In all fairness I believe you should re do the test with the 50 cal first. It was considerably damaged by the time you used the 50. We should check again to see if it has the constitution. And put a target past it. See if it steals the 50s capability to penetrate after its past the glass. Your friend may be on to something and deserves a true test. I'm very impressed

I had that same highpoint chambered in 9m back in the early 2000's. I liked it. It was pretty durable for what I payed for it. It wasn't as expensive to shoot as my keltech sub2000 chambered in 40cal. It was more accurate than the keltech too. Watching your video I wish I hadn't sold them they were definitely cool.

nice video! I have a hi point 995 9 mm carbine. fun little weopon sucks to take apart to clean but it is reliable. but definitly not a weopon for competition. one to have in truck and dont have to worry about it. I have never had any issues with my hi point.

Hey dude, I have one of them in 45 cal. I frigging love it. It's a blast to shoot!!! And it's very accurate, to my surprise.
The adjustable sights are very nice. I wish I could mount a red-dot without doubling the price of the gun 😂. One day when I get the money I'm going to get the slide milled to look tactical.

Had the .40 carbine for years. 2k+ rounds no jams, no issues. Can't disassemble and clean them. Just keep slide open and clean barrel. Extremely reliable and accurate, especially for the price point. Mine was under $300 10 years ago.

I have the 9mm highpoint like that. I love it. Never jams and very accurate. My brother gave it to me as a gift. I have nothing against high point. Even my yeet cannon does well and the clips are interchangeable between my 9mm carbine and my 9mm pistol. Even the 20 round mag works in the pistol. It's pretty handy.

Ive shot a 9mm hi point carbine and was pretty impressed with the ergonomics given how it looks and the size. Basically zero recoil and probably one of the most accurate ways to shoot 9mm. It did have problems jamming though, some mags worked better than others. My hi point handguns have more reliable mags than the carbine i used did.
Alexa they are a fraction of the price of other guns that do the same thing. And most of the time, they are very reliable. I have a cheapo .380 acp hi point pistol that i got for 80 bucks at a pawn shop, beat up as shit, and it has never failed me. Its quite comfortable to shoot too, and accurate.
I have one of these carbines in 9mm with a red dot it's a lot of fun to shoot and pretty accurate
I bought one of those Hi Points in 9mm several years ago. I got a tax refund for like $320 that year and went to the gun store and said "what can I buy for $320?" When the guy said "Hi Point" I laughed out loud, but he said they had sold quite a few of their carbines and never heard of any issues. Mine has done fine as long as I make sure the action has been well lubricated.

I live like 15 minutes away from where they make Hi Points. I worked on their generator years ago and they have this huge black cherry tree on their property. My Dad bought one of .50 cal hand guns from them a few years ago and he said you need to shoot good quality rounds through it.
I have the 9mm version of this and it is the most fun I have had with a firearm. It is crazy fast and reliable. And a lifetime warranty!

The Hi-Point carbines have had pretty good reviews since they came out, unlike the pistols. The biggest drawback these days is that they're still just single-stack magazines.

The Redball mags are ugly are only 20rd capacity. Out of all the guest Matt has had on, this one has made me the most anxious to watch. Reminds me of having to train newbies on the range. Got my 10mm carbine today and took it to the range. I hit steel plate 4" diameter using kentucky windage over iron sights. It is impressive!

I own the 4595. I bought it because it was cheap and way less than a Pc9. Im not disappointed. Out of 500 rounds through it so far I've had no jams or misfires. Out of the box it was pretty much sighted in. I bought a red dot scope which was ok but not for the 100 yrd targets. I went and bought a Lumix killer instinct scope good for 100yrds and after adjustments it's dead accurate. I've shot water melon with a 9mm carbine before and just cracked the melon or punched a hole through it. The 45acp blows them up. It's great.
I actually like hi-point. I carried their .45 for years when was younger. They have one of the best warranties you can get. Not everyone's cup of tea but if you don't have a lot of money companies like HI-POINT and Taurus, and Palmeto state armory allow you to still exercise your right.
