People have changed so have their modes of transport / cars ... Today's Rich people who bought and used such cars have graduated to Private Jets, Helicopters and very fast Railways ... I have used them for my trips to Paris and Brussels ...2 hours 30 minutes and Paris to Brussels 1 hour 30 minutes ...and that is from heart to heart ... No hassle with Airport Security or flight delays due to bad weather ...Yes, Japan, Europe and China have chosen Railways ...

It was a car of cars ... It was developed to compete and win the American Limousine Market ... It did not win in America but the world over, it was the car that shew the status of the owner ... It had no match, however, it was very much under-powered for such a big vehicle ... once bogged down in sand, mud or snow, it has to be rescued ... Yes, it was a car to sit in and be driven, even long distances, in comfort and ease. It needed very deep pockets to own and to maintain, especially, the Hydraulics. With time, tubes became thick and cracked. There was no repair. They had to be replaced, a daunting task of expense and time. The hydraulics were used because Electric Motors were noisy and less reliable ... Were I to design that engine, I would use the W arrangement to produce more power to pull the heavy load. This stretched version with 6 doors was very rare ...Virtually all Pullman were custom made and they were unique to the 'that' owner.
