    • @nadealityxd7767
      @nadealityxd7767 Před 3 lety

      Anyone who thinks taking bundles up a ladder is better is a fucking idiot, you pay more to the labourers taking bundles up a ladder for an hour or 2 then spending 35$ on rooftop delivery and have everyone unload in 10 minutes, work smarter not harder.

  • @Josh-ww5kz
    @Josh-ww5kz Před 3 lety +1

    I sure dont miss having to load the roof this way, after i moved i soon realized how much people over here dont like to move bundles by hand. They only use lifts here in the lower mainland of BC. only thing i miss about doing it this way is that youre able to move the amount of bundles you need for each side/part instead of having to carry a bundle across the roof from a entire pallet.

    • @Average_Roofer
      @Average_Roofer  Před 3 lety +1

      That’s exactly why we still do it this way. Even when you pay the supplier to load all the bundles are inconveniently placed.
      This also insures not overloading trusses and causing damage to the homeowners property.

    • @Josh-ww5kz
      @Josh-ww5kz Před 3 lety

      @@Average_Roofer Exactly. if it were up to me i would do it with the belt. Having 40 bundles on a pallet loaded onto 3 trusses at a timeisnt a great idea. Even if the roof trusses distributes a load a little. The idea of having a thousand pounds there isnt ideal. Theres a lot of stuff that they do here that i wasnt used to. But i guess the whole thing with the lifts is because it doesnt take as much time to load a roof, so they can go load more roofs and get more money for quick roof loads.

      @Average_Roofer  Před 3 lety +1

      I don’t believe so. Homedepot will send a fork lift and leave them in the driveway. Contact your local roofing supply stores for rooftop delivery. Also, homedepot generally costs more than roofing supply stores for material.
