The Aveda Mens Pomade has a little more hold in my opinion. It also has a lot of shine. The grooming clay is meant for those who like the matte finish. I will usually take the men's liquid & put a dime to a nickel size in hair before blow dry then follow with the clay or pomade. Aveda has great products with many different uses for each.
amazing as always! would be nice to see your take on some hair cream type products.I know it's not your favourite thing but interested to see how they work with your amazing wavy hair!
Hi usually I'm never suggesting products to review but have you tried mitchel reformer. This product is dope I'd like to see a review from you. It's definitely on the waxy creamie side but I think that you'll like it. Cheers and thanks for the review!
TDM Style this would actually be really cool. I've personally bought a decent amount of stuff over the past few years (slowed down more recently), but I'm curious to see if reviewers like yourself that see so many more actually find some products that continue to stand out as newer products are released
I love Aveda the brand. But I agree, it is far and away from being a phenomenal clay. I was eager to see your thoughts on it. Thanks for another great review!
Nice video. For me, it's one of the best hair product I never tried (and I tried a lot). Now I'm using Aveda thickening paste and .... pse, the Grooming Clay is much better.
Hey ! Pretty nice review, laughed at the beginning 😂😂, btw can u do a review on Loreal hair Paste or Clay ? Here in my country we only have loreal brand as a good brand
TDM Style remake looks pretty good! Hey man you should check out the Kingdom Hearts franchise if you haven’t yet. It has a mobile game that’s canon to the story so that’s hilarious.
I bought this maybe 5 years ago. I wonder if the scent has changed or if my memory has deteriorated, but I thought it had a more minty scent. Overall though, similar sentiment. I couldn't get good hold from it (but who knows; my hair has changed, it may have been before I was blow-drying) and it definitely seemed more 'creamy' than 'clay-y.' There's an Aveda fairly local to me, so after this whole pandemic blows over I may try it again in my much longer hair. And then I'll request an updated Aveda Clay Review.
Lmao BeautyofScent. Honestly I've used this clay before, it's a good clay you can pre style with it, good scent, easy application and the hold is decent good. I have thick Asian coarse hair. I wish it have little bit more hold. From 1 to 5 and 5 being the strongest hold, this clay is 3.5-4 hold at best.
@@docback63 Depends on your hair length. If your hair is short like mine 2-3 inches on top then Aveda and HDF Claymation work really well or you can get Gatsby Pink or Grey one it got super high hold. But personally I don't like Gatsby because I feel like it might not be good for your hair in the long term. I have to try more hair products tho. Next I'm going to buy Shear Revival Northern Lights
Going to try these out eventually but which one should I buy first? Moroccanoil clay or the earth made clay you just reviewed? Hair is similar to yours thickness wise just as some background info
Earth Made was way better for me, but after seeing Robin’s recent review of Moroccanoil I almost think that they reformulated or something. No idea though so I kinda want to buy it again and see.
_Have u ever considered returning to your old hairstyle (the hair in your kevin murphy rough rider vid) I think its look great with more volume on top_ 👍🏻
@@TDMStyle oooh that's a video I would definitely watch. I personally enjoy their products but it would be interesting to hear your honest opinion too 😉
Hey man, subbed to you and took your recommendation of not buying tiege hanley. Instead I went with an actual doctors recommendation for eye cream for dark circles. I have similar hair style to yours and its really thick, my hairdresser always styles my hair with this stuff and I started buying it, its all I use, love the stuff.
Not really. Different products are good for different things, and I always use at least 2 or 3 products to style between pre and post stylers. It’s never just one thing.
TDM Style Hey man! Im curious as to which clay you find to be the best on the market atm. In terms of texture, volume, hold, etc. Im currently looking to get away from my current products and would love to know which ones you would highly recommend!
That is a myth. It's not "bad" to shampoo every day (unless you're using a really cheap shampoo with tons of harsh sulfates that makes your hair dry - in which case, it's the shampoo and not the frequency anyway). How often you shampoo depends on many factors including your natural hair type/texture, oil production, products used, etc. There is nothing wrong with shampooing daily for some people.
Totally unrelated to this product, but what is that noise clip when its like a dis and it sounds like a kid getting punched in the stomach? Usually in your salty comment vids. Funny ol’ noise when in context 😅
What a dick.
Salvador Grimaldo who 😂
Oh Sal 😅😅
Can we get an Aveda grooming clay review?
Hey man, good review. Have you tried aveda grooming clay?
That beginning. "SEVERAL people." Whoa! 🤣 🤣
Nice review.
...ok there buddy you happy? We get you like Aveda clay...maybe try some other things, or name yourself psychoticAveda
All that begging and that's all we get? Really!!?
What a dumb reply after a YEAR of asking. Matt, what’s your take on this bro? Smh
Jesus bro you're genuinely psychotic. Like bro 4 years? You're the definition of a no life 😂
wtf dont you guys think youre a little too harsh?
Need American Gardens from SR reviewed asap ;) lol
And the shampoo/conditioner they have as well!
Yeah I gotta get my hands on those!
Yes it is one of the best styling clays imo. I’ve bought several other brands to try of the years and I go back to Aveda’s Grooming Clay all the time.

I like that idea. 🤔

Hey man, good review. Have you tried Gatsby moving rubber styling products?
Thanks! I've tried one, the purple one. Been meaning to buy a handful of them for a Budget Stuff video.

Hi Matt have u ever tried bumble and bumble’s prep primer? Or any of their pre styling sprays?
I haven't, but I'm definitely curious about their products.
Nice review 👍🏻
Can you review Shear Revival's new clay?
Def wanna get my hands on that one!
try head and shoulders hair grooming products.
been seeing ads for their pomade lately
Def wanna check them out for a Budget Stuff vid.
Tried them out (clay) you have to use a lot to at-least get some texture, barely even any hold.
Take a look at the at Joanna Fixing Paste please
Aveda clay next though
Does this cause dandruff look after the hair is messed up like gel does?
Nah. Gel and gel-type pomades that dry hard are really the only type of products that run into that flaking issue.
When review of new shear revival clay pomade? 🤔🔥
Would you recommend this or moroccanoil texture clay if you had to choose?
Moroccanoil.
Review aveda grooming clay. This is not legit i want to to to see it it it smeared all inn in your mouth and swallow

where is he now? BeautyofScent
Please review the new dauntless pomade
You bet!
Recycling is good I guess but for me way more important is that they don't needlessly kill animals for such a product.
Which they don't that's why I was interested in the review in the first place.
Will you review Matte Styling Balm from Morris Motley?
