Charlotte homeless shelters struggling to find room in cold weather

Lower temperatures are leading to a rising number of people looking for a warm place to lay their head. Unfortunately, many shelters are at capacity, forcing them to turn away homeless people searching for a place to stay when it's cold.
In this report, WCNC Charlotte reporter Tradesha Woodard says multiple shelters are at capacity and unable to find room for those who are trying to find a place to sleep. This happens as the weather turns cold and Charlotte's homeless population increases. At least four shelters say they're trying to get creative to make space as they seek solutions to permanent housing for those who need a place to keep warm. #WakeUpCLT #Homeless
