Kev was a true gentleman, I met him a few times at the Hideaway, first time I actually met him while in the oasis agoago with my hubby, he sent us a drink over and then came over to talk to us because I had contacted him on facebook to say we were in pattaya, the following Wednesday I returned his gesture and brought him a drink at his met night on the31st May 2017, the year after I came back and went to each of his met nights at the Hideaway bar while I were in Pattaya with my hubby and my son, sadly last year Kev were not doing the met nights while I were in Pattaya and my sister and her boyfriend had wanted to met Kev. The last time I had been in contact with Kev were just after last Christmas but then nothing.
Last week watching Robs update and Rob broke down a little on camera I knew the time were near with Rob saying Kevs sleeping 75% of the time, Kev knew I work in Health care up in Manchester, seeing Rob get upset on camera I turned to my husband and said, itlooks like Kev don't have long, am just hoping Kevin had his family around him when he passed away and not just the nurses with the Covid-19 pandemic being around, Kev had a heart of gold, with an outstanding personality, he's been in my thoughts for a long time while battling Cancer, I will sadly miss him xx

Thanks for letting me live Pattaya through your eyes Kev! Cheers Mate!

Kev gave me advice, Kev led me the rent a dark side Pattaya condo from Brian the Judo King, Kev showed me that he was a sincere Gent away from the Camera. A week after being at his Hideaway meeting, Kev picked me up to go sight seeing and have a game of pool.. as I walked to the wrong side of his car, he said "You Americans always want to drive". He was fun, funny and sincere. I wish he was still making videos, hearing "Kev in Thailand here" was the best. Cheers Kev'

He was always fun to watch, I do wish more people take their health more serious, his unhealthy lifestyle smoking and his lack of health insurance annoyed me at the time.
    But we all make mistakes
My wish is that people just take care of themselves, death comes to us all but so many can live a long and healthy life just by avoiding smoking and eating healthly and exercising just a little bit he would still be here entertaining us all.
Decide for yourself if I sound like a hater, but this was said only to help others and hope they can look after themselves. RIP Kev

Thanks for doing this, Nick. I also liked the choice of photos at the end but, as nobody else has mentioned them I wonder how many people got to see them...
Kev will always be remembered for his, "Allo, Peepul..." but my favourite was always: "No droolin..."
It cannot be overstated how untiringly he laboured to help others, even to picking up visitors from the bus station and driving them around town to check out various hotels.
He was responsible for drawing me out of Hua Hin to Pattaya to have a medical checkup, and came to my hotel to give me the details of the clinic, etc. - and on his way into town had stopped off at the clinic to collect a pot for me to piss in, which I would need the next day. There was absolutely no reason for him to do this... but... for Kevin, there was no reason not to...
As he left, he asked what time i wanted him to pick me up the next morning. I assured him I was happy to get myself about and didn't need to take up more of his time. He replied, "That's good because I've got some other guy who wants to get a drivers licence tomorrow..."
I visited Kev in the three houses he had in Pattaya and he always amused me that each one in turn was such a great move (I don't think he understood the word 'negative'...), where he thought he would be happy for 2-3 years but, after one year he would move on to the next place...
Now he's made his final move... but I feel sure he'll be back... perhaps as a parrot, flying around Pattaya screeching, "NO peckin...!"
Kev-in-Thailand - it was a pleasure and honour to have known you. You'll not be forgotten.

Great tribute Nick. Thank you for sharing your inner most thoughts with us all here.
As I mentioned on Robs channel earlier I met Kev once at the Hideaway Bar January 2019. He was on top form that night. The place was packed out. He gave me great advice about relocating to Thailand. Such a humble polite soul. He just wanted to help people and share his extensive knowledge about Thailand.
It's ironic that I'm now staying here long term just across the way from the Hideaway Bar in a beautiful apartment. I went to the Hideaway today. The place is all closed up and looks deserted. Kev's signage is still there outside, '30,000 Subscribers!' I stood and looked at the place for a few minutes. I thought about all the amazing nights that must have took place right here. and the nights I've sat at home in Doncaster wishing I too could be there enjoying the banter with Kev and the team.
His spirit will live on I'm sure. RIP Kev in Thailand. One of life's good guys.
    Best wishes from me here.

Extremely sad loss felt right across Pattaya.
Only had the pleasure of meeting Kev once but he sure left an impression. RIP Kev. Pattaya is a worse place without you.

Lovely tribute Nick. Kev will be sorely missed 🇹🇭❤️. We all loved sitting down watching his videos and seeing what we were missing in Pattaya.

Watched every single video Kev put out on youtube & became a subscriber shortly after he started. He was one of the best & combined with his charisma & sense of humour set him apart from the others. Also the fact that he lived in Pattaya he was able to make a lot of his videos very informative. It was a pleasure to meet Kev a number of times at the Hideaway meet nights and I'm very sad on hearing this news. RIP Kev.
