heal about 37 HP per second but I can still be 2 shotted to death. The acid matrons can one shot, and those level 30 red pterodactyl birds can kill you in one shot unless you invest in over 800 health. Other than that I heal faster than anything. I still haven't updated my game yet.

      @bwnz9905 Před 4 měsíci

      @@michaelhart2575, Swap in Radiant Paladin Chest/Legs/Boots, drop the wand/lightning talents to focus on staff, and take tank nodes up through the end. You'll have a ton of health, great dmg reduction and hit like a brick at range aoe with fire and absolutely destroy at close range with acid without having a glass jaw. I'd also recommend taking both the acid resist passives.

  • @bwnz9905
    @bwnz9905 Před 4 měsíci +9

    Highly recommend using the Radiant Paladin Chest/Legs/Boots instead. With the Rings of Rapacity you'll never run out of mana, so more mana/mana regen is not needed. The 330 HP, 24 Sta, 6 HP regen, and -120 regen delay is more impactful. Also, water aura, even after the nerf, is still worth it.

    • @bwnz9905
      @bwnz9905 Před 4 měsíci

      Alternatively, if you take the tank tree down for the additional survivability you can use the Sage chest piece for +96% healing which will put water aura back to pre-nerf numbers, and make your Eternal Heal Channel's sub-ticks hit for over 300 each. For me it dropped my HP to 740, but evened out my resists to 200ish each.

    Why do you skill into the last point of Trickster (Arcane Concentration)? It costs 5 skill points and currently only gives you 3 spirit. For the 5 points you could also get 3 single spirit and still have 2 points left that you can use more usefully.

  • @exorruination

    Glow soup is the best caster food (+5 int, +60 shroud protection, 45 minute duration), not mushroom omlette. Unfortunately you can't stack them, even with the dessert stomach skill.
    The necromancer skill requires three skill points, which is potentially worth three intelligence (15% magical damage), extra utility or healing. While I agree it can be useful as a distraction, I don't think its damage (which was subpar when I tried it) or its ability to distract hostile npcs is worth losing the skill points elsewhere.
    If you adopt a good playstyle you don't need the extra distraction as npcs are usually down or close to it very quickly (magic is very strong). The wisp is also pretty weak physically and most of the time they spawn and aren't needed because you've already unalived everything. I've encountered issues with them not attacking npcs (they just sit there and chill, or float around doing their own thing 😂). I've also had issues with them finishing an npc off on their own, so I don't know there's another body I need to loot as I'm fast travelling back to my base (I noticed too late and couldn't interrupt the fast travel).
    Besides, if you really want one, you can just use a scroll.
    I don't take blood magic as I could see it getting me unalived, but that's just personal preference tbh.

      @@CreativeGamingCZcams I forgot to mention a few things:
      The helix wand appears to be the best "non-shroud npc" wand. It has a passive ability which gives it a 50% chance to spawn an additional projectile. This is on top of the wand master skill. I've had it spawn as many as four projectiles with one cast because of wand master 😂. It deals shroud damage, has 19% overcharge and has 5x +9 shroud damage attributes on it.
      The ritual tempest wand appears to be the best "shroud npc" wand (assuming the npc isn't resistant). It deals shock damage, has 20% overcharge and has 5x +9 shock damage on it. Its projectiles travel at half the speed of the helix wand though.
      I've not had issues using acid bite on the Vukah npcs specifically, are you sure it wasn't acid bite being buggy instead of poison resistance? It can miss npcs if they are at a different elevation to your character (i.e. slightly above or below you). When casting it on flat terrain I had rarely had issues.
      Fire wands seem to be more effective against animals.

    This is not the best mage build because you dont use your wand with this spec as you said yourself at 3:51, still you have specced fully into Battlemage/Wands. What is better is when you are not running wand is speccing into Tank to be alot less squishy and also Survivor to get the Orbs that give you 30% mana and stamina regen instead of 10% which is OP with Bloodletting.

    so you regen all your mana instantly and yet you are rocking the Elder Chest, Trousers and Boots set instead of Paladin? Seems rather pointless to add more mana to infinite mana pool? I would also move all those skills from wands and allocate them to tank. You have infinite mana, why do you even bother using wands?

    • @texasdad2372
      @texasdad2372 Před 4 měsíci +1

      With the Paladin set on,Theres usually only enough mana to cast 1 speel before having to wait for regen. I run the chest and boots,then Elder gloves,helmet and pants for enough for 2 casts and before the second is fired off the mana is usually back lol. But I switch to full Pal (besides helm and gloves) if I find something hitting me hard lol.

      @@CreativeGamingCZcams The mic and the interface are certainly fine, and have plenty of potential. It’s mainly the voicemeeter part that’s shooting you in the foot. If i were you i’d go ahead and focus on post processing, instead of doing it all with voicemeeter

      @CreativeGamingYouTube  Před 4 měsíci

      @lupit1 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@CreativeGamingCZcams Personally, i use ableton for everything, and i do it in real time so i don't have to edit later. But when it comes to handling everything in post production, just disable anything changing how you sound in voicemeeter, separate your recording tracks in your recording software (with a separate one for your mic). And edit your audio in your video editing software. The main reason i suggest that is setting something up to record live will require more, but taking care of everything after the fact allows you to manually remove issues in the background, so you really could get away with less effort.

      Right now this is the end of the game. Once new content gets added it will be the new end

    • @AlphaMachina
      @AlphaMachina Před 4 měsíci +2

      @@CreativeGamingCZcams I was just being facetious. I just feel like there's not much of an endgame as of now, but that's to be expected in early access. Enshrouded has a lot of potential and I can tell the devs care about creating a worthwhile experience, but right now, there's just not a lot there.
      Quests consist entirely of opening a chest or reading a note, there's very little enemy variety, and despite the many class build options, very little of it is actually viable (pretty much just magic so far) as the melee builds are currently atrocious imo.
      When you first start, the map looks absolutely massive, so you get exited for what seems like a lot of content. But then by the time you're 30 hours in, you're realizing very quickly that the entire left side of the map is just inaccessible mountain range, and the entire top half of the map isn't finished yet. Putting a massive map frame on the screen, but then only filling 1/3rd of it, and then requiring you to put tens of hours into the game to find out, comes across as a little bit disingenuous, even underhanded. It's what we call in marketing a "hook".
      The game first presents itself as more fleshed out than it actually is and that's just a bit of a shame. I hope the devs don't continue with this same way of doing things, and they begin injecting better, more in-depth questing and storytelling, more enemy variety, and a more fleshed out combat and class system.
      But I have a feeling the rest of the game, when they add it, will likely just be more of the same. Which is fine. I kind of enjoyed it for what it is, but I don't think anymore of it will be for me if it maintains its current trajectory.

      Because you can grind in SP,get up to snuff,and then join other servers to play. That way you're not taking anyone elses spawns/mission items/trees etc away from them. Not to mention theres no locks/clans/doors to keep others from stealing your shit,just as easy to keep mats on a SP and bring over to MP when needed to keep them safe if you play on a non-password server.
