Thank you for showing these homes where Jackie and Lee grew up. I have seen so many homes of theirs but never any of these. I love the Lasata home but all of the homes are beautiful!

No, her sister's name was actually Caroline Lee. They just called her by her middle name. I believe it's an old Irish thing / custom because my grandmother from Ireland did this with some, only some mind you, of her eight children. No one understood why.

So many of these homes seem so average. Especially the furnishings. I can’t help but wonder if people are impressed simply because of who lived in them. The properties are beautiful though.

There is nothing “average” about any of these houses either architecturally, in the exquisite manner in which they were decorated or especially in their location- Easthampton NY steps from the gorgeous white sand beaches on the Atlantic Ocean or on Park Avenue in NY in the most sought after stretch of five blocks in the world.

Location location location- the “average suburban house” which actually lacks many of the architectural details, that were built with excellent craftsmanship over 100 years ago, but most importantly, it’s location location location. 7+ acres in the town of East Hampton just steps away from the Atlantic ocean with an impeccably landscaped, a pool and pool house, stables, and a sculpture garden are hardly what one finds in the” suburban house”. Unless of course, that suburb happens to be Greenwich, Connecticut, or Kingspoint Long Island on the north shore. In that case, yes, you are correct. They do resemble other incredible Gatsbyesque suburban homes
