Thanks blue ridge for your channel I've actually learned so much from you !! I just ordered the 2019 mint set it's my very first time ordering from the mint I'm so excited. I started collecting about 2 yrs ago just by coin roll hunting. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.
I found this coin today ,the reverse side is more dramatically doubled than I’ve ever seen,it’s in really good condition,I’m considering Grading
I am a old man but new to the collection hobby and I appreciate the close up pictures as they help me know what to look for.
Thank you for that.
Great video. I love the information I have recieved through your videos regarding various coin types. I also like coin roll hunting especially lincoln cents. I had just recently found an 1897 Indian in G-6 condition and once found a 1911 - P in AG3 condition. I have found several wheat backs along the way. I have several AU-BU 1982s that I will definately relook through. I even have both the small dates and large dates in Zinc & Copper (AU - BU all Phil.) in a 2-1/2 flip
Hey whenever you get the chance, and if you don't mind, an overview of the 1982 Lincoln cents that are the ones we want to keep would be greatly appreciated. I have seen several videos covering 1982 errors, but am still confused on what error type to keep. A lot of the 1982 cents videos cover the different varieties but not distinguish the difference in which are the valuable keeper and the varietie that is not or is just the standard. Small date copper.... Large date copper? Bronze... Transitional errors into the 1983..... Etc. Oh and the weight of the valuable ones to hold on to would also be super helpful, its all still a little unclear to me anyways. Even if you just posted a list of the 1982 error and transitional varieties that are worth keeping in like the community section of your channel that would be awesome too!! As I know videos are time consuming lol thanks in advance ☺️
1982 d small date, but copper, not zinc.
82small two dthat would be the small date copper that's newest don't forget two has the curve good luck I have seven beautyful 92'swide a m. 's
Bstingbutterfly how’s it going today? There’s tons of resources online you can exploit and get all of the information you were asking about. Recent Issue Of Cherry Pickers is a great guide to have as well. I don’t usually buy one myself....I’ve been able to get most information doing a quick search on the internet. I think I have most of the significant 1982’s permanently burned in my memory at this point. LoL!
PCGS has a couple of free apps that are also nice tools to use as well.
I have 1982
I have the large date
Even though, sometimes, I'll say to self, 'come on, man. Get it out, already', I find your page the most informative of the bunch. U have a calm, relaxed voice. Your words are uniquely descriptive and fun. I appreciate the way u look out for us and even warn us of things to avoid. Your the man!
Thanks for the great look at the 1982 DD.Keep up the great info.
Aww man,I just threw my 82's in the copper box last night!
You are a great numismatics teacher and yes I have prescribed to your channel. Have a very blessed day .
Great another variety to watch for !! Thanks for the heads up !!
I truly truly appreciate your diagnostics and i dont mind the longer versions i absorb more so thank you.The 82s are still exciting.been saving since 1998.
Does the 82 small date have to be a doubled die? I found an 82 small date Philadelphia (no mint mark)
collector for many years , after all the years that have gone by of having to look up coins & bills. I think that its awesome of the knowledge that you have educated yourself on. Awesome info that you put out for the public to here. Very much appreciated, alot of work keeping track of each individual, thumbs up and a high five. Thank You
Rechecking my 1982’s. Thks. Love your videos

I'll start looking thanks!
Hi blue ridge. Ur my lucky channel. .I watched the one I missed and saw the close up of Lincoln on the double die and when I was looking at a coin at the same time.... I saw the same thing I was seeing in the screen. Then i was watching this because I think i have an 82 sm dt on copper with ddo & ddr and I'm getting ready to look but the fG and AM are backwards. (Meaning they don't follow the typical science looked for when trying to discern.) Hmm... love ur program. Ty... I've learned a pleathera of great info from you!!!
I am new to coin collecting and I have watched most all of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have a question and I am hoping you can help me out. I have a 1982 large date Lincoln Cent and it is a D over S. However, I am not able to find any information on this coin. Are there other websites besides, Wexler's, Lincoln cent resource, variety vista, ebay, Coneca etc, that may have information on this coin? I appreciate your help. Thank you
Appreciate the refocusing my exasperation with my collection of 82 and 83 Lincoln's, I thought the video you presented was A-1. I will use this video as part of My confirmation process of what I know I have already amassed. I will share my coins if you are interested to see what shakes out ..
I just found one in my coins! Thanks for the info

I have one of these, I found it in a cup of pennies I had sitting. The left side of the front has no rim and is flat and the right side has a thick rim that is doubled. It's a 82 large but the 2 is more defined than any of the other numbers
I love learning from you.. I'm an Executive Master Level Educator and your my Educator... xoxoxo
Love a shoutout, thanks BlueRidge
Love the long videos, honestly.
I've got all 7 1982's each a DDO or DDR or both DDO&DDR together. They were all in a 1982 Lincoln cent holder containing all 7 varieties. All red and beautiful.
I will be checking on my 1982 also
I JUST FOUND THE 1982 D SMALL DATE DOUBLE DIE. I have looked and collected 50 1982's . I just found it!

My partner and I coin roll search every day, and he just found a 1982 large date DDO copper cent.
Always learn so much
It's on the Denver Mint as well same year
Thank you!
I have one thats multiple error 4 clips in a x pattern and reverse is offset
I've been meaning to ask a question for a long time . Back story first. Supply and demand will generally set the price for anything no matter what it is. I didnt know about this coin until this video . Thx btw. I think it a kool Doubled Die but demand has to be low or its not a very well known DDO. The 50 dol value is reflection on one of those 2 options . I cant remember all the descriptions given as to availability , but it was along the lines of scarce, rare, extremely hard to find , very few examples known to exist, and you said you've looked for 12yrs. Then I hear 50 dols .Why doesn't the price reflect on the extremely rariety but rather seems priced as fairly common and I could probably find 4/5 a year type price. Now I know if you think you got a MS66 and get it slabbed itll go up somewhat . You've got 12yrs on this and I've got my own ghost DD's in which the prices are the opposite formula. For example.
hello i was just listening to you about the 1982 d/d penny i believe i have one
That coin looks good. Is a super bowl a very large bowl mmmm.
Thanks for the video. I wouldn't know what to look for. But hey! I'm pretty sure I just found one of these! Thanks, Man!!

Nice video
I have a few of them 82 DDO’s.
😁👍🏻I wish you would do a video, unrolling wheaties and explaining the coins found with, errors damages etc. By the way, do you sell unsearched rolled or coin bags? I rather buy from a trusted source like yourself. The coins I got from my bank, are always seriously dirty, some what looks like blood and fecal waste. I have learn more from others, visually showing us, plus it's entertaining, most definitely educational.. and I love the big brother feel, I get from your channel.
Enjoy your day Shaun, and thank you for the video.. Back to hunting 82's
Love your channel

I believe I may have just found one of these 1982 DDO large date in better shape than the one in video. I'm in Pennsylvania. Would you be willing to look at it if I send you a picture? Love your videos ❤️
I started my collection at age 12 when my dad gave me lunch money for school it was a 1964 Quarter, but my second ex kept and sold my collection now I've started over collecting current coins then moving up.
That fucking bitch.. That sucks bro. I'm sorry for your loss
I put one of these out for sell this morning.
Are there different, later dye DDO stages of this coin? Or, is the one shown in this video the ONLY DDO found?
Can you make a video on what double dies and errors pcgs ,ngc, anacs acknowledge and the ones they dont . Before we throw away money. Thanks
I think I’m holding one right now! It’s got a pretty rainbow tone too! It’s been in my car for years! The “in god we trust is wide, but I can see doubling in Liberty too! I live in NH, so I get mostly p coins
I just went through a pile of coins. First time ever and I've found one 1982 D and several without the D. I don't know what I'm doing, though, so I don't know what I have.
I know this is a year late but i always save my unc/au change . As you collect your knowledge grows and you can go back and find things that you wasnt able to identify at first.

Valuable information.
Can I get a shout out?
Your a good man blue ridge thanks for shoutout. You don’t have to apologize grateful for the free education on things I either forgot or didn’t know in modern. You sure in the heck got the voice and swag for radio. Remind me of a radio talk show host named cowhead. I have no idea what he looks like either but his voice and demeanor pull you in and you got that same thing going on. Keep kicking ass I tell new collectors about your show. By the way I got 2 coins at stacks bowers right now in the online auction and one on rarities night. And you would get a kick out of that one. It’s actually gonna be in the final hour of that auction. Anyways Ttyl
I just realized I had this yesterday and I was researching it now
Is there any 1982 double die varieties of Lincoln's ear?
